Cosy apartment in a gated community composed of one floor villas with shared pool. Quiet, peaceful, set on the eastern flank of Mount Etna, it enjoys spectacular views of the volcano. It is surrounded by the countryside with citrus groves. The position is ideal for people who want to visit Sicily, enjoy the closeness of the sea and love mountains as well. There are two balconies in the living room and in the bedroom and a terrace of 25 sq.m. where you can have relaxing dinners enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the place. There's a lot of space for kids to run around safely. Facilities: Free Internet wifi , shower, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, iron, toaster, TV set (satellite TV), towels and linen included, CD player and CDs, reserved parking place. The location is ideal in any period of the year for exploring the coast of Sicily and enjoying spectacular excursions on Mount Etna.

symapthique mais avec qq remarques

L'accueil est sympathique pour ce petit "village vacances" où les enfants peuvent crapahuter. Cependant, l'adresse donnée n'est pas exacte et se trouve en fait un peu plus loin de la mer que celle que j'avais lors de ma recherche sur google map. pour se rendre à la plage, il faut traverser une route assez fréquentée et rapide, prendre un passage avec une clé (et une seule) pour atteinrde le front de mer (peut être 400m). Attention, pour accéder à la piscine, il faut des bonnets de bain et elle est ouverte à des heures précises (fermée entre 13h et 16h30) et fermeture à 19h30 mais elle est surveillée. Quant à l'appartement, il est plutôt agréable et bien équipée. Seule la literie du canapé n'est pas satisfaisante (nos garçons ont préféré mettre le matelas par terre pour dormir). ne prévoyez pas de vous faire un BBQ : inutilisable. Le lave vaisselle ne fonctionne pas bien, la propriétaire en est informée. C'était donc bien pour notre étape de 2 nuits.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments but let me say first that I did not give a wrong address at all, it was you who thought the residence was Prato del Mare 2 instead of Prato del Mare 1.In the advert I say clearly that the apartment is at 400mt from the beach, and let me say that the street to cross is not so trafficated. I always tell my guests about the swimming caps for the pool, I'm sorry if I forgot to tell you about this, anyway you could easily find them in the nearest village shops. The dishwasher has always been working properly so far, it was you who told me there was a problem so I wasn't aware of it before your arrival. About the sofa bed :behind the wardrobe there's an additional mattress to add for more comfort.I know that the barbecue is unusable in fact I did not mention it in the advert, I haven't just had the time (and the help) to take it away. Anyway even though I always consider the guests' point of view, let me say that the apartment deserves more than the two stars you gave for what I consider minor issues. If the apartment was dirty and badly equipped, or not as advertised, how would you rate it?

We try to do everything we can to make people feel at home and help them in case of need, so we are really happy when our guests say they had a great time here with us .

Why they chose this property

We bought this apartment in 2007 because we love the peaceful location in the countryside, the amazing view of MtEtna and at the same time the proximity to the beautiful beach and the easy access.
We furnished it carefully and tried to make it as comfortable and cosy as it were our family house. We have accommodated a lot of people till now and had the pleasure to see some of them coming back for the third time.

What makes this property unique

The air conditioning and the pool are very welcome facilities in the summertime ; no trafficated roads nearby or noisy bars and restaurants, the flat is located in a secure gated community.
