Casita Calypsito, Playa Dorada / Beachfront Beauty!

Escape to Calypso's Vacation Rentals (20-25 minutes from the Malecon) 20 minutes to Walmart . This property offers privacy and endless miles of beach..

Casita Calypso is perfect for families (4 guests max) or a couple!

This 2 bedroom/2 bath casita has an upgraded kitchen with new cabinets and granite, upgraded bathrooms, open living space, massive outdoor patio area, and is securely gated with security cameras (2) in the back and front (security cameras are turned off during your scheduled stay. We respect your privacy!).

Tile flooring, stainless fridge, gas stove, large flat screen SmartTV (no cable access) plenty of movie entertainment and internet access. NOTE, there’s no hot tub. Due to a VRBO issue, that amenity is not available despite it (maybe) being marked.

Brand new Mini Split A/C units (3 units) installed in 2021 and as recently as 2022.

We are a pet friendly (additional fee) and kid friendly rental!

ACCESS:
No early check-in and/or late check-out without owner's written approval. This is strictly enforced.

WATER USAGE:
Water is trucked in so we ask guests to have a conservative mind-set. As part of the rental rate, we provide 1400 gallons of water every 3 days. Excessive use of water (requiring it to be filled sooner than 3 days) will result in an additional fee of $40, per fill.

PETS are permitted with payment of the pet fee.

Great weather lots of shells walking on the pristine beach. Great house. 5 star Instant hot water great fridge great heaters. Owners are awesome. Highly recommend this for people that want to get away from the hustle and bustle

I had an incredible stay at this beachfront casita! The location was unbeatable—just steps from the sand with stunning ocean views right from the patio. The home was clean, cozy, and exactly as described, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and thoughtful touches like beach chairs and towels.The host was friendly and responsive, offering great local recommendations and making check-in seamless. Me and my fiancé loved our stay here. This beautiful home is right on the beach. For four days we barely saw anyone and had the beach to ourselves. If you are looking for a secluded place to avoid the crowds look no further!

Perfect getaway

Everything was clean and in good condition. The proximity to the beach was amazing and it’s not too close to the resorts so we got the beach mostly to ourselves. It was also easy to find and I love that our car was safe behind a locked gate.

We've stayed at numerous places in Puerto Peñasco over the years, and this casita is the best. Beachfront, clean, cozy. The owners are great to communicate with. The house is just the right size for our family and has good amenities. We were already looking at dates to return before we had even left.

Simple and Quiet

This is our 3rd stay at the Casita and my wife and I love it. If you are looking for a simple, quiet rental away from. The hustle of Rocky Point and Los Conchas this is the place for you. Mark and Kelly are GREAT hosts!!!

Owners are semi-retired living in Scottsdale, Arizona. Mark enjoys golf, volunteering at church (CCV) and traveling. Kelly enjoys managing the vacation rentals (and will be your main contact during your stay), volunteering at various animal rescues and traveling.

Playa Dorada beach is great for families and couples wanting to get away and enjoy a quiet week/weekend.

Why they chose this property

Being away from the Malecon allows guests to enjoy nature up close: we've seen seahorses (so cool!), octupus, turtles (from time to time), and dolphins. This is a kid and pet friendly property and allows parents to enjoy a cocktail on the patio while watching their kiddos from the covered patio. Life can't get any better!

We come down to Rocky Point regularly and have built our dream home right next door, Casa Calypso.

What makes this property unique

Rocky Point visitors who come down for the parties will likely pass on this property, as we are located in a group of houses. If you enjoy the sounds of the ocean and serenity then Playa Dorada is for you.
