Recently converted cottage sleeping 6 with large indoor heated swimming pool kept around 30 degrees and indoor/outdoor large terrace overlooking the spectacular Rother Valley. Three bedrooms, one large bouble and two large twins, including one downstairs. Separate lounge, dining area and kitchen plus utility. Lawn plus walled garden and access to a field. It has WiFi and is 200m from the peaceful village of Burwash Weald with its local pub, 10 miles from the Sussex coast and 3 miles from Batemans.

Location and pool was fabulous. Property could have been cleaner as quite a few cobwebs about and unfortunately some cutlery and crockery hadn’t been washed and we had to re wash quite a few items before we could use them. No instructions for recycling so not sure what to do re recycling also the bath towels were far to small for adults. A couple of reclining chairs on decking would have been nice. Hosts were very quick to response on the occasions we needed to contact them and we would definitely return as we all had a lovely few days. We paid extra for dogs and no dog water bowl in the property.

Pros - The pool is warm and great fun. The views from the balcony are stunning. The area is very beautiful. Most of the beds are comfortable. Cons - The house and pool are quite tired and in need of TLC. Dogs are only secure on the front patio and not in the main garden or any grassy areas. There are no instructions for anything (pool, utilities, bin day etc) nor a welcome pack for The whole place could be great with more attention.

We had a really comfortable stay. The house has everything you need and the garden was super secure for the dogs.Communication was really good and Helen was super helpful. The pool is the highlight, really warm and spacious. I agree with some of the other reviews, there is some TLC required, both in the pool area and in the house, there was nothing that stopped us enjoying our stay.
