Two small beaches, coastline and rocks approximately 400 yards away. Fishing available from all around Fort Jeudy.
Numerous tourist beaches are within 20 minutes by car.
Maurice Bishop Airport is approximately a 20 minute drive away. We do recommend hiring a car, although taxis and local buses are available. However please note that it would be a good 30 minute walk to the main road/nearest bus stop..and it's very hot! We will arrange a pick up from the airport to take you to the villa and can help arrange car hire and driving licences.
Grand Anse Beach is a 25 minute drive away. This is the main beach on the island with beautiful coral sand & clear blue sea. Some parts front hotels & can get busy but there are still quiet areas to be found. St. George's is vibrant town and must be explored as should the rest of the island, which although only measures 26 miles long by 12 mile wide, is very diverse and in many places, unspoilt. A twenty minute drive up the east coast road is La Sagesse Nature Reserve, great for body boarding!
The three main supermarkets as well as banks, chemists, restaurants & cafes can be found in the Grand Anse area which is a 25 minute drive away. Closer to the house, 10 minutes up the east coast, there is a Food Fair supermarket which stocks most basics. The island can provide;many water sports (including scuba diving & snorkelling) hiking in the rainforest, golf, fishing, river tubing, world class cricket, a busy spice market, many restaurants & lively bars, a chocolate factory, three rum distilleries, turtle watching, fabulous friendly residents and, most importantly, breathtaking beaches with the weather to make the most of them!
About David Marshall
Hi we are David and Mandy Marshall. We came to Grenada in 2002 with our two children because of my job. We soon fell in love with the beautiful island of Grenada and its people. In 2007, having returned to work in the UK, we were lucky enough to be able to buy 76, New Westerhall Point & the love affair continues! Our aim is to retire to the island at some point but, in the meantime, we plan to spend more time in the Caribbean & let others share the fun that is Grenada!
David Marshall purchased this Villa in 2007
Why David Marshall chose Fort Jeudy
We knew immediately when we walked through the door that this would be the home for us!
