We had a great week, great communication, ski holiday faff kept to minimum with convenient ground floor boot room, easy access to kids zone, and ski lifts to get up the mountain for excellent ski options. Lovely spacious apartment with Mountain View’s. Highly recommend.

Perfect apartment for ski in/ski out

We had a fantastic week at this apartment. There were 8 of us in total and it was a great size and comfortable after a days skiing. The location was perfect for all the facilities in Les Esserts. The apartment is comfortable, clean, well looked after and the owners were amazing at communicating before and during our stay. We’d highly recommend and we’ll hopefully be back!

Lovely apartment

This large, comfortable and well-equipped apartment was ideal for our family get together of three generations. It was within easy walking distance of the children’s learning area to the front of the building and the Les Esserts and Sairon lifts at the back. The snow was very limited due to lack of snowfall in the Alps but we all still managed to get out for a while each day and ski; the card games in the apartment came in useful! Stayed in Morillon 1100 several times now and this apartment has been the most convenient, would have no hesitation in returning again. The only negative point was that we had specifically chosen this apartment for the use of the pool, but we found out when we arrived that it was still closed, grandchildren were really disappointed☹ If you stay and are looking for the cutlery try looking in the drawers hidden in the table!!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Morillon Les Esserts dans cet appartement parfaitement situé. La résidence est agréable, et la place de parking dédiée est un vrai plus.L’appartement en lui-même est conforme à la description : literie confortable, bel espace de vie avec une grande hauteur sous plafond qui rend l’ensemble très agréable en famille. Seul petit détail à noter, la salle de bain mansardée peut être un peu basse pour les plus grands, mais rien de gênant.Côté station, Morillon Les Esserts est une petite station charmante où nous avons été très bien accueillis par les commerçants et le personnel. La neige était au rendez-vous, malgré une météo un peu capricieuse – mais à 1100m d’altitude, c’est le jeu !Enfin, la communication avec le propriétaire a été fluide et efficace, ce qui a contribué à un séjour réussi. Merci encore ! Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Une semaine sympa dans ce bel appartement. De nombreuses pistes et des forfaits adaptés aux besoins de chacun selon son niveau de ski. Skieurs ou non, sportifs ou pas, l’appartement se prête à un séjour en famille très flexible. De l’espace pour être tous ensemble et des espaces pour s’isoler. A 2 pas des commerces et des départs de remontée, on peut aussi bien déjeuner sur les pistes que rentrer. Les 2 salles de bains et le wc séparé sont de vrais atouts. Nous passons nos vacances de février à Morillon depuis 5 ans. Nous avons eu beaucoup d’appartements très corrects mais peu spacieux en cas de mauvais temps. Celui-ci est parfait. De la place, dedans et dehors et tout près des pistes. Le seul inconvénient qui n’incombe pas aux charmants propriétaires est l’isolation phonique. Bon séjour

Die Lage ist prinzipiell sehr schön, wenn Schnee liegt, kann man bis zur Haustür abfahren. Leider war das bei uns nicht der Fall, wir hatten die Reise dennoch angetreten, weil wir in Ermangelung von Skimöglichkeiten eine Wellness-Wanderwoche machen wollten. Bei Ankunft wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass Pool, Sauna und Dampfbad seit 2020 nicht mehr geöffnet seien und auch jetzt geschlossen bleiben! Wenige Tage zuvor hatte der Mieter uns noch die Wellness-Landschaft per Mail angepriesen. Für eine Familie mit 4 Kindern ist das eine erhebliche Änderung der Konditionen. Die Wohnung selbst ist schön, allerdings müsste sie besser geputzt und viele Küchenutensilien grundlegend gereinigt sowie einige auch ersetzt werden. Gleiches gilt für die Sofabezüge und die Badezimmermatten. Es wäre zu begrüßen, wenn eine Wohnung dieser Preisklasse eine Waschmöglichkeit hat. Sehr schwierig ist das Lüften, da ein Schlafzimmer nur eine Glasscheibe zum Wohnzimmer hat, ein zweites besitzt eine feste Glasscheibe zum Balkon (das dahinterliegende Bad ist ebenfalls ohne Fenster, das zweite Bad sowie WC sind ebenfalls fensterlos) und der dritte Schlafraum besitzt ein kleines Dachfenster, welches aber nicht geöffnet werden soll, da es danach offenbar schwer wieder zu schließen ist. Die gesamte Wohnung mit Schlafmöglichkeiten für 8-10 Pers und 2 Bädern und WC kann also nur über eine 1 x 2m große Balkontür belüftet werden --- eine Herausforderung, wenn mal etwas durchgewaschen werden muss oder man selber kocht anstatt essen zu gehen. Die Mankos haben wir dem Vermieter mitgeteilt, mehr als ein "I'm sorry" haben wir leider nicht als Antwort bekommen. Wir würden diese Wohnung nicht erneut mieten und können letztlich nur davon abraten. We cannot recommend this place as quite some things weren't as told. First of all the pool and spa are closed since 2020 and (according to the agency) will not be reopened soon. It wasn't cleaned well and some things definetely need a replacement. Getting fresh air in there is difficult: 2 bathrooms and a toilet without windows, 2 bedrooms without windows, one bedroom with a velux which is not allowed to be opened as closing it again is obviously difficult. Living in the appartment with 6 people (having a shower from time to time, washing some clothes by hand as there is no washing machine at the place and cooking a decent meal in the evenings) the only way of getting fresh air in the door towards the balcony --- for more than 2500€ we expected otherwise...

Perfect location!

Spacious apartment and perfect for families, great access to the pistes (a very short walk) and pretty much ski to door returning home. The apartment is very well equipped, always had plenty of hot water and the beds were very comfortable. There’s plenty of lovely restaurants on the doorstep, a great bakery next door and a well stocked Sherpa supermarket a 5 mins walk away. The pool was closed due to Covid restrictions so we didn’t get to see it but I’m guessing it would be a fun addition for families. The car garage was an added bonus and just about fitted our people carrier with top box !

Nous avons eu une déception à notre arrivée car l'appartement avait été mal nettoyé. La situation a cependant pu être arrangée rapidement grâce à la réactivité de l'agence immobilière et l'accord du propriétaire qui était bien désolé de ce désagrément. Tout le reste était conforme à nos attentes. Petit bémol pour la piscine qui est fermée l'été :-( La terrasse est énorme et la vue est splendide (dommage pour la vue sur le parking). La situation au pied des télésièges est très appréciable, ainsi que la présence de quelques petits commerces/restaurants à 2 pas de l'appart. Il faut cependant prévoir de prendre sa voiture pour la majorité des déplacements (grosses courses, lac bleu et autres activités de la station). Nous découvrions cette région pour la 1ère fois et sommes très agréablement surpris par la beauté des paysages et le côté cosy et familial de la station de Morillon.

Great April Skiing at Chaletmorillonview

Lovely apartment, centrally placed and so very close to the 2 main chairlifts. The views across the Giffre valley are magnificent, We were able to ski back to base despite it being mid April and were very impressed with the quality of the piste maintenance. We skied to all parts of the Grand -Massif area and cant wit to visit next season and possible this summer.

We are 3 joint owners- Howard, Mike and Simon from Oxford, Norfolk and Cambridge who have skied together with mutual friends for many years. A bank manager and 2 dentists who decided to join forces to buy a nice apartment big enough for a group to enjoy good standard accommodation.

Why they chose this property

Traditional villages, all year round holiday activities and lifestyle, fantastic high altitude skiing, real history and stunning scenery were powerful reasons for purchasing in Morillon. Door step skiing- Very easy drive from Geneva 60mins by car. Perfect for families with more challenging skiing as you venture into the adjoining resorts of Les Carroz, 1 lift away; Samoens 2 lifts away, Flaine 3 lifts to its centre.

What makes this property unique

Traditional villages, all year round holiday activities and lifestyle, fantastic high altitude skiing, real history- Samoens the nearest linked village" Town of Artistic, Architectural and Historic Interest" and stunning scenery were powerful reasons for purchasing in Morillon. The apartment has true Alpine character, light and airy with masses of glazing and a double-height living room with Chalet style sloping ceilings up the apex of the roof.
