Villa Elea Zakynthos Island

The family-run villa Elea is surrounded by century-old olive trees that integrate the impressive estate to its lush surroundings.The swimming pool area with pergola shaded lounge and outstanding garden has been kept deliberately spare so that the focus remains on the soothing natural surroundings.A retreat in essence, this unique property offers a tranquil setting where you can relax and enjoy nature as well as the everyday luxuries that will make your stay an unforgettable experience

The villa is nestled in a quaint, traditional village, surrounded by hundred year old olive trees, called Lithakia. It is in close proximity (6-8 minutes by car and 20-25 minute walk) to beaches, restaurants/tavernas, shops, and supermarkets. The area in which you will find all of these is called Agios Sostis. We should mention there is an "unorganised" virgin beach called Kaminia about 10 minutes walking distance from the property.

We do recommend that you need some sort of transfer by automobile. Here's your options: 1) rent car/s (we will be more than happy to make arrangements for you), please ensure the driver/s have valid drivers' licenses. 2) Call taxis (we will provide you with the phone numbers you need for ease). 3) rent a mini-van (since you are more than 5 adults) and either you can drive it, OR we can provide a personal driver for all your daily transfer needs (at an additional charge).

Whatever your needs and desires we are here for you! We will be more than happy to provide you with any and all information that you need for beaches, tavernas, restaurants, sites, activities, shops, etc. We want you to feel like family, so we will be as close or as "invisible" as you'd like for your holidays.

A classic Zakynthos villa with the best service

A fantastic place to stay and explore Zakynthos. The location is in the middle of the olive groves, which guarantees privacy. The outdoor area is a wonderful place to sit all day. It is equipped with an outdoor kitchen, a number of seating areas and a swimming pool! The landlords will receive you at the airport and will be happy to help you with all your wishes. They can help you find unique restaurants and other points of interest. It is also highly recommended to spend a day on the boat that the landlords offer. They show you special places of Zakynthos and give you a fantastic day.

Amazing stay in a Beautiful Villa

From the moment we arrived in the island Giannis and Marla meet us at the airport and took us to the villa. The villa is perfect for families well stocked and the backyard area is perfect for entertaining. You can easily tell that owners really take care of the villa as if they were living there which is not always the case with rentals. Throughout our entire stay Giannis and Marla were always available with questions and even sent us an entire guide of things to do around the island. They went above and beyond and even made dinner reservations for us every night since we were a large group. The location is perfect mins away from town but also secluded that makes you feel like you far away from everything. I would highly recommend theirs villa and plan on staying here when we are back to Zante.

Neil and his family were absolutely lovely guests that we were honored to have them stay at our villa. After speaking with them for even a couple minutes, you feel as if you have known them for years! They were extremely respectful of the property and took care of it as if it was there own. Zakynthos with Friends

Ioannis and Marla were fabulous hosts. They were extremely attentive and helpful and they know the island extremely well. The first day meeting Ioannis he said “we will be as close or as far as you want us” and they did exactly that. They gave us the space we wanted while providing the help and support we needed. They were able to find us day-of reservations at restaurants that would otherwise tell us they were packed for the night. They also helped us get a scuba diving reservation 12hrs in advance. In terms of the house, we went in a group of 4 couples (in our late 20s) all from the US and some needing to work from home. The house was perfect for us. The WiFi never had any issues, the pool was great. There are four very similarly sized rooms and 2 bathrooms in the house and an additional bathroom by the pool. Everything was in good condition and we even used the charcoal grill one night. The home was in a good location, peaceful and a good distance from the busy Laganas bar scene but close to good restaurants and the beach. Not only do I highly recommend staying here if you need a peaceful stay but I also recommend asking Ioannis to take you out for a boat charter - it was awesome and in my opinion the best way to see the beautiful beaches the island has to offer. 10/10. Thank you Ioannis and Marla!

Wonderful holiday

We were a group of Italian guys and we had a lot of fun at the Villa! The location is beautiful, very peaceful and the island on Zakynthos is perfect if either you want to have fun or relax with beautiful beaches. The hosts are great and very nice people!

What a sunning place, what lovely people!

This beautiful traditional villa is perfectly placed in among centuries old olive groves and narrow country roads which gives the property a remote, detached feel which we loved. And yet the beautiful beaches and local tavernas are only a few minutes away. The property is also perfectly placed to explore the island which is truly stunning and has something for everyone. This would have been more than we could possibly have hoped for but we also benefitted from our wonderful hosts in Marla and Giannis. From the moment we met them at the airport they could not have been kinder to us and welcomed us like old friends. They were on hand at any given moment with help and advice. They even brought around home made food on a couple of occasions and we were lucky enough to be introduced to their wider family who were all equally kind and welcoming. It was a true pleasure to get to know them and better understand Greek culture and family life. So thank you to Marla, Giannis, Anastasia and all the 'beach family'. We miss you all - Phil, Pennie, Annabel, Freya and Florence xxx

Lovely hosts, stunning pool, fantastic outside space

We were three generations of family staying at Villa Elea, and we had a wonderful stay! We could not have asked for lovelier hosts than Iannis and Marla. Literally nothing was to much trouble for them and this really made our holiday. Highly recommend the boat ride: stunning waters and views. i hope we'll be back!

Fantastic times

The villa was absolutely perfect for our needs with the kindest and most helpful hosts from meeting us at the airport, to organising the most fabulous boat trip for the day, to advising us on restaurants and beaches and the list goes on. The outside space/ outdoor kitchen / pool area were perfect and we spent many hours lingering there. The air conditioning in the bedrooms means there is a cool haven at night. Thank you for having us and introducing us to the gorgeous Zakynthos - it was loved by everyone of our group of 8!

Beautiful Villa

We had a wonderful time in this lovely villa. The pool and outdoor area are particularly special. The owners could not have been more helpful. We enjoyed walking around the local olive and lemon trees and seeing bunnies. Earplugs required as night dog noises and early cockerels!

This was a fantastic Villa, Great Hosts, will come again.

This villa was very close by to the town (7mins) with a short taxi journey, well presented Villa very well equipped and very clean. Clam and quiet surroundings with lovely view form the room balconies.
