About this property

Overlooking the Lake & Golf Course, seasonal heated Swimming Pool,Play area.

We purchased this lodge in the summer of 2012 and have renovated it to a very high standard. This is our home from home, so its been done with great care and attention to detail. We have installed a new fully fitted kitchen with a real wood breakfast bar. We have also installed English & French Satellite TV. Green Park has 77 lodges, with owners from all over Europe. Its a very quite tranquil area with stunning views out over the lake and golf course.

We have a shared seasonal heated Swimming pool, (Open from around 17th May to end of September)

Great place to stay

Great from start to finish. Good communication with Russell, easy check in, chalet just as it looked on the internet, but hadn't realised what a great viewof the lake we'd have. Clean, warm and comfortable accommodation, it had everything we needed. As we're not very good with technology we couldn't get the DVD player to work and Russell very kindly came over and sorted it out for us - thank you again Russell. We enjoyed the few days we spent here and hope to be back again.

Bonjour je suis très déçu du séjour car il n'y avait pas de piscine comme indiqué dans votre annonce et chauffage dans les chambres à 16 degrés., douche même pas à 10 degrés donc impossible de se laver eau chaude qui laisse à désiré je ne recommande pas cette location l hiver et je demande un dédommagement pour le manque de piscine et j en passe, bien a vous MR LAAREF.

du bon et du moins bon

40mn pour trouver la propriété après être entrés dans la résidence (nuit noire, plan très mal fait, besoin d'aide des voisins à 22h00), le propriétaire ne répond pas à nos appels (pas d'eau chaude) le soir, il vient le lendemain pour nous donner des conseils (cela aurait pu être fait avent l'arrivée); chauffage limité et plus de courant pendant une journée (5 heures pour rétablir une température normale); pour le reste, le chalet est confortable et la situation agréable.

beau point de vue

propriété bien conforme au photo, mais bémol le chauffage pour la salle de bain est programmé à 19h donc pas pratique pour lavé les enfants avant de diné et il se ferme dans la journée pas moyen de le régler, il manque un tancarville pour sécher le linge. les notices sont en anglais dommage sinon pour le matériel tout était ok

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour, le lodge est très bien équipé et joliment décoré, très cosy et ne manque de rien. Petit bémol: l’eau chaude chaude capricieuse de la douche, mais ça ne nous a pas empêché de profiter de notre séjour. Merci Theresa et Russell pour votre lodge.

Great little lodge central to all the major centres for visiting. Town of Vire has everything you could need from an English speaking vet to a Mc D for the kids.

Calme et verdoyant

Le chalet est fonctionnel . Beaucoup d’activités aux alentours et le propriétaire laisse à disposition bcp de jeux. La région est magnifique, avec bcp de choses à visiter. Seuls points négatifs : la nécessité de devoir prendre la voiture pour accéder aux commerces et un petit mystère concernant l’eau chaude de la douche. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce petit paradis Normand

Le Chalet est situé dans un endroit charmant, bucolique et reposant aux abords d'une forêt, surplombant un lac magnifique. Le chalet est très confortable, bien équipé et idéal pour un beau moment en famille. Malheureusement l'eau chaude était plus qu'aléatoire et un ballon d'eau chaude serait sûrement plus fiable qu'une chaudière à gaz un peu vétuste.

A lovely lodge within easy reach of the lake and local town.

Beautiful location amongst similar properties on a nice private park. The lodge was very well equipped, though we did encounter quite a few power cuts during our stay which hampered making use of many of the internal facilities. However, we made good use of the crazy golf and petanque court on site and had some lovely walks around the lake, geocaching, and around the area. The lodge itself was plenty big enough for the five of us with pooch, and very cosy in the evenings. The owners were very helpful by ensuring we had plenty of detail regarding the lodge, site and area before and during our visit. A great base for our holiday. Thank you!

Wonderful rural escape with access to lots nearby.

Wonderful setting over a large lake so lots of opportunity for walking,cycling, kayak. Next to one of the best golf courses in Normandy. We stayed with our 6 year old and had loads of space inside the accommodation. Everything you need in the lodge. Swimming pool is excellent, within 1 min walk and warm. Nearest town Vire is 10 mins away and lovely for a walk round, beer and food. Market day is Friday. Easy to get to a great zoo 30 mins and St Mon Micheal. If you come via Caen it’s all a breeze to find in c1hour. thankyou

La location est à la hauteur de la description : couverts en nombre suffisant, des ustensiles de qualité pour faire la cuisine. La piscine et la playzone étaient super : on en a bien profité ! Dommage que les stores n'occultaient pas les fenêtres : beaucoup de lumière le matin. Terrasse très agréable et place de parking privative.

We are based in the south of England and fell in love with Normandy two years ago. We frequently visit France and are currently learning the language, preparing ourselves for the future, when we intend to run a B&B in Normandy or Brittany.

Why they chose this property

We saw the property advertised on the internet and immediately recognised the area from a previous golfing holiday. We recalled that the course we played was one of the best in Normandy, so we rushed over to view the property and decided on the spot, that it was the place for us, as we both love playing golf, fishing, walking Cycling and Kayaking, (its lovely).
