There is also a farmhouse table in the kitchen, which seats four comfortably. If you wish to cook during your stay there is everything you will need. Off the kitchen is a pantry and utility area with washing machine. The back door leads to a small patio area with table and chairs, there is a flight of stone steps with handrail that lead to the garden path which wends its way through the well stocked borders to a secluded and peaceful patio area at the end of the garden. There is a large table and chairs and parasol if required, where you can relax and unwind. Back inside a wooden staircase rises out of the sitting room with exposed beams all around. There is a first floor bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables with lamps, so plenty of storage space. There is a comfy window seat where you can watch the world go by down below. Off the landing there is a new, fully fitted bathroom with bath and shower over, wc and basin. The staircase to the top floor is through an old wooden door on the first floor landing and and leads to a large bedroom with vaulted ceiling, stunning chandelier and a super kingsize six foot bed. There is a large wardrobe, chest of drawers and comfy tub chair to relax in. The window gives views across to the church at the front and the garden to the rear. There is a fully fitted en suite shower room with powerful shower, sink and wc.
A starter pack of logs will be provided for winter guests.
There is parking on the road (no restrictions or payment required). Always easy to find a space close to the cottage.

Why they chose this property

I have copied here one of the reviews left by a guest and I think this says it all:
"We really enjoyed our stay at Perton Cottage, despite the cold weather! Our holiday was in late Feb, it was only 4 degrees outside when we arrived but the cottage was lovely and warm (the heating system is very efficient!) The cottage was well appointed and spotless. Both bedrooms are a good size. Becky had thought of everything....including a lovely homemade cake left for guests. The location is perfect, two mins walk and you're on the high street....we were spoilt for choice on the numerous high quality restaurants/pubs....and no driving required! Chipping Campden is a picture postcard Cotswold town, all the buildings are in keeping with the charming historic architecture. A walk up Dover's Hill (from the town) is highly recommended for panoramic views across the adjoining counties. Thank you for a lovely stay."
