Welcome to Bryn Lodge, a detached two-bedroom property built 15 years ago on the land adjacent to our house. It's the perfect location for a relaxing getaway or for ramblers/walkers/adventurers to explore the Pembrokeshire National Coast Park. The property is furnished and decorated to a high standard with a mix of antique and contemporary furnishings. It's located in a quiet, rural village, a central location for exploring Pembrokeshire. There is a local shop just up the road for supplies, and a cricket club with a fully serviced bar in the village. Bryn Lodge is just a short 15 minute walk through the countryside to the estuary, where you can enjoy stunning walks and plenty of wildlife. We are just a 10 minute drive from the popular town of Haverfordwest, and less than 25 minutes from some of the best beaches Pembrokeshire has to offer.
Important point to note - the second bedroom is generally a single room. However, I do have a ‘truckle bed’ which is perfect for sleeping children. It is almost the size of a single bed, but when erected, it does compromise the space within the room a little. Don't hesitate to get in touch with me for further information...
You will enjoy the whole property to yourself, along with an enclosed rear garden and patio. There is off-road parking for up to three vehicles in front of the property, too.

Great location for visiting the various attractions and beaches that Pembrokeshire has to offer. Peaceful garden/patio area for alfresco dining/drinks.
Great little lodge that we used as our base for touring Pembrokeshire and some parts of Carmarthenshire. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nice to know the owners were next door, should we have had a problem.
Lovely property with great garden for the dog. Owners next door have dogs so very dog friendly. 2 good bedroomd- 1double, 1 single.
singleshort drive to beach.
We had a fine time in the little house. It was stylishly furnished and impeccably clean, very cosy on rainy days. We had everything we needed. The location was great to explore the south of Wales without hours of driving
A lovely place to stay. Susie was lovely and very helpful. Neighbours also so kind to our grandson which made his day. Back garden so safe for children which was just perfect. Thank you
Very easy to check in. Susie was great at responding to any queries I had and the property itself even though small and quaint, was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved all the art prints in all of the rooms!
Pretty central location to places we visited and even got a local run in from Hook to Llangwm and back around the stunning Cleddau estuary.
My wife and I were looking for a quiet place to stay in a convenient location. The lodge was perfect for us. It was a 10 minute drive to Haverfordwest west which allowed us to stock up on essentials for the week and approximately half an hour in different directions to Newgale, Broadhaven, Pembroke, St David’s, Dale etc. The lodge had all of the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay and having a private back garden with a lovely view was a bonus. Susie and Rou were lovely hosts and very accommodating. We would not hesitate to book there again in the future. Highly recommended.
The property was just what we needed. After days out we like to be able to cook and as we have been travelling for a few weeks we also needed to wash clothes. The property was quiet and our host friendly and helpful.
Lovely property with everything we needed for our stay. Very welcoming welcome pack, excellent internet. Excellent value for money. Susie very helpful with any queries that we had.Thank you Susie for letting us charge our PHEV, an added bonus. Lodge is well situated to visit many beautiful places. We did many walks during our 10 day stay, mainly using the coastal path. We found Pembrokeshire as peaceful and unspoilt as we rememberedI it from our camping, diving and caravanning days and would not hesitate to go back. And the weather was glorious
Although not near a coastline it was really good central position to cover lots of peninsulas.

About the host
Hosted by Susie Adams
Hi, we're Rou & Susie and we live here in Pembrokeshire with our two teenage girls! We all love the outdoors and spend a great deal of time both at the beach and in the woods! We try to surf, camp and walk the coastal path as often as possible!
Why they chose this property
I looked at lots of property but settled on my cottage mainly due to the location - quiet village on the very edge of the Cleddau Estuary. There are lots of beautiful walks around the village and Estuary which we often do with the dog. We can easily access Pembroke Dock and the beaches of South Pembrokeshire - Barafundle etc. However the property is also close (4.5 miles) to Haverfordwest (County Town).
What makes this property unique
We love this location as we are just a couple of hundred yards from the Cleddau Estuary where one is able to launch a Kayak or small dinghy. Llangwm is our neighbouring village and they have launch facilities as do Port Lion, Burton and Neyland Marina. From here you are able to sail as far as Neyland, Milford Haven or Lawrenny Quay. Lawrenny Quay has lovely walks and a lovely Cafe serving the most fabulous crab and Banoffee Pie!
Pembrokeshire is a beautiful county and is attractive to the quiet dog walker or adventurous kite surfer. It has something for everyone. We can provide lots of information on activities, best beaches, lovely walks and good places to eat. We are always on the hunt for good 'Gastronomic' treats as choice has been limited in Pembs until the last few years....
