This was a great little getaway in the center of the busy city. We loved the fact that it really did feel like we were closed off to the world, the pool was beautiful but the weather would not permit, otherwise we definitely would have enjoyed it as well as the hot tub. It was the perfect size and hade pretty much everything you needed without feeling cramped. We definitely can’t wait to visit again.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My wife and I came in town for a wedding and Ted and Jackie's was a wonderful landing spot. The place was great, they were very accommodating with the pool/hot tub temperature needs for my pregnant wife. Also, having our own private entrance was exteely convenient. Definitely be sure to run into downtown Garland for coffee in the morning, it's so close!

The A/C worked once we made a call and had to access the adjoining unit and switch the unit to heat. We were there and it was COLD but, understandably, the A/C units were set to COOL and not HEAT therefore we had no heat night 1. Once we got that fixed the rest was good. The hot tub was a little bit on the dirty side once the jets kicked on but, didn't stop us from enjoying a drink. If someone is in the unit adjacent and had differing climate preferences this may be an issue but, all in all it was a good place to stay for us.

Lovely place, Lovely Hosts

Lovely place with lovely hosts. They were quick to help out when we could not figure out how to work things. Quiet and quaint property. Local church bells periodically ringing were pleasant in our opinion. Ideal location for our needs.

Quiet oasis

The place was great! The pool was inviting on a hot summer day. My husband and I enjoyed our time of solitude for our anniversary. The hosts are very responsive and generous. The kitchen is well stocked if you decide to cook. It was inviting - a home away from home.
