Location made it easy to get around from & in a quiet area. It was comfortable & ideal for a couple. Will stay again next time we are in town if available. Owner was very helpful too!

What a disgrace. I tried to contact the host prior to arrival. He refused to return any of my calls or emails to confirm my booking. Upon arrival at the property it is apparent that the photos online were taken when the property was built & there has been extremely limited cleaning & no maintenance since. Supposed to be suitable for pets but the yard is full of leaves, branches & rubbish. Outdoor setting is rotten bbq is unusable. Property is suitable for 4 people but only a 2 seater very stained lounge & 3 chairs at the dining table, 1 small plate 2 tea spoons & 1 cutting knife, large plates and coffee mugs are dirty and chipped. Has washing machine but no where to hang anything – cloths line is dirty/broken & no airer as stated in listing. The bedding is also stained & not the correct size for the beds. Listing states there is ample storage for your belongings in each room – what a joke – second bedroom has 2 single beds which almost fills the room; there is a single draw bedside table between them to store belonging for 2 people & a lamp that doesn’t have a power point to plug in into. There are 3 fan lights & 1 remote will turn them all on & off even if you only want 1 to work. There is no dishwasher and the onsite parking is only suitable for a very small car & only if you don’t want to be able to get in & out of the car.

I think this must have been one of the worst properties we have ever stayed in. When we arrived the door was open. The hinges had failed and the door had dropped. This clearly wasn’t a new problem since Rub marks were evident on the door jams. The door had to be physically lifted to open and close it. The pictures taken must’ve been when the property was first presented five or six years ago, today the pictures look nothing like what the property presents as. The property was basically clean. No deep cleaning had been done for a long time. The carpet in the bedroom is a dark brown but even that looked like it could have a good clean. There were tiny little ants everywhere. The Grass area in the photo is nonexistence just dirt and fallen branches and the outdoor furniture was very weathered and needs replacing. The property manager was very responsive and sent a locksmith out to fix the door the following morning. However, I should’ve read the reviews on the property which I didn’t prior to booking. But the property manager should also have read the reviews and acted upon them. I did suggest to him that he should come out and review the property as they were falsely advertising a product that did not exist as described.
Seriously, we liked this property, however, we would have enjoyed our stay more if it was only me & hubby. The cabin itself is an o.k. size, but with some minor design flaws.
Luckily, we were busy during the day, as the outdoor yard and BBQ area were NOT kid friendly. We took several photos which we have passed onto the owner and there were other issues we communicated, so, hopefully he will take them on board for future guests. It was very difficult to apply the star ratings for this property and we may return, minus the granddaughter. The main positive is that we will be adding this Host to our favourites. We can't fault his communication and willingness to help. A simple case of the right Host, the wrong property in this case. An afterthought - the parking is not ideal if you have a large 4WD like our Toyota Hilux. The driveway lighting is non-existent. Hubby is an excellent reverser and his vehicle has a reversing camera. He got frustrated, but Liv & I had a good laugh at the amount of times he had to stop and straighten up reversing out about 6:30pm. The bed in the main bedroom was SUPER COMFY (for us anyway)!! Great sleep both nights.
This property had a major problem with cleanliness. There was crumbs under the toaster on the bench, cookware was greasy and unusable. Dishes including coffee cups were unclean. Ants were throughout. There was also some clothes in a drawer in the bathroom. It was so bad I took photo's.

Wow that is the worst review I have ever received in the six years of being a holiday rental host. I wish you had have told me there was any issues during your stay because I would have actioned that immediately. My apologies that you didn’t have a nice stay if only you had have informed me of any issues I may have been able to assist in fixing any problems. All the best anyway…
Great place located close to Townsville CBD. Very modern and clean. Kitchen had everything you could need for your stay. Great little courtyard out the back. Beds were super comfy and great showers. Would definitely recommend 😊
Loved staying in a smaller, and having a kitchen is great. Definitely will stay here again

The place is ok for 2 people and no pets
We booked for 2 nights but we were so underwhelmed and displeased with the property that we ended up leaving after our first night. The "home" is a converted mountible. There were so much mosquito and flies (with no pest control) but our main problem was that they claimed to be pet friendly, but you couldn't even bring the dogs inside the house, and there was no direct access from the mountible to the backyard. We paid just under 150 dollars a night, which is way too overpriced for the experience we had. I don't expect any refund, however I hope that this review will help other people make wise decisions about staying at this place.

I'm so sorry you had a bad experience. It is very important to me for my guests to enjoy their stay and I will always do everything I can to assist. I would never miss lead anyone I am a professional host I have been having guests in this property for 4 years and I have never had such a bad review. This home is a modular home and the photos clearly show what the property is. As part of the house rules pets are not allowed inside as I need to consider all guests and some guests have allergies so pets are not allowed inside, I'm so sorry if you didn't see this in the house rules. You paid $80 per night plus a one off cleaning and linen fee I think this is reasonably priced for fully fenced pet friendly accommodation. I set my properties up as if I would live in them and I would be happy to stay there it is clean modern, no expense spared accommodation. Once again sorry you didn't enjoy your stay.
Clean, comfortable, pet friendly and excellent management
Excellent week stay with our 2 dogs. House was clean and met all our needs. Steve is a fantastic host always willing to help with any issues. Thank you
Awesome for pet owners, I had my puppy with me, and i didnt need to stress one bit. Its situation behind a huge queenslander house, so i really enjoyed the privacy.. And Steve was Awesome, only a call or message away...
Property was clean and nicely furnished, however main bed frame seemed very loose & when ended up tightening it ourselves. Security was great however door alarm was very inconvenient as would go off at times when we were in a rush. The lights on the fans would turn on with one remote and another would turn off at the same time. So we always had one light on, than visa versa. Other than this the property is beautiful & comfortable.
