Wonderful time in Hawaii

Property is only a short walk to the beach and it is surrounded by drink and food options. Unit was simple, but charming and most importantly it was clean and had the right amenities. Would stay again!

Pros• Location• Parking included!!• Laundry facilities on-site• Lots of drawers for unpacking and maximizing available space• King bed is very comfortable!• Side tables have USB phone charger plugs• Beach chairs and umbrella were great added bonusesCons• Cleaner definitely isn't doing a thorough job: Floors were filthy, cutlery is dirty, walls and doors throughout have hand and foot prints all over, dusty around and under furniture, saw multiple cockroaches within the room during our visit, etc. • Pillows are flat and unsupportive Tips to future guests• Small balcony looking out over the pool, but a support structure is right in the middle impacting view and access to be out on the balcony• Bathroom is quite a small space• Parking lot is SUPER tight, and dedicated parking bay is very snug. We rented a Jeep Grand Cherokee and it felt like it barely fit. Go slow!Suggestions for Host• Empty out the unusable abandoned items in the bathroom drawers • A foldable clothes drying rack would be very helpful for wet towels & bathers

Thanks for your review Tye. As you know, we were there when you stayed so any issues you had could have been rectified straight away if you had let us know. We actually arrived in Hawaii 2 days before you arrived and we were there when the cleaner was cleaning the apartment for you. It was absolutely fine although we did replace 2 of the 6 pillows after you left. Maybe your 6 year old left hand prints over the walls? (We also had the pleasure of finding the stinky surprise you left for us in the toilet, thanks for that).

Centrally Located and Convenient Parking

We liked how we were within walking distance to some nice coffee shops and restaurants with easy on/off access to get to the highway or to any of our many adventures. We were also a quick walk to Waikiki beach! We had a rental Jeep for our trip so it was FANTASTIC that the parking spot was included with the room, a real convenience and money saver for us.

Perfect Location

I was hesitant to stay in Waikiki, but it was wonderful! We were able to walk the beach in the mornings, leave in the car for adventures around the island, and come back to find good dining experiences. The parking was a thrill ride all on its own, but we were thankful to have it. We would definitely stay here again just to sleep on their comfortable pillows!

Great stay in fantastic location

Surprised my wife with a trip to Oahu. This place was perfect for our needs. The room was spacious with a king size bed, a pull out couch, 2 small refrigerators, a microwave, etc…. The assigned free parking space was great! One of the best things is the location! We walked across the street, through the Hilton resort to a beautiful beach every morning and at night we would walk down the beach, then a short 3-5 minute walk back to our room. Our room also overlooked the pool and standing out on the balcony, we had ocean views. We loved every minute of our stay!

Great stay. Great room. Great Vacation. My wife and I made our first trip to Hawaii ever. After promising her for 31 years to take her all the stars came in line. Airfare price was right so I booked. Then I found this VRBO listing and I started to read the reviews. If you are worried about the parking deck review or anything else don’t be. The room is great. The location is great and walking distance to the beach is very reasonable. Lots of great food within walking distance also. Trip info - rent a car (Jeep). It’s a little over an hour drive to the North Shore from here. Diamond Head is a great hike. Snorkel Hanauma Bay (be ready to get your tickets online at7am. They are gone by 7:05🤣. Enjoyed the stay

Waikiki. Location can be good and otherwise.

Our 4 day stay put us right in the heart of the Waikiki/Ala Moana hotel zone. Walking and city bus access to the beaches, restaurants and shops there. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is a medium sized hotel room. Soft king bed, a sofa, small dining table with 2 stools, 2 small refrigerators, a microwave, coffee service, and a utility closet with snorkels, ironing board/iron, beach towels. Spacious, comfortable, clean, well-appointed. Noisy for our tastes. This has only one adjoining room on 3rd floor, expect to hear neighbors. This room is one level above and overlooking the small outdoor pool so you hear whatever is happening there. Like being in the country, we were awakened by a rooster crowing. Next came the daily hotel workers' protest and picket line right across from this hotel, with drums, group yells and chants starting after 8 am every morning for 45 minutes. This unit has a designated parking space in hotel parking garage, small cars fit best in the garage. Hotel elevators run at a leisurely pace. Coin laundry in parking garage.

There are several housing options in Waikiki that are much past their prime. No balcony, windows do not open so no fresh air. Kitchenette means only one sink- the one in the bathroom. I had a view of the small pool one floor below. (There are 3 extremely slow elevators) made a major error by double booking my stay and did not catch the error until too late for a refund. Owner said he would try to rebook those 3 days but I never heard from him again and no refund. My fault but I was so glad to leave for my stay in a Turtle Bay condo which was a huge improvement.

Margaret, sorry you made a mistake booking for too long but giving us a week to try and find someone else to rebook your dates is almost impossible and I told you there were no guarantees that we would be able to do that. There are two sliding doors opening out onto a Juliet balcony so there is no reason why you couldn’t have fresh air. You’re being a bit convenient with the truth here. If you wanted a full kitchen, then you need to book somewhere with a full kitchen. Please read the description and look at the photos when you book. Regards, Martin.

Stop scrolling and book this place!

Our trip to Hawaii did not start off well as we had booked at a large chain hotel with a TON of extra fees. After one night, we had 12 minutes to check out and we contacted Martin... he replied so quickly! It was available and we moved. They even let us in early that day and allowed us to stay later on check out day because our flight was at night. The stay itself was wonderful. It was a good size for the two of us, I am not sure I would want to have more people but it was great for us. The pool was one floor below, easy to access by stairs. I think the best thing about the place was the people who also stayed there. Year after year, they came back and we made new friends at the pool. It was small, always chairs available on the pool deck, and there was a public BBQ. Even though we were booking through VRBO, the staff were clearly happy to be there and so helpful. There is an IHOP attached to the hotel (would not recommend, terrible service) but just a few minutes away were food trucks and tables. Location was FABULOUS! Pharmacy, restaurants, and the beach was a short walk away. I always felt safe and would stay alone for sure. Martin and Cindy could not have been more lovely. I hurt my back one day and Cindy showed up at our door, after 10 pm, with a, extra pillow for me. Always responsive. After one week of being home, I am looking to see when it's available so I can go back. Best decision ever.

Great Deal

Vrbo keeps asking me to leave a review on my stay so I will be transparent. Room wise, the room is great for the price. Location is super close and walking distance to everything in Waikiki. Check in is easy. The room is modern and has everything you need from a hotel. The free parking per day was a huge factor. Great location, modern spacious room, great parking situation. Experience wise, wasn’t the best for me. My trip to Oahu was cut short due to Hurricane Hilary. My flight got delayed from San Diego to Oahu and I missed out on 2 nights of my scheduled stay. Vrbo would not refund me for the 2 nights missed due to that underwhelming hurricane. I did notify the host that I would be arriving 2 days late because of my flight situation. With that being said, when I finally did check in to the room, it was a mess. Towels on the floor, the bed was a mess, dirty floor, and the bathroom was not cleaned or restocked. It appeared that this room had not been cleaned ever since the last person checked out. Now understand my frustration, I already missed 2 days of my vacation because of a hurricane, no refunds for those 2 days, and now when I finally get to Oahu and check into my room, it is a complete mess. There were 2 extra days to clean the room, I didn’t understand how I walked into a mess. The room is great for the price. My personal experience from the hurricane Hilary extravaganza does not take anything away from the greatness from the room. I would recommend

I would stay at this property again. Check in was quick and easy. Location was great. Easy walk to the beach. Plenty of food and shopping options in walking distance if you don’t want to drive and have to park at different places. Pool onsite was a nice option to have. The parking garage as mentioned in other posts is small but we had a Dodge Charger and did fine just had to take our time around the corners. The water pressure was pretty low and the room and hallway smelled a little musty. But we didn’t spend much time in the room so it wasn’t too bad.

The room suited our needs mostly well. There were 2 mini fridges, one was mostly frozen over inside. Microwave was useful, but washing the dishes in the bathroom sink was awkward. It was good to not have an extra fee for parking each day.

Excellent Waikiki location. Free parking in garage is a big plus!

Assigned parking stall is almost at the top of parking garage and turns from floor to floor are tight for vehicles larger than compact. No disposable cups for bathroom use and no dishwasher to ensure provided dishes are sanitized (COVID precautions?) Housekeeping apparently did not include checking under the bed. A single high-heeled shoe was found under the bed from a previous tenant.

Thanks for your review Herman. Yes the car parking is a bit tight but we have hired a Jeep Wrangler previously and got around the carpark with no issues. As you would have seen, there is no space for a dishwasher and I doubt you will find one in a studio anywhere in Waikiki. I'm not sure why you want disposable cups clogging up the environment. Emplacement parfaite!!! Les commodités sont correct.. manquait la plaque chauffante pour se faire à manger ce nous occasionné un peu de problème ... avons donc utilisé le bbq . Stationnent très pratique..balcon un peu décevant que des portes patios..piscine et terasse très agréable .
