Well equipped apartment

Lovely week in Portugal. The apartment was well equipped, including the loan of beach equipment. Perfect base for exploring the beautiful sights and beaches along the Algarve coast. Quick response from owner when we needed to contact her.

Superb quality accommodation in ideal location

The description of location and accommodation completely matched advertised listing and was absolutely ideal for 2 couples and or would suit family of four. Would definitely recommend without hesitation to friends/relatives. The accommodation was superbly presented and kitted out with everything that you would require and more including necessary refreshments/groceries ( very much appreciated!) For late arrivals. Ready to book again for next year please.

1st Class apartment!

Our family spent a wondeful week at this apartment. It was the first time that we rent a apartment for holidays using the internet and it couldnt go better. We think we were the first portuguese family that stay there. We only miss the portuguese channels on tv, other wise the apartment had everything we needed and more. The village were very frendly and safe. Burgau is a peaceful palce, ideal for families. In the morning we enjoy the beach and the afertnoon we stay at the pool. Leaving was the hardest part... My six years old son, cried when we had to leave... In the next year we hope to stay in your apartment again.

The location of the apartment to the pool is perfect for young children and it’s safe and secure as you found out. We try to think of all the extras that you will need for a family holiday from a cool bag and plastic wine glasses for the beach to bikes and body boards, even buckets and spades. We use the apartment ourselves many times throughout the year so we like to have the little luxuries like a nice coffee maker and comfy patio chairs. We look forward to see you again next year. Beautiful Burgau Holiday

Fabulous apartment in a great location. All the facilities you could ask for in the apartment plus lots of little extras which made the stay even more special. Internally decorated and furnished stylishly. Huge terrace with best position in the complex in our view. Burgau is a very pretty, small village. Gorgeous beach. Very small restaurants that were all quite heavily booked but come away from the beach and town towards the apartment and there are some bigger restaurants that were easier to book, and both really good. Very easy to get a bus to Luz & Lagos. The cliff top walk to Luz was well worth it. We went straight up the coastal path behind the navigation restaurant. Can’t recommend enough. Great holiday, lovely apartment, location good too.

Outstanding property, exceptionally well equipped.

We stayed for eight days and were exceptionally impressed by the apartment. Beautifully furnished and very well equipped - including bicycles, folding chairs and beach equipment. The patios are as described and ideal for eating out especially the one close to but well screened from the pool. We used the BBQ on the patio and it was truly magical sitting out on a sunny evening and sharing food and wine. Nicola was superb at keeping in touch with us all through our booking giving help and advice and we were really impressed when she followed up on our return home to check if there was anything she could do to improve the experience. Fijne plek om tot rust te komen

Het was even zoeken welk appartement we moesten hebben (E) maar fijne plek met voor en achter veel ruimte om te zitten. Altijd zon en schaduw. Ruime woonkamer en keuken met alles wat je nodig zou kunnen hebben. Grote koelkast, wasmachine, ideaal! Fijne bbq. Eigenlijk niets aan te merken, fijne bedden, rustig. Enige wat ik mistte was een prullenbakje in de badkamers, maar dat zou dan ook het enige zijn. Aanrader, Burgau is schattig klein dorpje met heerlijk strand en van daaruit mooie wandelingen te maken langs de kust. Paar leuke restaurantjes in het dorp en Lagos is vlakbij met grote supermarkten.

L’appartement répondait exactement au confort et au besoin pour une famille.

Nous avons profité de Burgau et ses alentours. C’est un petit village calme et loin des foules, ce que nous apprécions. La plage est superbe et facile D’accès de l’appartement. Tous les petits commerces nous permettent d’être autonomes plusieurs jours.

Sommerurlaub

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr sauber und in einem gepflegten Zustand. Es gab Sonnenschirme, ein bisschen Spielzeug, Strandhandtücher, eine Grundausstattung von Öl und Gewürzen. Für uns auch sehr praktisch , dass wir auf alle Putzsachen Zugriff hatten, da durch unseren Sohn immer viele Krümel rumliegen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt . Der Pool war auch super. Ich fand die ganze WohnAnlage jetzt nicht sehr schön, aber die Wohnung war wirklich super . Die Wohnung ist nur circa 10 Minuten von den kleinen schönen Gassen von Burgau/ Strand entfernt. Zu Fuß auch mit Kleinkind gut zu erreichen. Es gibt zwei kleine Geschäfte die bis circa 19 Uhr auf haben. Der Strand ist wunderschön und sehr Windgeschützt. Für Kinder wirklich toll. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war super, wir konnte auf Nachfrage auch bisschen später abreisen . Wir bedanken uns für die tolle Zeit man merkt, dass sich bei der Pflege der Wohnung wirklich sehr bemüht wird .

Großartiger Sommerurlaub

Wir verbrachten eine großartige Zeit in Burgau. Die Ferienwohnung hat alles, was man sich nur wünschen kann. Sie liegt am Ortsrand, ist daher sehr, sehr ruhig und ist trotzdem nur 5-10min zu Fuß vom Strand entfernt. Für Ausflüge empfiehlt sich ein Auto, welches in der Tiefgarage abgestellt werden kann. Die Terrasse zum Pool ist wirklich ideal in der Wohnanlage gelegen und groß genug, um auch mal den Tag zu Hause zu verbringen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut aufgeteilt und sehr schön, gemütlich und sauber. Sie wurde sogar noch einmal zwischenzeitlich nach einer Woche gereinigt. Ansonsten kann man auch alles selbst nutzen, angefangen vom Staubsauger, über die Waschmaschine und die vielen Strandutensilien. Vielen Dank Nicola für den schönen Aufenthalt und den wirklich sehr netten und zuvorkommenden Kontakt!!! Wir können die Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen.

The perfect holiday home for our young family

Nicola was the most helpful and welcoming host. We had everything we needed and Nicola answered all my questions. A pleasant walk into town - even our two & a half year old managed it. Couldn’t get the kids out of the pool most of the time and having the sun on at least one of the patios at all times of the day was a bonus. Burgau is beautiful but made even better by feeling instantly at home when we arrived. Thank you!!

***Schöner Urlaub in einer gut ausgestatteten Unterkunft ***

Die Wohnung ist geräumig und hat alles was man braucht. Angefangen von der Kaffeemaschine (Kapseln stehen zur Verfügung), über den großen Kühlschrank mit separatem Tiefkühlabteil, die Spülmaschine (Tabs sind ausreichend da), bis zu beiden modern ausgestatteten Badezimmern. An den vielen Kleinigkeiten merkt man, dass die Gastgeber sich alle Mühe geben, ihren Gästen den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. WLAN funktioniert in der gesamten Wohnung einwandfrei. Die Hauptterrasse zur Poolseite ist groß und gut möbliert. Während unseres Aufenthalts im September wurde der Pool von den übrigen Gästen nur selten benutzt; überhaupt war es in der gesamten Anlage angenehm ruhig. Zum kleinen Supermarkt mit angeschlossenem Café (SB) geht man 5 Minuten; in weiteren 5 Minuten ist man am Strand. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin vor und während des Aufenthalts (auf Englisch) war sehr angenehm inkl. umfangreicher Restauranttips.

A casa é exatamente como na descrição. Tem acabamentos muito bom, é limpo e muito agradável para descansar. Ss camas são confortáveis e a cozinha tem tudo o que é necessário. O aldeamento é bem cuidado e a piscina limpa. Gostámos muito de ficar, deu para explorar a zona que é muito bonita e descansar na piscina ao final do dia. Recomendo!

Lovely apartment on edge of Burgau

The photos and description on VRBO is very accurate. We liked the location as it was a short walk to the town centre and beach. The decks were spacious and comfortable with good exposure to sunlight and shade depending on the time of day. We did have a maintenance issue after checking in and our Host was very professional and helpful in resolving the issue.

Relaxing experience in a first class apartment.

Everything on hand - lovely appearance as you walk through the front door. Bed so comfy. Lovely furnishings and the little extra things such as salt, pepper, cooking oil, toilet rolls were all much appreciated. Also cooking utensils excellent should you wish to cook in apartment. Also only a short walk to Burgau and its many restaurants. Would highly recommend apartment.

Lovely apartment in peaceful setting

We stayed for two weeks and really enjoyed the apartment and location. The apartment is a home from home, so comfortable and well equipped. Being right next to the pool was a big plus for our boys. And the location is superb. Just 5 minute walk to everything - restaurants, shops and the beach. Burgau is a gorgeous little village, undeveloped, quiet (first 2 weeks of July anyway).

lovely apartment in great location

we try to book quality rentals and this one met all of our requirements. It was spacious and fitted out with quality furniture and fittings. the sun was there all day if required and the pool was lovely. Burgau is lovely and we preferred it compared to the other resorts nearby , the restaurants are great and the owners always have time to talk. would we come back ? . yes would be the answer

We have owned this apartment since new and visit Burgau several times a year. It is important to us that our guests really enjoy our apartment, and we understand that the quality of the accommodation has a significant impact on their holiday. Therefore, we work hard to maintain high standards and ensure that everything is as good or better than our guest's expectations. When we go on holiday, we expect good quality, clean accommodation; we also like to have those little extras that make all the difference. This is the benchmark we use to ensure our guests have an enjoyable stay and remember our apartment for all the right reasons.

Why they chose this property

Why Burgau? You only ask that question if you have never been to Burgau before. Although on the Algarve its worlds away from the busy hustle and bustle of the highly populated areas near Faro. Burgau is a working fishing village and is on the edge of a national park Access to the west coast beaches is easy and the lovely town of Lagos is on the doorstep.

What makes this property unique

This property was chosen because it is modern and spacious. The position of the apartment within the complex is perfect for looking after young children as it is near the pool. The apartment benefits from full sun and shade terraces all day long. We love waking up in the morning and from our bed and being able to look out onto the private patio area with the sun flooding into the room. Of course we could pull the shutters down and the room would be dark but at least we have the option.
Set in beautiful gardens and walking distance to the beach and many good quality restaurants it fits our needs just perfectly.

Two good sized patio areas one at the front near the pool and the other at the rear overlooking open countryside and leading from the bedrooms. There are also patio doors from the living room/kitchen onto the front patio and at the rear two patio doors one for each bedroom leading onto the rear patio.
In the morning the rear patio has full sun which moves round to the front patio during the day. Giving the option of sitting in shade for full sun all day long.
We love having breakfast on rear patio and the front patio is great for bbq's
The apartment is light and and spacious just perfect for a family holiday
