Villa dos Duquinhos is a unique villa overlooking the ocean and the picturesque village of Salema Beach, boasting some of the most panoramic ocean and coastal views in the Algarve.

The villa has been completely renovated and refurbished, with air conditioning installed throughout. In the main house, you’ll find three bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. There is also a spacious living room that includes a comfortable lounge and dining area, as well as a fully fitted kitchen.

Additionally, there are two separate apartments:

The first apartment (pool level) features a living/bedroom with three beds and an en-suite bathroom. One of these beds is a sofa that can be converted into a bed.

Down the steps from the pool area, you’ll find the second apartment, offering a living/bedroom with three beds, a kitchen, and an en-suite bathroom. Again, one of the beds is a sofa that can be converted into a bed.

Great stay . The villa was well setup with great decor. The views are amazing. It's a bit of a walk uphill from the main town but well worth it for the view you have.

We had a fabulous week in Salema. The Villa was exactly as advertised and so well equipped which was very welcome given this is not always the case for larger group stays. The view is as stunning as it looks in the photos and the rooms are just as luxurious. Check in and check out was very smooth and contact with the host, Helen, was easy, quick and friendly. It was a 10 minute walk to access the beach, shops, bars and restaurants in the center of Salema all of which were friendly and delicious. The hill up to the villa is a bit of a climb by foot but totally worth it for the view at the top! Overall a lovely stay! Thanks again to Helen and the team.

We had a great stay in the House. We found everything we needed for an amazing family vacation! Several coffee options, electric milk frother, all kind of kitchen utensils, the amazing view, the pool and the spacious villa…We would definitely come again. Consider to bring some warm clothes as it was very windy, especially in the evening.

Wonderful home from home!

Beautiful well equipped spacious villa! Space for 10 of us to relax, cook and eat together, or in smaller groups. View was wonderful, beach a short walk away, great cocktail bars and restaurants also walking distance. We would definitely return!

Amazing house and location. Zero contact with property, I had a problem during check in process, I try to contact them by phone, they did not reply, neither phone back. When we arrived the house was completly opened, everybody could have break in.

really fantastic views

My opinion may be affected by a glass of wine verde we brought from Portugal, but our stay at the end of June was just great. This house is exceptionally situated, with a view of the sea and Salema, has a spacious terrace safely separated from the pool part. With the pool, jacuzzi and a grill, 4 rooms with doublebeds, we (4 families with 4 kids) enjoyed our stay very much. Salema is quiet place - exactly what we wanted and needed. Highly recommended. Great house with great conditions and view

The house is really amazing. The place is beautiful but quite windy. The communication with the host was the lowest part: the number is not always available and the directions to the check in were confusing, which made us lost for some time. Nonetheless, the house is very beautiful with a great pool and view and everything you need for a confortable stay.

Lovely villa , beautiful views but some shortfalls

This is a lovely villa , with beautiful views , but for our family ( 2 adults and 5 teenage kids) there were some issue especially at these rental rates. Firstly, the Internet only works in a few rooms , no internet in apartment or bedroom on the pool deck and the speeds are very slow. TV was supposed to have all internationals problem was there were mostly German and Dutch . Bed linen was stained in some rooms and very worn. The kitchen appliances were poor quality and the utensils were VERY limited with some broken. As an example the BBQ utensils was limited to a charcoal thongs and one food thongs. Very limited serving dishes and bowls , one to be exact , which is bad for a house that sleeps 10 ! We had friends over one night and used a sauspan as a large salad bowl ! Not enough fans around the house, and it was very hot every night

Fantastic house, needs a few things to be a true 5 star

We love the house in our stay in Salema. The house is nice with a great view and a great pool. We had most everything that we needed for our stay. There were some minor things that the owners could easily correct. For a beach vacation house, I would expect there to be a few of the things that you normally take to the beach such as an umbrella and chairs, sand toys for kids. As for cooking, the frying pans are a complete disaster, the Teflon is so scratched up that they are a health hazard. We ended up buying our own pan so we could cook. In addition, the grill, while very traditional is virtually unusable with the wind that is pretty common here. We had plans on grilling a bunch of seafood, but we’re never really able to due to the set up. We also found a need for simple things such as the night lights we left behind, or a starter set of soap and shampoo for the showers. The final thing to note is that the description is not entirely accurate. The house says it has three en suite bedrooms on the main floor, when in fact, there are two, well the third does not have a toilet. The toilet for that bathroom is also powder room. In the two apartments, the kitchens are not really kitchens more of a minibar set up. Just things to know if you’re looking to reserve this in the future. As for anywhere in Salema , I’m not sure you can beat this house. Also, as a side note, there are some great hiking trails that you can access from a little alley on the road to the house.

Magnifique escapade au Portugal

La descprition correspond parfaitement au logement.La cuisine était très bien equipée. Les serviettes sont fournis.La vue est maginifique.
