LA NAPOULE Lovely Garden Studio by The Sea facing S/W so plenty of sun

Share a piece of our paradise. Location location location – La Napoule is a “little gem” that lies in the heart of the French Riviera, just along the coast from Cannes. A favoured part of southern France. It has its own marinas, beaches, castle, golf course, rivers and railway station – all within a few minutes walk from the studio. The village has shops and restaurants, certainly TWO dozen within walking distance. There is also a weekly market, a local supermarket and a newsagent that sells international papers. Take the two-tier air-conditioned train and hug the coastline journeying to Italy (1 hr +) via Cannes, Juan-les-Pins, Nice, Antibes and Monaco to name but a few. Journey in the other direction to Marseilles. There are some other wonderful inland villages and scenery too. Nice, Mougins, Valbonne, Biot, Ez, St Paul de Vence and St Tropez are all nearby. Hire a boat or take the ferry and nip over to the islands that lie opposite or anchor off the numerous nearby bays. There is no need to hire a car. There is so much to do within walking distance and there is an excellent bus and train service. You can walk along the coast to Cannes in just over an hour with the option of taking the bus (one Euro fifty) or the train (two stops) for your return. We provide lots of information on where to go and what to see. Mandelieu La Napoule is the capital of the Mimosa tree (beautiful yellow flowers in Spring) and it has it's own festival in February with a pageant and fair. There are numerous colourful floats and bunches of mimosa flowers are thrown to the crowd. In mid-January there is the lemon festival in Menton, which you can get to by train. In the Spring there is Tennis at Monaco and also the Grand Prix, again easily accessed by train. In the summer months there are numerous firework displays along the coast and we also have our own little outdoor theatre within a short walk from the studio. FREE Wi-Fi is provided.

Lovely Studio

Our stay at Paul’s and Sue‘s Studio was amazing! They helped us with everything and we had a great time in Mandelieu la Napoule. The studio is very well located to the beaches and to the City Centre, everything in walking distance. The studio is very nicely decorated and has everything you need!

Great property the location was superb exactly how described , its clean and well maintained the host had a housekeeper who did everything possible to make our stay a memorable stay. Hübsches Domizil in toller Lage

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Gartenhaus umgeben von mediterranen Pflanzen. Die Vermieter Paul und Sue sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es fehlt an nichts! Die Lage ist toll und man kann zum Strand und auch in die kleine Stadt laufen. Es gibt dort Restaurants und alles für den täglichen Bedarf. Wir haben unsere 8 Tage zu jeder Zeit genossen und hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub.

L extérieur et l emplacement sont les Points forts de cette location. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine. Propreté et équipements irréprochables. La seule critique serait que le studio est très petit et sans fenêtre qui permettait de faire un courant d'air en période chaude. Il est équipé d'un ventilateur indispensable pour dormir la nuit,. Merci à Paul et Sue qui sont très gentils et attentifs au bien-être de leurs hôtes

Unser Aufenthalt in Mandelieu

Ich habe mit meinem kleinen Sohn hier eine Woche bei heißem Wetter verbracht. Zum Glück gab es in dem liebevoll ausgestatteten Zimmer einen Ventilator. Nachts konnte man bei geöffneter Tür schlafen, da es ein Insektenrollo gab. Der Garten ist so traumhaft idyllisch wie auf den Fotos. Paul und Sue haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und standen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. In einigen Gesprächen konnten wir uns ein wenig kennen lernen und es war interessant, was Paul und Sue uns erzählen konnten, wenngleich auch mein Sohn viel zu erzählen hatte. ;) Am Abreisetag hatte dieser Geburtstag und die beiden haben sich liebevoll um eine kleine Überraschung gekümmert, obwohl das natürlich nicht nötig gewesen wäre. Insgesamt kann man sich bei Paul und Sue einfach nur wohlfühlen! Herzlichen Dank dafür.

Unser Aufenthalt in La Napoule

Wir hatten einen schönen und sehr heißen Aufenthalt in La Napoule. Paul und Sue waren sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Wenn etwas benötigt wurde, konnte man sich problemlos an sie wenden, da das Studio an ihr Haus angrenzt. Gelegentlich haben wir mit ihnen abends auf Terrasse bei einem Glas Rosé zusammen gesessen. Der Garten ist nebst Outdoorkochstelle hübsch gestaltet. Gegen Mücken half ein Fliegengitter, das im Türrahmen verbaut war und bei Bedarf heruntergezogen werden konnte. Leider ist die Tür, neben einem mobilen Klimagerät, die einzige Möglichkeit zum Lüften. Insgesamt haben wir tolle zwei Wochen dort verbracht. Liebe Grüße Philipp+Vanessa

Ein mit unglaublich viel Liebe gestaltetes kleines aber feines Feriendomizil. Ein bezaubernder Garten mit Outdoorküche, einfach nur toll! We had a lovely/great 2 weeks holiday time ! Paul & Sue are kind people and help us a lot with many things to know the beautiful village, beach, area etc. Their studio and garden is also a nice place to be and have everything you need for a holiday. The area in this corner from the Cote a zur (also near Cannes) is so beautiful to have a great relax time. Thank you Paul & Sue ..we sure shell come back again ! Fantastic relaxing break!

We have recently returned from a very relaxing 10 day stay at The Studio, everything about it was fantastic. The area of Mandalieu caters for everyone and there is loads to explore if you want to go further afield. There is a large supermarket within walking distance if you want to cater for yourself or some excellent restaurants and cafes if you don't, there are a couple of beaches a short stroll away or you can wander round the harbour. Paul and Sue are great hosts and really welcome you to their property, they are always on hand if you need anything, they have a great knowledge of the area and are genuinely nice people. We will definitely be returning.

Gorgeous studio!

We had a wonderful stay in the studio. The village is lovely, there are lots of great restaurants, boulangeries and everything else you might need. It is a short walk from the studio. The studio is beautifully furnished and the outside sitting area is wonderful. The owners are really friendly people who provided us with all the information we need, especially directions to get there in the darkness - thank you Paul! We went into Nice for the antiques market on Monday morning but mainly spent our time around the village and surrounding area. Our two favourite restaurants in the village were La Perla Nera and Le Neapolis. it was a lovely relaxing stay, we would would hope to return and would certainly recommend this property.

Beautiful Studio

My Husband and I stayed in this beautiful Studio for a week in May and we had a wonderful stay. The location of the studio is perfect, it's only a short walk to the beach, the train station, the amazing restaurants and all the little shops, it was lovely to get fresh bread and croissants from the bakery in the mornings. The studio is decorated so nicely and the garden is beautiful. Mandelieu La Napoule is stunning and suitable for all ages and with the train station so close you can visit so many more great places with ease, we went to Cannes for the day (only 10 minutes on the train). Also the owners of this property are so friendly and helpful we were given detailed directions to Nice St Augustin station so when we arrived at the airport we got on the free shuttle bus (about a 3 minute ride) then we followed the directions and after a short walk we arrived and the train took us directly to Mandelieu La Napoule. We had such a great holiday and we hope to return next year.

Sue and Paul originate from Cheshire but now live in the south of France. We have had a property on the French Riviera for 15 years. Sue and Paul still have connections in the UK and spend their summers and Christmas' there. After Xmas we try and escape somewhere for a few weeks varied holiday. In France they love all that the south coast has to offer. The numerous sandy bays and beaches. The pretty villages both seaside and inland. The long, lazy and relaxed lunches with a glass of the local Rose. The buzz of Cannes, Nice and St Tropez. The outdoor markets selling local produce. Sea trips to the nearby islands with friends. See for yourselves!!!

Why they chose this property

La Napoule offers us everything, but in the main is an unkown gem. We are on the edge of Cannes, but do not suffer from the mass of holiday makers and resulting traffic jams of Antibes, Juan Les Lins and Cannes itself. Most days we do not need a car as there is so much on our doorstep. The village is only a few minutes walk away, as are the beaches, restaurants and shops. We love walking down to the marina and having a coffee and croissant by the bobbing boats. There are lovely coastal and inland walks from the villa which we try and do regularly. We sometimes get the local train and go and explore Antibes, Nice or Monaco. Othertimes we will hop on the bus and go to the markets in Cannes or just sit and people watch on the Croisette. We are never short of things to do!

What makes this property unique

The property is located in a lovely backwater of the village with no through traffic. The sea is literally a few minutes walk away as is the village centre. We can travel to the airport by train, so no need for lifts or taxis. We have a great selection of restaurants and bars and we also have our own seaside Chateau, which is open to the public. We have wonderful coastal walks or river walks - all directly from the house. We also have 2 x golf courses on our doorstep and 2 x marinas. There is also a nautical centre, within walking distance, where you can hire dinghies, weight boards, kayaks etc..
