We spent one night at this wonderful property. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.
This cabin is perfect for a trip to the mountains. It’s close to down town with a cute coffee shop in walking distance. The cabin was clean and cozy. We will be staying here again!
Great property. Super cute cabin with an abundance of all the amenities needed. Great walking distance to area restaurants and shops. Host was very communicative and great overall. Highly recommend!
We booked a trip to the hot springs and decided to rent a cabin not at the resort. It was a great decision because we had fun at the hot springs but the cabin offered us the in town experience! It was well stocked and very clean and a great location for any activity in the area. We also hiked to Lost Lake which was very close.
Very clean and basically had everything we needed! Although no AC, we were able to keep fairly cool. The location is offset a bit from a main, busy road, but with windows closed hardly noticeable! Easy walking distance to the park and eating areas… (a lovely new restaurant/bar (ADC) is opening up soon just a couple blocks away… we even got a tour!) All the beds are very comfortable.
Lisa was very communicative and helped us find great food in Buena Vista. There were all the niceties that some hosts don’t put out, like coffee, towels, shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent, etc. Check in and check out was so easy. We would definitely stay there again and it is very walkable to the brewery, restaurants, parks, etc.
Clean, quiet, close to everything we wanted to do and liked that it was an easy walk to downtown. Host was communicative, accommodating and provided great recommendations. Would stay here again.
The cabin was perfect for our family. The kids enjoyed watching the deer walk by in the afternoons. The location was perfect as it was close to everything.
The owner was very responsive and helpful. The cabin itself was very clean and perfect for our family to enjoy our stay. Would definitely stay here again if we were to stay in BV again.
Beautiful cozy clean cabin with a gorgeous rock fireplace great location very charming. The host was exceptional. Great communication woke up to deer in the yard would highly recommend it.

What makes this property unique
Buena Vista is a small town that sits in a gorgeous valley surrounded by public lands on all sides. Thus, most of its attractions are outdoor recreational activities. In the winter, enjoy skiing at either Monarch Ski Area or Copper Mountain Resort. In the summer, enjoy whitewater rafting down the Numbers or Brown's Canyon, both runs are on the Arkansas River and are very close to Buena Vista. In July, Buena Vista has an Art Walk when all of the galleries stay open late, offer wine and appetizers, and feature local artists. In August, Buena Vista has a festival called Gold Rush Days, which has craft vendors, a parade, and a pack-burro race (the only sport indigenous to rural Colorado). Year round you can enjoy Cottonwood Hot Springs or Mount Princeton Hot Springs, where you can actually sit in the river where the hot springs come out of the ground! Make sure to check the Buena Vista Chamber of Commerce web site for any local events that might be happening while you are in town.
