About this property

Beautifully converted barn ideal for 2/6 people couples or families,golf,cycling

Superb,well appointed 4/6 person gite.spacious kitchen leading to dining room and separate lounge with wood burner.From the dining area take the stairs to mezzanine. The first of 2 bedrooms straight ahead with ensuite and views over countryside. Across mezzanine ,to 2nd bedroom with family bathroom next door. The gite offers a very open comfortable area & has tv,dvd and wifi for those who need it.
The kitchen opens out onto a private terrace and BBQ area,with table and seating for everyone ,with sun loungers around the private pool. The private fenced garden is large ,plenty of space for tennis or cricket and generally wearing out the children. There is also a table tennis table and swing ball.
Bikes are available from Bike hire direct ,they will deliveryour bikes and accessories to the gite when required.Please ask me for details when booking , I can arrange for the bikes to be there on your arrival.

Why they chose this property

e came over to France for a weekend break searching for properties, fell in love with this place in need of serious renovation and bought it that weekend and have never really looked back. We chose the area due to Limoges being only 25 mins away with an international airport flying to 5 UK towns. We started renovating the barn opposite our house in 2007 , taking our time to get it right.We are situated in the grounds of a fabulous chateau ,a working limousin cattle farm. The views overlooking the Vienne valley are amazing.
Chabanais the nearest town with al the amenities is only a 5 minutes drive away

Les Rossignols is located in a rural peaceful location with private pool.Very well located for everything you need for a relaxing chilled holiday ,cycling ,walking ,a great place for a golfing holiday suitable for both families and couples with swimming and water sports on the nearby lakes with great sandy beaches only 10 minutes away .Great bars and restaurants nearby some within walking distance
Beautiful ancient cities of Angoulême, limoges, Cognac where you can visit the cognac houses.
Our gîte is situated in a very quiet rural setting, making you feel relaxed and very chilled
