Paulo is an excellent host. Very nice accommodations. Location is in walking distance to everything you need. This is our second time staying at this location. We will book again on our next stay.

The only desenvantge was we add a lady with ashma and was not mention that there is 39 steps to get to apartment that was the only dow falt

Hello Joe, Thank you for your review. When it is not mentioned in the listing that there is an elevator, it means that there is no elevator, take that tip for future bookings. Another tip: we did not mention that there are 39 steps but it is mentioned in the title of the listing that the apartment is in the 2nd floor. In Europe the ground floor does not count as a floor, so 2nd floor here = 3rd floor in USA/Canada. If you have a person with ashma, then you should be more careful looking at the listings before booking. If you look at our reviews in other platforms, most people don't compain about the stairs so I advise you take a good look and use the messaging system provided by the same platforms to ask questions before booking. Highly recommend this breezy apartment

If I ever return to Terceira, I would definitely want to stay here, or at another of this host's properties, again. The apartment was very spacious and even offered a full kitchen and laundry facilities. We were personally welcomed by the host, who pointed out all the great perks of the space. Glass doors opened fully to let in the sea breeze and we had a view of the bay too. The location was perfect for us, just a quick stroll from the beach and waterfront restaurants, and right next to a grocery store and a bus stop from which we could easily ride to Angra or the airport. The town looks bigger on a map, but everything is actually really close to each other.

My name is Paulo Gomes, I am on the right side of the profile photo. I am a native of Terceira Island, I was born in 1982 and I'm an environmental engineer. At the moment I am working as a holiday rental manager.
I am passionate about nature and particularly by sea, I love to surf and sail on my boat.
I am also passionate about music, I started playing guitar at age 14 and never stopped. I Currently play in 3 groups.
I also love traveling, I have had the privilege of visiting almost half of Europe and to visit countries such as Brazil and the United States of America.
Like almost all natives of Terceira island, I like to treat well those who visit us and show the best of what this land has to offer.

In the photograph on the left side is my father, Ilídio Gomes 77 years. Together we manage apartment with the goal of providing our guests an unforgettable experience.
Ilídio is also a lover of the sea and nature, loves to fish and sail. He also loves playing music and was one of the founders of the oldest band of the Azores and one of the oldest in Portugal and perhaps the world - Os Sombras.
Ilídio also has a talent for the fine arts, he's a painter.
