Perfectly placed for a holiday. Romantic for 2 or great for a family if using the second bedroom downstairs. Stable Cottage is a gorgeous warm, cosy, well appointed stone barn conversion on a farm in the most idyllic location surrounded by fields & woodland. Central location in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Walk down lane to get to Carew Castle, mill pond and visit Carew Inn. Easy access to many award winning golden beaches, tourist attractions, pubs, restaurants and much more. Free wifi. The high quality renovation has oil fired central heating beneath a terracotta tiled floor downstairs. Radiators and a heated towel rail upstairs. First bedroom, upstairs a king size double cotton sheets, fitted cupboards and wardrobe, wool carpet. Beds are made up before arrival. Bathroom has a bath with overhead shower and glass shower screen, a laminated floor. Bath and hand towel per person plus a bath mat and hand towel. Downstairs twin room single bunk beds, fitted wardrobe and wooden floor. The Living space has a fully fitted kitchen, electric oven, 4 ring hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, plus sofas, dining table and chairs, tv, DVD player, coffee table, board games. Freezer and washing machine are in the utility at back of cottage. Plenty of parking including a space under cover in the shed. Safe storage for bikes, kayaks, surf boards etc. We can accommodate horses by arrangement, stabled or grass keep. A private enclosed garden to rear of cottage has outdoor dining table and chairs on gravelled lower area and a raised terrace / yoga deck. There are many grass lawns and other garden areas here on the farm at Cardeeth.

Love the Pembrokeshire outdoor lifestyle. Enjoy travelling to see new locations and meet people, cooking fresh produce, sports and horses are a passion too. We think that we know Pembrokeshire inside out and would be very happy to pass on any information, however you would rather discover the area peacefully for yourselves then you won't be disturbed. The main farmhouse, where we live is about 100m away at the bottom of the farmyard, there many stone buildings but only Stable Cottage has been converted into guest accommodation. New for this year is a romantic boutique retreat self contained Shepherds Hut tucked away in the top of the orchard, B&B is sometimes available in the farmhouse, guests use a front drive. Please enquire if you are a larger group.

We just love the location, its rural but so well placed to access the whole area. After moving to Cardeeth we did up the farmhouse, Jim specialises in renovating and developing stone properties. The pretty stone barn at the top of the farm was perfect for converting into cottage. It was lovingly worked on and completed in 2003. This is a very scenic area. Walk to Carew, look in the castle & mill. Carew Inn does a great pub meal has live music and outside bbq's & a roaring fires in winter. Home made cakes with a cuppa at Juju's French Mill tea rooms are a must. The river estuary is full of wildlife, great for kayaking or paddle boards. Visit Pembroke where King Henry VII was born, Manorbier castle overlooking the beach, many more. There are many events on. Films, plays & shows in The Torch Theatre Lawrenny Arms, food by the river, Quay rooms in Lawrenny for lunches & teas, The famous Cresselly Arms, Cresswell Quay by the river. Tenby & Saundersfoot have award wining beaches, restaurants, pubs and cafes. Narberth has lovely independent shops and cafe culture.

Head west to Barafundle again recently voted top 10 in the World, Freshwater West holds surf championships and always worth a visit, Cafe Mor is there through the summer (fab local 'street food'). Manorbier, Tenby and Saundersfoot are amongst the Blue flag awards winners and so many more magical spots to discover in between. There are many castles. Walk to Carew, an C11th Norman castle. Visit Pembroke where King Henry VII was born, Manorbier castle overlooking the beach, Llawhaden on the 'Landsker' line and many more. There are many events on in the county. Films, plays and shows at The Torch Theatre, Milford Haven. Festivals like Tenby Blues, The Really Wild Festival in St Davids, Big Retreat Wales in Lawrenny. Iron Man Wales and The Long Course Weekend have made this a mecca for triathlon lovers, we are on the bike route and have taken part in both. This is a brilliant base to go training from. Being a rural county there is great local produce available in local farm shops and farmer's markets. Tourist attractions like Heatherton Country Park, Oakwood Theme Park has the biggest wooden roller coaster in Europe, Manor House also known as Annas' Welsh Zoo, doing amazing things for saving the Black Rhino and Sumatran Tigres.
