The cottage has a relaxed spacious open plan country style with wood burner & high quality furnishings also a private patio garden and free parking. Riding Cottage had a extensive refurbishment in 2013.

We are a working family farm and live near the cottage, so if there are any problems, please shout. We have tried to do the cottage as we would like to stay in. Family friendly, fully fitted kitchen, comfy beds and nice smellies to name a few

As the say goes its location, location , location . you are surrounded by peaceful countryside yet only minutes away from Durham and Newcastle. Beamish Museum is only 7 minutes away, some guests have even walked it ! or explore further afield like Hadrians Wall, Alnwick or the coast
