Semi-detached house on a beautiful holiday park in Panormo 20 minutes from Rethimon, 45 minutes from the Heraklion airport. One bedroom with two singe beds. Living room with a good sofa bed for two adults. An open kitchen, modern bathroom own terrace with pergola and sea view. Three common pools and a special pool for small children (16” deep). Kitchen fully equipped with oven, ceramic hop, water cooker, coffee machine for filter coffee. Wifi internet connection. Flat screen TV with satellite receiver (BBC). Sea view from the kitchen and terrace. Sea 300 feet, 3 nice beaches and town on approximately 1000 yards. Pool open all day (April until the end of October) in the pool area you will find sun beds for common use and outside showers.

Great stay in Panormo

The apartment matches the description and the photos. It is well set up, with everything you need for your stay. There are 2 AC units, one in each room, with a door that can be closed between them. The patio has shade all day and a nice view of the pool. The pool is well-maintained, and perfect for families, with several depth options. The apartment is a great base to explore the area. It takes about 15 minutes to walk into town (1km), where there are lots of dining and shopping options.

Lovely apartment, great terrace and pool!

We enjoyed a fantastic week here - a very comfortable and chilled out place. A clean, modern villa, ideal for a couple with everything you would need. There is also a large terrace overlooking the pool where we spent much time relaxing. Lots of interesting places to explore in the surrounding area and Panormos itself has supermarkets, a bakery, and good choices for eating out, all just ten minutes walk away. Great service from Frederik - so good to order some shopping as we arrived on a late flight. We have lots of lovely memories - amazing sunsets, the honeysuckle scent from the gardens and the hugely friendly locals. We wished we had booked two weeks....next time!

Relaxing Holiday

This was the first time my wife & I have stayed at "Villa Aphrodite" and were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival. The apartment was spacious for the two of us, and with the patio doors opening on to a private terrace with a small walled garden was ideal. The communal pool area (with a life guard on duty every day) has a Mediterranean feel to it and is fantastic to soak up the summer sun, at dusk the pool area is illuminated and looks great to sit outside and relax with a glass of wine & a beer. The village of Panormos is a 10-15 min stroll for most of your needs and Tavernas (try Fanari's, friendly welcome and good food). we used the beach near Panormo Beach Hotel, nice and sandy and the sea was warmer than the pool. I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation and would hope to return. Many thanks Frederick.

Fair standard of accommodation but recommend a car as local beaches not up to much

Villa was reasonably well equipped although it lacked a mirror. There was only one small bathroom mirror but No full length mirror or indeed any other sized mirror. Kitchen well equipped but poorly lit so difficult to cook in evening. These are only minor points. A bidet would have been good but bathroom too small to fit one. Mattresses a bit past their best i.e. Quite worn and not very supportive. Generally location ok, village walkable with a few tavernas and bars. Local panormos beaches fairly dirty and water not the cleanest. If you have a car you can reach really nice places within 45 minutes to the west or 1 hour to the south. If you don't mind travelling then there is a lot to do in the area. Would not recommend without a car. Pool in complex really nice.

Lovely, modern and comfortable property

My husband and I stayed at the house for 5 nights in mid May. The house is located at the far end of a lovely little village, in a small complex of modern houses, in a quiet location near the sea. The apartment was very comfortable, modern, clean and spacious, with a terrace overlooking the large and very attractive pool. Mary, who lives in the village, met us on arrival to show us in, and was available if we had any questions. As it was early in the season there were only a few occupied properties and it was very peaceful. Even though the pool was a little too chilly for me at this time of year, it was really great to sit and have breakfast on the terrace, or relax and read a book, overlooking the pool. A minute walk to the end of the road and you can take a short walk along the cliff path overlooking the sea. It's a short walk into the village (10 mins max), where there are a number of excellent restaurants, and a few shops. This is a perfect location for exploring Rethymnon or travelling inland to the Arkadi Monestary. A lovely drive across the island to Preveli beach takes less than 90 minutes and is well worth the trip. (Be prepared for the 500 zig zag steps down to the little beach). On route you can visit the ancient minoan cemetry of Armenoi.Iraklion is only an hours drive and the musuem is excellent - buy a joint ticket and go on to Knossos from there. If you don't have a car there is a company in the village where you can book day trips to all the main sites such as the Samaria Gorge, Iraklion etc. I would definitely recommend this property.

Wir hatten tolle 2 Wochen auf der Insel! Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber funktionierte reibungslos und sehr schnell. Frederik war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Der Check-in war komplikationslos, aufgrund des Schlüssel-Safes. Wir haben das Apartment mit 4 Personen (2 Kinder) bezogen, was gut funktioniert hat (Auszieh-Couch im Wohnzimmer). Der Pool war unser Highlight. Er ist sehr groß und gepflegt. Auch gibt es genügend Sonnenliegen und Schirme. Die Gegend hat mehrere Strände, die auch in der Hauptsaison nicht übermäßig überlaufen waren. Nicht so gut hat uns gefallen, dass die kostenpflichtigen Sonnenliegen dort sehr dicht aneinander gereiht sind, sodass wenig Platz für ein eigenes "Quartier" bleibt.

Maison propre et équipée. Parfait pour une famille de 4. Endroit calme à l’extérieur et même a l’intérieure .(parties communes).extérieur propre aussi. Petit resto pas loin super marché petite plage et port. Pas loin de la ville de Rethymnon 22 minutes en voiture. Je recommande cette maison pour les futurs voyageurs.

Entspannter Urlaub in wunderschöner Ferienanlage

Die gesamte Ferienanlage inkl. Pool ist wirklich sehr schön gestaltet und lädt ein, anständig Urlaub zu machen. Zu unserer Zeit, anfang Juni, war es noch recht ruhig und wir konnten ausgiebig den Pool zusammen mit einem Kleinkind nutzen. Panormos als kleines Dorf bietet alles, was für ein Urlaub notwendig ist. Gute Tavernen, Supermärkte mit allem was benötigt wird, freundliche Menschen, Strände und Ausflugsangebote. Dennoch ist es empfehlenswert für Ausflüge ins Landesinnere ein Mietauto zu haben. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war immer zuvorkommend und alles war wie erwartet. Wünsche, wie z.B. ein Kinderbett wurden selbstverständlich erfüllt und wir hatten nichts zu bemängeln. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für die Sauberkeit im Haus, die unserer Meinung nach noch besser hätte sein können und die Küchenutensilien wirken abgenutzt. Tipp: Unbedingt ein scharfes Messe dabei haben, wenn man mal eine Tomate schnippeln will.

Traumhafte Apartmentanlage

Die Anlage war super gepflegt. Der Pool ist riesig und für Schimmer wie auch Nichtschwimmer, insbesondere Kinder, gleich gut geeignet. Die Wohnung selbst war für eine Familie mit einem Kind hervorragend geräumig und ausgestattet. Alles was man benötigte war vorhanden. Die Wohnung verfügt über eine riesige Terasse, die direkt vor dem Pool liegt. Nach einer Woche wurden Handtücher und die Bettwäsche gewechselt. Das Dorf Panormo ist ca. 10 bis 15 Minuten zu Fuß von der Anlage entfernt. Hier findet man ausreichend Restaurants, Souvenirshops und kleinere Supermärkte. Der nächste Lidl ist ca. 20 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Ein kleiner Strand mit Sportmöglichkeiten und einer Strandbar ist ebenfalls ca. 10 Gehminuten entfernt. Allerdings hat es uns hier nicht ganz so gut gefallen. Wir sind daher immer zum Geropotamos-Strand gefahren, der auch nur 10 Fahrminuten entfernt liegt. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Wenn man unternehmungslustig ist, ist allerdings auf jeden Fall ein Auto empfehlenswert.

Erholsamer Urlaub direkt am Pool

Die Wohnung eignet sich sehr gut für 3 Personen. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt, sogar mit Spülmaschine und Klimaanlage in allen Räumen. Der bereits erledigte Einkauf bei Ankunft war ein toller Service. Die große Terasse ist direkt am Pool und man hat 2 eigene Liegen. Bis Mittag hat man totale Sonne (aber auch 2 Sonnenschirme), aber dann ist die Terasse im Halbschatten. Die 3 Strände und der Ort sind super zu Fuß in 20min erreichbar, aber um die Gegend zu erkunden ist ein Auto zu empfehlen. Die Anlage ist insgesamt ruhig gelegen und sehr schön angelegt mit Palmen, allerdings wird ringsherum gebaut, so dass es manchmal Baulärm gibt, der aber vom Wind und Merresrauschen größtenteils übertönt wird.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Een klein stukje paradijs op aarde

Echt een heerlijk appartement van waaruit je de zee kan zien vanaf je terras en op loopafstand van een klein en typisch Grieks vissersdorpje met een aantal heerlijke zandstranden. Doordat er een twintigtal appartementen zijn gebouwd om 4 aaneengesloten zwembaden, heerste er zelf in en om het zwembad een heerlijke rust. Het zwembad zelf was schitterend met grote mooie palmbomen eromheen. Daarnaast staan er meer dan voldoende ligbedden, zodat eenieder altijd heerlijk van de zon of schaduw kan genieten. Verder was alles vanaf het moment van boeken tot en met de laatste dag echt perfect geregeld. Zelfs toen tijdens ons verblijf op zondagavond de airco stuk ging, konden we meteen bellen en hadden we maandagochtend een nieuwe airco. Kortom een echte aanrader voor wie van zon, zee, strand en rust houdt!

Traumhafter Urlaub in perfekter Lage

Wir haben im Juli, also in der Hochsaison, unseren Urlaub in dieser Wohnung verbracht, und hatten einen wunderschöne Zeit. Es hat alles gepasst und die Beschreibung des Objektes war absolut zutreffend. Die Lage, Ausstattung, Sauberkeit, .... einfach alles war top. Vor allem der tolle Pool hat es uns und unseren Kinder (12 und 9) angetan. Trotz Hochsaison war dieser nie überfüllt. Jede Wohnung hat eigene Liegen, so dass dies auch kein Thema ist. In 2 Minuten zu Fuß gibt es einen Holiday Markt, wo man sich mit allem wichtigen eindecken kann und im Ort, in 10 Minuten zu erreichen, einen etwas größeren Supermarkt. Alles in allem hat sich bei uns in kürzester Zeit das Urlaubsfeeling eingestellt und wir waren einfach zufrieden und können die Unterkunft ohne Abstriche empfehlen.

Superbe appartement

A part notre arrivée où tout c'est passé par téléphone et en anglais, le reste de notre séjour fut proche du paradis. La situation géographique est idéale pour visiter l'est de la Crète. Un petit supermarché à quelques 200 m est bien fourni et sur le port à 2 km les restaurants sont supers et peu onéreux; L'appartement est très bien équipé, clair, très propre . le lit et le capapé très confortables, la terrasse est spacieuse et la piscine d'une profonderur de 1.4 m ou 1.1 m est parfaite. Enfin l'isolation du logement est super et l'on serait pret a y passer de longues semaines.. Félicitations au propriétaire, il ne manque qu'un contact humain pour ouvrir le pavillon et indiquer quelques détails comme code wifi.

Tolle Zeit in Panormos im März!!

Alles sehr unkompliziert und problemlos im Ablauf, der Kommunikation und der Organisation. Das Haus und die Anlage sind gut gepflegt, auch wenn im März noch wenig los war, war es sehr schön. Auch im Dorf sind nur wenige Tavernen und Shops geöffnet, die, die offen haben, waren jedoch urig und die Menschen gastfreundlich und offen. Ausflüge nach Rethimno, Chania, Knossos und die Südseite vermitteln einem einen schönen Einblick in das kretische Leben und die herrliche Natur. Wir kommen gerne wieder, danke Frederic!! LG Anja&Ulli

Sehr schöne, empfehlenswerte Ferienwohnung zwischen Heraklion und Rethymno

Wir haben im Oktober knapp zwei Wochen in dieser Unterkunft zwischen den Städten Heraklion und Rethymno verbracht. Die Lage ist wunderbar, um Ausflüge zu unternehmen, sei es um Kultur zu erleben, oder zu verschiedenen Stränden zu fahren, allerdings ist hierfür ein Mietwagen unbedingt erforderlich. Im Oktober waren die Strände in Panormos nicht mehr besonders schön, teilweise sehr windig und unsauber, weswegen wir oft an die Südküste Kretas gefahren sind (ca. 60min Fahrt). Im Dorf gibt es Supermärkte und gute Tavernen, die zu empfehlen sind! Die Wohnung ist gepflegt, sauber und gut ausgestattet (auch in der Küche alles wichtige zur Selbstversorgung vorhanden), es gibt ausreichend Handtücher, Bettwäsche wird bei Bedarf nach einer Woche gewechselt und der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Vor Reiseantritt haben wir viele Informationen von ihm bekommen und bei Ankunft wurden wir vor Ort von Mary empfangen. Auch ein Kinderreisebett wurde uns zur Verfügung gestellt, wenngleich es für unsere 1,5 Jährige Tochter bald schon zu klein gewesen wäre. Der Pool war zu dieser Jahreszeit sehr kühl, aber wie auch die Ferienanlage im Gesamten sehr sauber. Es waren nur noch wenige Gäste in der Anlage, weswegen wir den Pool oft für uns hatten. Insgesamt haben wir uns in Frederiks Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und würden sie auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen! Vielen Dank für zwei wunderschöne, abwechslungsreiche Wochen!

Hi, I am Frederik de Zeeuw, I live in the Netherlands, Amstelveen with my wife and three sons. I had a dream of retiring in my own house in Greece so I had a house build on Crete. For now I am one of the owners of a successful consultancy company, Premium Business Consultants. We have been visiting Greece since our early twenties and I still feel very much at home in Greece. Why they chose this property

When we first came to Panormo about 30 years ago we had a great holiday. It is a small coastal town with a harbor and three lovely beaches. Simple but good taverna’s and nice people. Over the years every time we came to Crete we went to Panormo for a day or so. In 2010 we saw this nice new development from Interland “Sea front homes II”. A Mediterranean type of park on Crete. Very unlike other developments. We immediately were attracted to its nice atmosphere and bought one of the properties.

What makes this property unique

Staying in this great place you can just relax, have your children play in a reasonably safe environment. You can eat in an excellent restaurant, Porto Paresi, overlooking the harbor and one of the beaches. You can walk to town and the beaches. When you arrive you can just unpack. The house is clean, the beds are made and the pool is waiting. You can even have the fridge filled with foods and drinks for your convenience. Just send us an e-mail.
