About this property

BIG HOLE RIVER RETREAT November-April SPECIAL!

Garrisons Big Hole River Ranch - A Great Place to Get Away From It All!

Liars Lodge sits in the middle of a fifth generation operational cattle ranch - Garrisons' Big Hole River Ranch and is the perfect base for a fly fishing vacation, hunting excursion, bird watching, hiking or just to get away from it all. Out the door is private access to 2.5 miles of Montana's famous Big Hole River, perfect for floating or solitary wade fishing. Cabin is also centrally located between the Beaverhead, Madison, Ruby and Jefferson Rivers, Yellowstone National Park and world class skiing. The cabin is brand new and is appointed with top quality amenities with several sleeping options available.

The ranch is 2.5 miles east of Glen, Montana, easily accessed by taking Interstate 15 south from Butte or north from Dillon. If you are traveling from the east you can also access the home from the Burma Road (a fair conditioned dirt road), which follows the Big Hole River from Twin Bridges to Glen. Fishing access sites are widely spaced downstream from Glen making this one of the most lightly fished sections of the Big Hole River.

We are a ranching family of four. Blessed to have been chosen to be stewards of the land that runs adjacent to the famous Big Hole River. The ranch has been in our family now for four generations...our children being the fifth generation if they choose to carry on the family business. We raise cattle, horses, hay and have an exclusive hunting business (the ranch is home to trophy whitetail deer). We built our cabin (a labor of love built by us and our brother) to share with family, friends and quests! We would be privileged to share it with you!!

Why they chose this property

This is the only vacation rental property that sits on the banks of the Big Hole River offering 2.5 miles of private fishing access.

What makes this property unique

Awesome views out every window. If you enjoy watching trophy whitetail deer, a resident herd of elk, turkeys, moose, bald eagles, cattle and horses grazing, and several species of birds then this is the place for you! An additional bonus - Big Hole River is a stones throw away!
