The beautiful promenade stretches from beyond Torremolinos to the spectacular Benalmadena Marina. You can wander from the promenade into typical Spanish streets offering a wealth of diverse shopping, and a truly magnificent church. Position of apartment is amazing lovely clean complex The apartment is roomy with everything you could need The tv would not work on english channels the downside is the beds are really uncomfortable and bedding is not great quality But plenty of spare blankets available Overall a good apartment

Thank you for your review Julie, I'm sorry you could not operate the TV controls, Why did you not contact Sharon for assistance? Our previous guest had left it on the English channels. Our current guest is happily watching English channels. We note your comments regarding the beds but must say we have never had any previous complaints. All the bedding was renewed this year..

This is our 3rd visit to Torremolinos and favorite place to stay. The location and view are magnificent. A quick walk to the Marina or bars in Montemar. My favorite russian salad can be found just outside at La Tombola, who also features buskers regularly. It was a beautiful walk to downtown Torremolinos. The bus is at the top of the hill to access all the neighboring towns. Our host provided all the extras that we needed from pool chairs to beach towels, great book options and even a laundry horse to knock out our mid week laundry. You could watch the sunset from bed. It was soooo beautiful that i set my alarm for it every morning. The celebratory prosecco was a much appreciated touch, too. Looking forward to coming back for a visit!

Hello Christine, I'm pleased you enjoyed your stay. Yes we are 40 meters to the Paseo ( promenade) and there are some wonderful restaurants. You may or may not know that most of the Chiringuitos have been demolished and rebuilt to the modern style that you saw which now includes an extension onto the beach. Fortunately we still have a few with the old style which has been synonyms with the La-Carihuela for decades. Best wishes, Antonio.

Just as it says. Great location. Views to the sea. Lovely gardens and swimming pool. Comfy beds. Towels to use which was much appreciated. Close to restaurants and bars. Flat walk to everywhere pretty much.

Great apartment for families or friends

Great apartment for both families and friends to stay, perfect location to experience everything in that area. Peaceful private area to relax by the pool or a short wander to have a day at the beach. I would certainly consider staying here again, with either friends or family.

Location was excellent and the apartment was very nice - better than the photos which don’t do it justice. Couldn’t fault anything and the communication was also very good. Will definitely look to go again.

Our group were not disappointed! Everything exactly as described in the blurb. Right on the beach. Pool and grounds in the complex were spotless and very well maintained. Lovely view from the balcony with sun in the mornings, perfect. We liked it so I have booked the same week next year

Wonderful apartment in superb location!

My family and I stayed in this apartment for 5 nights in February. Booking was simple and all follow up discussions efficient and friendly. The apartment itself is wonderful, very spacious and superbly located a stones throw from the beach. It was clean, well equipped and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to return.

Fabulous

Apartment was exactly as described, clean, spacious and comfortable, our stay was January so heating was used in the evenings. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops along the promenade, a short walk away. Nice walk along to Torremolinos old town and the other direction shorter walk to Benalmadena’s exquisite marina. We had a lovely stay and can highly recommend this apartment.

Had a fabulous Christmas & New Year in La Carihuela. Communication from booking to checking in was great. Check in was smooth & Sharon & Arthur were so helpful as was Antonio. Apartment is great, lots of space & everything you need kitchen wise. Comfortable sofas & beds. The location is great, lots of bars & restaurants close by. Would definitely book the apartment again if I go back to that area.

Fantastic Location

Spacious , well equipped apartment. Pool and garden area is lovely, plenty of space and shaded areas. Location of apartment is brilliant with sea & beach views. Host is friendly and easy to deal with. Complex feels very safe and secure. Lots of restaurants, bars & shops very close by. 10 minutes by car from Malaga airport. Highly recommended.

Stunning apartment

The apartment was immaculate, really spacious with stunning views of the beach from the large corner balcony. Everything you needed was provided in a thoughtful way. Plenty of storage, two bathroom with a powerful shower. Located within a minute of the gorgeous beach. Instructions were very clear and communication spot on. Perfect location

This nice 3 bedroom apartment is just steps away from la paseo. Easy access to local bus. It's quiet and the gardener is really helpful with just about anything. Near the hotel Pez Espada, it is easy for bus tour to pick you up. The apartment has everything necessary except a caddy to go pick up groceries. Absolutely recommended.

A break away with the kids

Fantastic apartment, fantastic location and amenities. The apartment is obviously in use a lot. Somethings are starting to show their age but not gonna niggle about that. DONT use sunbeds other than the white ones around the pool though! Some of the apartment owners have their own but are stupid enough not to mark them in any way. One might say its obvious yo do that or even put them away if you dont want them used? Absolutely perfect for everything else though. Thank you Antonio.

Fabulous location

Excellent location for a beach holiday. Appartment Large and comfortable but needs updating! No mattress protectors, poor quality bedding and pillows not really the luxury we expected. Ensuite has no usable shower, just large bath. Sharon the manager was excellent with communication and having repairs sorted quickly..fabulous pool area, but lacks sun beds!

I am pleased you enjoyed your holiday, sorry you couldn't find our marked sun beds. The apartment was redecorated last year and we prefer it to be Spanish. Not sure why there was no mattress covers, but a request for them to be fitted would have resulted in them being fitted.

We had a lovely time staying in the apartment. Location was great with lovely private pool area. Very spacious accomodation, plenty of room for six friends to share. We didn't always have hot water though. Some days it was barely luke warm and the other days it was boiling hot. The agent said there was only li.ited water in the boiler at one time but we found even leaving it for a couple of hours then the water still wasn't hot. Not sure if we were doing something wrong but there was no switches or anything to control it so not sure what the problem was. The signal on the tv wasn't great either. We couldnt aĺways access British channels.

I can only assume the last guests had changed the settings on the TV, for there are all the British channel available along with thousands of films and sport.

Pretty, peaceful location next to the beach

We spent Christmas and New Year in the property with our son and his family. The apartment has plenty of space and is comfortable. The ensuite for the main bedroom has a large tub with a handheld shower. The other 2 bedroom share a bathroom with an excellent shower. Our son is 6' 1 and he found the bed short, as it was winter he had to wrap a blanket around his feet at night. The master bed is very comfortable. The kitchen has plenty of plate, glasses etc. The pans are fairly old. However the oven works well. There is a washing machine, however the dryer is hanging clothes out to dry which takes time for them to dry during winter. The security for the apartment is very good. We hired a car and found parking was available all the time. It did get busier during the day when people were parked going to the beach. There are shops and restaurants close by, Carrefour and Lidl are a 20 minute walk. From the apartment we drove to Selwo, Mijas,,Cordoba, Ronda and the Embalses. We took the train into Malaga and to Granada. Internet is excellent. Sharon's son was there to meet us at the apartment gate. We communicated with Sharon through WhatApp which worked well. We would highly recommend this apartment.
