Magico

Es war ein großartiger Urlaub. Gastgeber und Haus waren überaus freundlich und offen. Wir haben die Zeit genossen und konnten unsere Kondition beim Auf- und Absteigen zum kleinen "Dorfkern" trainieren. Dort gabe es vom Bäcker über Metzger bis zum Gemüseshop einfach alles für den täglichen Bedarf. Ein Besuch in der Gelateria war immer das Belohnungsziel. Vielen Dank, Mille Grazie, ciao!

Agréable séjour

La maison est bien située, en hauteur avec une belle vue sur le lac. Elle est bien équipée et décorée avec une recherche artistique de très bon goût. L'oncle et la tante de la propriétaire sont charmants et n'ont pas été avares de réponses à nos questions. Une voiture est indispensable pour circuler du lac à la maison et inversement. Et le seul bémol concerne les possibilités de parking à environ 50m (pente montante à l'entrée) de la maison. Fort heureusement nous avons pu nous approcher aussi bien à l'arrivée qu'au départ pour nos "déménagements". Il faut aussi savoir que bien qu'à la mi-juin il a fait très chaud avec beaucoup de brume limitant la vue du lac. Alors en plein été...sauf si vous aimez vraiment la chaleur. De ce fait la climatisation a été indispensable.

Traumhafter Blick über den See

Gemietet haben wir eine Ferienwohnung. Diese stellte sich jedoch fast als ganzes Haus heraus. Die Sauberkeit war hervorragend. Die Ausstattung war sehr gut, in der Küche standen Toaster, Gasherd, Spülmaschine und Wasserkocher etc. bereit. Für uns absolut ausreichend. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind vorhanden. Aus jedem Fenster konnten wir einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Gardasee genießen. Die Abende auf der überdachten Terrasse mit einem Glas Wein waren einfach zauberhaft. Schlüsselübergabe übernahmen die Tante und der Onkel der Vermieterin, die gleich nebenan wohnen und auch immer bei Fragen zur Verfügung standen. Kommunikation bei fehlendem italienisch in englisch. Das Haus ist etwas höher gelegen, sodass man schon mit etwas ansteigenden Wegen rechnen muss. Jedoch hat das auch einen Vorteil, wir hatten kaum Probleme mit Insekten wie Mücken und Wespen. Das einzige Manko war der fehlende Parkplatz zum Objekt. Genutzt wurde ein öffentlicher Parkplatz, der aber leider durch die Gäste der Trattoria (welche wirklich sehr gut war und auch dadurch immer gut besucht) gegen Abend immer voll war. Aber mit etwas Geduld findet man schon einen Parkplatz. Ach ja, und das Beste am Haus war die Klimaanlage. Ein Segen im August...

Wunderbares Haus abseits vom Trubel

Oben am Hügel ruhig gelegenes Haus im Ortsteil Montecucco (habe noch nie so oft einen Kuckuck rufen gehört!) mit sehr schönem Seeblick von allen Zimmern. Man erreicht es mit dem Auto von Gardone Rieviera in einigen Minuten den Berg hoch. Besonders die großzügige Loggia haben wir genossen. Selbst an heißen Tagen wehte dort ein kleines Lüftchen! Bei der Ausstattung hat uns nichts gefehlt. Die Vermieter sind ein zurückhaltendes, aber ausgesprochen freundliches und hilfsbereites Ehepaar, die im Haus nebenan auf dem selben Grundstück wohnen. In der selben, sehr kleinen Straße, befindet sich die Trattoria Marietta. Besonders die Pizzen sind sehr zu empfehlen, ebenfalls ist eine Reservierung empfehlenswert, vor allen Dingen wenn man auf der Terasse sitzen möchte. Sehr köstlich, mit mehreren Gängen, haben wir auch in der Trattoria Agli Agneli gegesssen. Sie ist im Ort Gardone (nicht am See), auf halben Weg den Berg runter, gemütlich in 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Dort befindet sich auch ein Obst- und Gemüseladen und ein kleiner Laden mit Bäckerei, ebefalls weitere Gastronomie. Einen großen Supermarkt gibt es z.B. in Saló. In Montecucco gibt es ca. 150 Meter vom Haus entfernt einen öffentlichen Parkplatz, hier haben wir ohne Probleme und kostenfrei geparkt (keine Parkmöglichkeit am Haus). Wer sich für Pflanzen und besondere Arrangements interessiert - wir waren vom Botanischen Garten von André Heller begeistert. Auf seinen verschlungenen Wegen gibt es viel zu Entdecken! Er zieht sich in Gardone den Hügel hinauf. Positiv fanden wir auch, dass die Gemeinde Gardone eine gute Mülltrennung betreibt. Jeden Tag wurde ein spezieller Abfall abgeholt. Einen kleinen Kiesstrand am See gibt es z.B. in Fassano, gleich hinter dem Lido. Ab 14 Uhr ist der Parkplatz kostenfrei (vorher mit Parkscheibe). Wir haben einen herrlichen erholsamen Urlaub verbracht und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

We were met with a friendly welcome by the aunt and uncle who live next door. The gentle old couple gave us some good advice and always asked if we need anything. After a week, we even received a bottle of homemade limoncello, which was a very nice touch. Everything is as described. The kitchen is well-equipped and in good knick. The AC is useful, especially when the temperatures reach 30 C or more. The view from both bedrooms is great – just open the folding shutters and you can see the lake. The view from the balcony is equally enchanting, onto the olive grove and the lake beyond. It’s a pity the (public) parking place is not a little closer to the house; but carrying groceries and large water bottles certainly helps burning some calories! We used the nearby alimentari to buy bread rolls and croissants every morning. It is near the church, only a five-minute walk down the hill. Other shops (Conad, Sigma, etc.) are a 10-minute drive away. The bar and icecream parlour (Bar D’Annunzio) down at the Church are okay, however the latter became rather irritating after a while. The icecream itself is not bad, but vastly fluctuating scoop sizes, the wrong change, no receipts, etc. make you wonder if they take tourists for mugs. Almost all the shops and restaurants in the area cater to tourists which makes it hard sometimes to find the ‘real Italian experience’. This said, we liked the nearby Trattoria Marietta (less than 100 yards from the house), but it is really, really busy, so do make sure to make a reservation (any day of the week!). Our favourite beach was Spiaggia Casinò, the one next to Bar spiaggia casino because it was in walking distance. We also went on day trips to Verona and Brescia, which are both worth a visit. All in all, we had a great holiday. We therefore fully recommend this house.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft!

Herrlich gelegen mit Blick auf den Garda See - von allen Fenstern & tollen Terasse hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf den See. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit und bei allen Fragen immer schnell erreichbar. Nur wenige Meter entfernt befindet sich eine Trattoria, die sehr leckeres Essen (vor allem die Pizza), freundlichen Service und ebenfalls einen schönen Blick auf den See anbietet. Die Unterkunft ist nicht weit von Gardone entfernt. Mit dem Auto ist man aber auch schnell in andere wunderschöne Ortschaften an der Westküste (Salo, Limone, Gargnano, Riva del Garda usw) oder Ostküste (Autofäre von Maderno nach Torri del Benaco) Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen! Schade, dass wir schon wieder fahren mussten - wir kommen wieder!

Wir kommen gerne wieder

Sehr schönes, sauberes und liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus in toller Lage etwas oberhalb der sehr hübschen Altstadt von Gardone. Die Beschreibung passt genau, die Kommunikation mit Francesca war unkompliziert, und der Empfang durch ihre Tante und Onkel, die die Eigentümer des Hauses sind, sehr freundlich. Sie wohnen nebenan und sind unaufdringlich im Hintergrund immer ansprechbar, falls etwas sein sollte (was bei uns nicht der Fall war). Sehr leckere Pizza direkt nebenan sowie einige gute Restaurants im Ort, alles sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar, auch wenn der Rückweg ein wenig steil ist. Gardone ist aus meiner Sicht einer der schönsten Orte auf der Westseite. Das Vittoriale und auch der botanische Garten sind auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. In Barbarone gibt es einen sehr guten, wenn auch nicht ganz preiswerten Badestrand. Wir kommen bestimmt noch einmal wieder! Birgit, August 2020

Positiver erster Eindruck

Wir waren überrascht, dass wir eine Wohnung gemietet hatten, es aber praktisch ein ganzes Haus war. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse war schon die Miete wert. Wir haben die Aussicht bis spät in die Nacht genossen. Es war alles sauber und ordentlich aufgeräumt als wir ankamen. Der Onkel der Vermieterin und seine Frau haben uns herzlich willkommen geheißen. Herrlich gelegen mit Blick auf See

Hier passt alles zusammen: ruhig gelegen mit fantastischem Blick wie vom Adlerhorst auf Gardasee. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr freundliche Gastgeber, kurzer Fussweg zu einer Reihe Restaurants ( von Pizzeria bis zu ausgezeichneter ital. Küche), stabiles Internet....es ist schade, dass wir schon wieder fahren müssen!

Außerordentlich schöne Unterkunft!

Die Unterkunft verfügt über eine wunderbare Lage. Man hat von allen Fenstern einen direkten Blick auf den See. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und mit Liebe eingerichtet, so dass wir uns von Anfang an wohl gefühlt haben. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren ohne zusätzliche Kosten vorhanden. Alles wurde nach einer Woche gewechselt und gereinigt. Das haben wir so bisher noch nicht erlebt (meistens musste man für so einen Service extra zahlen - hier jedoch nicht!). Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit und bei Fragen immer schnell erreichbar. Nur wenige Meter entfernt befindet sich eine Trattoria, die sehr leckeres Essen (vor allem die Pizza), freundlichen Service und ebenfalls einen schönen Blick auf den See anbietet. Reservierung empfehlenswert. Die Unterkunft ist nicht weit von Gardone entfernt, so dass man den Ort auch gut zu Fuß erreichen kann (sofern einem das Bergauflaufen nichts ausmacht). Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in einer süßen Haus mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf den See. Das Haus war sehr sauber, die Vermieter sehr freundlich und die Klimaanlage hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Das Zentrum, Vittoriale und Botanischer Garten sind zu Fuß nur einige Minuten entfernt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

PERFECT PLACE

Perfect place where to spend a nice week with friends or family! The house is perfect located in the area and we had the opportunity to relax and enjoy the spectacular view on the lake! ( View from all windows on the lake) spacious living room and big terrace, perfect for dinner and lunch! We will definitely come back soon!
