About the host
Hosted by Tim Wood
Whitley Coach House, was the coach house to a wonderful house built in 1808 of Bath stone. It was listed for rental for the first time in November 2013 and we hope that all guests have a fantastic stay.
Why they chose this property
All the beds are very comfortable, especially the handmade kingsize Lit Bateau bed in the bedroom with a supremely comfortable Vi-Spring mattress, with thousands of pocketed springs.
Although in a historic environment the coach house was built in 1808, you will enjoy a modern, clean and bright environment.
The property has its own private garden with wooden decking and high-quality teak garden furniture for use in the summer. It is set well back from Corsham Road and backs onto an open field with a Cricket pitch during the summer and Whitley golf course behind that, great if you love golf.
Bath is only 20 minutes away with its amazing history, culture and city life. There are fantastic walks all around, great architecture, amazing landscapes for photography, wonderful pubs with real ale and great food if you are into golf great courses, horse riding, The Kennet and Avon Canal, history in abundance, great farm shops nearby including Lowden, Neston and their restaurants. Our local pub is The Pear Tree serving good food most of the year and only 2 minutes by car or a ten-minute walk away.
It is a great place to stay or live, whether you want to stay in the whole time and forget the rest of the world or visit local attractions.
