As a general contractor with an eye for design (Tim) and a human resources director who enjoys cooking, interior decorating, photography and hiking (Lori), we reside in Ventura. Our mountain home is very special to us and we escape to it several times each month and find the location ideal (just an hour and a half away). Attention to detail is number one with us and we pride ourselves in offering a very clean, upscale, peaceful, quiet, Zen-like option for your mountain getaway. Why Lori & Tim chose Pine Mountain Club
Near LA / Ventura County line - in Kern County. We truly love the Mountains and spent many childhood summers in areas such as Big Bear and Mammoth. After considering many mountain areas, we remembered hearing about this quaint Alpine community. A quick Sunday drive took us to our home in Pine Mountain Club, in Kern County near the LA / Ventura County line. It was the only home we saw and fell in love with it immediately! It's so close -- we absolutely love it! Built in December 2003, our home faces south (with west views, as well) and is considered 'passive-solar' - a hidden jewel with its' unobstructed mountain views -- the sunrises and sunsets from our deck are truly amazing; the night sky will put on quite a show! We have designed our home for one or two couples and offer upscale amenities, including secure WI-Fi, Verizon cell phone service, satellite/TV in each room, a Carbon Monoxide detector, along with lots of extras! Our home is located on a VERY quiet street (said to be one of the quietest neighborhoods on the Mountain) with quiet, respectful neighbors who appreciate the peacefulness of our area, and we love its location high on the Mountain. And, aside from tree growth, our views will never, ever change. The quaint Village offers many dining options for you to enjoy, as well as shopping and has a 'long-ago' feel. Safe, friendly and peaceful! The golf course is beautiful year-round, and the community pool (seasonal) - refreshing! And, as avid hikers, we enjoy the many local trails. Back at our mountain home, we enjoy hand-feeding the jays, as well as viewing wildlife from our deck; the night sky is always welcoming, giving us time to relax, breathe and reflect. And our very favorite ... watching the sunsets. They truly are amazing!! You won't believe a place like this exists! This truly is the perfect couple's getaway or a quiet, peaceful, secluded retreat! And because this is our second home, we maintain every aspect of it, as well as our beautiful landscaped property. Cancellation policy
- 100% refund of amount paid if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
- 50% refund of amount paid (minus the service fee) if you cancel at least 14 days before check-in.
- No refund if you cancel less than 14 days before check-in.
Damage and incidentals
You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you or your party during your stay.

Licensed hosts require a signed California Vacation Rental Agreement from guests, which will be sent as a PDF attachment and is due within 3 days.
This is our second home, so we cannot accommodate rentals in excess of 7 days. Fire Code maximum occupancy of up to four (4) strictly enforced.
Guests agree to follow all PMCPOA rules & regulations. Quiet hours: 9:00pm to 7:00am -Security patrolled community. Please do not feed the wildlife.
