Spacious one bedroom apartment with very large balcony and wonderful panoramic views to the sea and mountains. Set in the beautiful whitewashed village of Bedar. Modern fitted kitchen and bathroom. Free 100MB Wifi. Sleeps a maximum of two adults. The apartment is fully fitted with ducted air-conditioning which also provides heating in the winter months. Ceiling fans are fitted in all rooms. The balcony has a table with parasol and four comfortable chairs as well as a pair of loungers.

Cosy apartment with everything you need for a couples vacation. Very clean and comfy. It has an ample terrace with stunning views. Fully fitted kitchen with all the appliances and kitchenware you will need. There's two comfortable single beds in the bedroom and a nice and very clean bathroom adjacent to the bedroom. The caretakers and the owner were very friendly, helpful and accommodating with our requests. We would certainly recommend this apartment, and would not hesitate to stay there again. We had a wonderful time in Bedar, it is a quaint little town pretty close (by car) to many nice beaches in the area like Vera, Mojacar and Garrucha. We highly recommend this apartment for anyone interested in visiting this nice area of Almeria.

Cosy village with a great view

Great location very close to 3 resturants and supermarket. Cosy quiet little spansh village. Driving up the hills a few km from the motorway/los Gallardos. 15 min to beaches of mojacar by car. Amazing view over the desert landscape from the large terrace of about 30 m2 and the sea can be seen in the distance if its not mist n the horzon. The 35-40 m2 1 bedroom apartment had everything you need but couldnt find a garlic press and a grill on the terrace. Frendly and helpful caretaker and owner.

A lovely apartment

The apartment is set in a historic Spanish village which has a lot of character and interests. It has all the facilities for a lovely relaxing holiday with a balcony which has stunning views out to sea and the surrounding hills. The town has several restaurants to suit most tastes and for those who want more it is a short drive to Mojacar and other towns. We stayed during the local fiesta which we found fascinating to experience the celebration of the local history. This was our first experience of booking through Owners Direct / HomeAway and found it an ideal site for finding and booking the property. This was enhanced by communications with the owner who was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay there again.

Superb, the balcony was spacious as was the whole apartment, furniture comfortable, equipment more than adequate. People need to be warned about TV reception, about how to turn on the oven, and about the door lock. Speedy attention from Stuart and Natasha when we jammed the key in the lock. Otherwise we loved it. Maybe a warning about flights of stairs for senior citizens.

Belle appartement bien équipé possédant une belle vue plongeante sur la vallée.

Nous sommes guidée puis très bien accueillis par nos deux hôtes des lieux Natacha et Stuart. Lugar tranquilo, con muy buen ambiente, una atención esmerada. El apartamento muy bien ubicado y con todas las comodidades. We hebben een aangename verblijf gehad, ideaal om met 2 personen in dit appartement te verblijven. Bedar is een mooi wit typisch Spaans dorp. Enige nadeel dat je 15 min moet rijden tot aan de kust, dus zeker een must om wanneer je niet met je eigen wagen reist, een auto te huren. Prijs kwaliteit is zeker ok.

I currently live in rural Angus, Scotland with my husband Gordon and three little terriers. I'm Val, a gardener on an estate and I love being outdoors. We would love to eventually retire to Bedar, but that is still some years away!

Why they chose this property

We chose Bedar for our holiday home as it is such a pretty little village. The apartment is new but it is in the heart of the characterful pueblo blanco. The village is peaceful, always room to park, very stress-free. The area is very beautiful and not too 'touristy'.
We are delighted with our little apartment and wouldn't change a thing. We hope our guests feel the same!

What makes this property unique

The large balcony is a great bonus of our property. We have spent many happy hours relaxing there. We never tire of wandering through the village streets smelling the jasmine. There are enough bars and restaurants in the village to satisfy most tastes so it is possible to just stay put in the evening and not always have to drive.
