A lovely peaceful cottage, you need a car as it is 1.5 miles up a single track road. Owners were kind and friendly, left a welcome basket of food and popped in to see us early evening the day we arrived and just before we left. Didn't meet Ellie but spoke to her on the phone and she helped with a couple of questions I had before we left home. The cottage was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. There was plenty of information about places to visit which really helped as it was our first visit to Shropshire. Stunning scenery, especially if you enjoy hill walking.

The perfect spot

We found Goosepond to be a really lovely place for two people. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped, there was a welcome pack of bread, milk, eggs, butter and cake, and a friendly and helpful welcome from the owner Ellie. The location was just perfect for us, being conveniently situated for all the great places there are to explore in Shropshire.
