Beautiful and calm villa with outstanding view in a rustic setting. We loved walking through the olive groves to Podgora harbour. Turn right at Marina and go round the corniche to white pebble beaches, shaded by pine trees and a lovely taverna.

Fantastic property with plenty of space. The views from the sun deck, the main bedroom and the living area were unbeatable. All facilities were excellent. Needed the air con as we were there in the heat wave. There’s a walkable path to Podgora, which took about 30 mins, but was quite a steep walk back.

Nice house in a quite place

Old nicely built and renovated house few minutes drive to the beach and the small city. The pool is wonderful for the kids (and adults). The serious problem is the only one air conditioner which is not sufficient to cool the place, especially when the air temperature was 34 degrees.

Beautiful stay at Villa Heritage

The Villa was beautiful with plenty of space with older teens. Wonderful views across to Hvar and Brac. A joy to open the shutters every morning! The drive up from Podgora is very windy with lots of hairpin bends. It is not an easy walk to the village especially in the heat and the walk back is very tough. It took about 20-25 minutes. There are a few other villas nearby but we were not overlooked. Kitchen was well kitted out including plenty cleaning products.Check-in and out was very easy. Davor, the host, was very helpful when we had questions. We had a bit of a situation away from the villa one day and we reached out to Davor for assistance. He was very responsive and helped us resolve things quickly.

This Villa is just incredible! Delicious holidays for all our family!

This place is just incredible! Time flied so quickly when we were at the Villa. It was delicious to spend our holidays in this villa. We loved it, we felt so well! We enjoyed everything: the garden, the pool, the terrasse for sunsets, the place to eat outside, the main room, the bedrooms, the details in decoration everywhere in the Villa, the light in the house when it is so shiny outside and we just let the shutters almost closed. The incredible view on the Adriatic. You felt all the traditions in the villa, mixed with all the top confort. Beds are excellent! Bathrooms huge and very comfortable. So perfect!!! Thank you Davor for all your advises for restaurants, places to visit, and your kindness. We will definitively recommend your Villa to all the person wanting to discorver Podgora, Split and Mostar regions. Very easy from this place. Our teenagers loved the Villa and the region, we had the chance to appreciate all sea activities in Podgora, also Biokovo park just behind the Villa. Do not hesitate, come and discover it!

Second Visit at Villa

Everything about the villa is just the best. The villa itself is amazing .. Every corner with its beautiful touches, restored properly to every single detail.The villa is spacious, tastefully furnished, very well equipped. The gardens and pool area are delightful. The living and dining areas are perfect for a family, with loads of space to rest, relax and cater. There is an outside dining area which enables you to take advantage of the lovely weather, dining al fresco. Views from the upper terrace overlooking islands are amazing. Thank you Davor for a most wonderful vacation destination and experience. Highly recommend this place for any trip to Croatian coast.

Von wegen luxuriös…. ?!?!?

Villa Jan liegt in den Bergen oberhalb von Podgora. Die Anfahrt gestaltet sich recht schwierig, aber nach einiger Zeit kommt man mit den engen Straßen am Hang gut klar. Außen befindet sich ein Pool und eine Terrasse mit Blick über das Meer, was man als gut bezeichnen kann. Die Liegen und Schirme sind alt und haben ihre besten Zeiten hinter sich. Die Beschreibung des Hauses zur Ausstattung ist alles andere als zutreffend. Man sucht die Designer Möbel, die Klimaanlage, die leider nur im Wohnzimmer vorhanden ist. Wenn es warm ist, ist es nicht möglich zu schlafen. Der Rest des Hauses ist nicht klimatisiert, die Möbel alt, abgewohnt und alles andere als bequem. Die Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig!! Schimmel im Kühlschrank! Der Vermieter lebt in Zagreb und wenn die Dame für die Reinigung kommt, muss man anwesend sein. Alles in allem viel zu teuer für das was es bietet!!

Sehr schöne Villa, in toller Lage

Wir waren Anfang September mit unseren zwei Kindern da. Die Kommunikation mit Davor war immer sehr nett und Fragen wurden schnell und kompetent beantwortet. Die Villa hat einen tollen Pool und auch der Stil wie das Haus gebaut und eingerichtet ist, hat uns sehr gefallen, genauso wie der tolle Blick aufs Meer. Insgesamt ein super Aufenthalt, wir waren sehr zufrieden!! Eine einzige Kleinigkeit, die wahrscheinlich alle anderen nicht so stört war der Grill.. für mich als begeisterten BBQ Fan, war der Campingaz Grill, wo die Brenner und die Regelung nicht mehr gut funktioniert haben eine kleine Enttäuschung. Ein günstiger Weber Gasgrill, oder sogar ein einfacher Outdoor Grill mit Holzkohle hätte mehr Spaß gemacht. Aber wie gesagt, vielleicht spielt das bei anderen keine so große Rolle und alles andere, war wirklich perfekt, daher auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert und alle Sterne!! ;-) Davor thank you very much for all!

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus in toller Lage

Es hat an nichts gefehlt!!! Die Villa und der Garten sind mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet bzw. angelegt, so dass man jeden Urlaubstag genießen kann. Besonders positiv, die verschiedenen Sitzecken/Terrassen im Garten für Sonne oder Schatten, Privatsphäre oder Meeresblick. Drumherum viel Ruhe und Natur, Möglichkeiten zum Wandern in den Olivenhainen. Zum Meer ca 45 min zu Fuss und den Nationalpark Biokovo auch gut erreichbar. Es hätte nicht besser sein können! Freundlicher und zuvorkommender Vermieter, der für Fragen telefonisch immer erreichbar war. Thank you, Davor! It was a great and amazing stay!

The villa is nestled amongst other old rustic buildings and has panoramic views of the beautiful coastline and marina. The villa is well equipped and designed to a high standard. We loved the open plan kitchen/lounge area and really enjoyed alfresco dining by the pool.

Lovely villa with amazing sea views

We stayed 2 weeks at the villa with family of 4 adults and 1 child. The villa is really well equipped and beautifully designed inside and out. The bathrooms are extremely well presented. The pool and outside spaces are well maintained and the sea and mountain views from the roof terrace are spectacular. We spent every evening up there to take in the beautiful sunsets. It was extremely hot during our visit and although the house has air conditioning, there is none in the bedrooms which made nights rather hot especially in the master suite. Otherwise we had a very enjoyable stay in the villa and would highly recommend it.

Idyllic, relaxing and a beautiful location

We had the most relaxed holiday ever with a nice mix of trips out and chilling by the pool. The villa had everything we needed and was lovely and spacious even with the six of us (four adults, two kids). The outdoor areas were great for sunshine or shade, but sun set champagne and scrabble on the top terrace area was my favorite! Unfortunately our week was not long enough - too much to see and do and wanted to spend longer relaxing at the villa.

An ideal villa for our family holiday. The villa was really exceeding our expectations at all standpoints .Bedrooms were all beautifully presented, bathrooms great, lounge room spacious and cool. Fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, and laundry plus quality linen and plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware. The pool was well maintained, as were the gardens, terrace and outdoor patio areas. It was a unforgettable week in Dalmatia, a lovely villa with relaxing pool and beautiful views, we have enjoyed the peace, the quiet and the tranquility. It has been a truly wonderful and relaxing. We loved our stay here. Highly recommended!

Fabulous stay in Podgora in Jans villa. Description and photos are accurate, and the property is very well maintained with focus on all necessary details.Wonderful surroundings, fabulous views and generous hospitality all encountered during our stay at villa . You cannot fail to be bowled over by the breathtaking view on arrival at 100 year villa. Situated in the hill outside Podgora village you can see the beautiful Croatian sea and islands for miles. The villa itself is spacious and achingly stylish with all the amenities you could wish for. It was hot in early June and it was a joy to sunbathe and swim in the beautiful pool then explore all the delights of Podgora and surrounding villages, later in the day when it cooled down a bit. The barbecue area was also a hit when we felt like staying in. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough, it is just gorgeous!

Where can I possibly begin to describe this amazing little haven in Podgora, that they call 100 year old villa, nestled comfortably with breathtaking views We were at 100 year old villa for one week and it was absolutely amazing! Beautiful beautiful beautiful! So peaceful, so comfortable, and there's nothing more that you could possibly want while you are there. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to spend on the property, because we took alot of day trips. Our week in 100 year old villa was one that we will never forget and I came away with a very special feeling and love for Croatia. The Best!

Amazing place

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our kids and grandkids at 100 year old villa. We couldn't have chosen a better spot. We were warmly welcomed by the owner who quickly made us feel at home. In no time, the kids were in the pool, the adults sitting with a glass of wine. The villa and grounds more than met our expectations. The villa was spotless, the rooms spacious and each one unique, the grounds and pool well maintained. Perfect!

Great place

We had the good fortune of spending a week in 100 Year Old Villa back in July of 2015, and I have to say that this experience was something out of a movie! Absolutely spectacular, gorgeous, and it really captured Croatia in such a beautiful way. Every detail was calculated and done with care! The grounds were impeccable, the views breathtaking and the setting just incredible. Thank you, we will be back. David & family
