What a fabulous casa! The separation of bedrooms provided great privacy for everyone. We spent most of our time in the outside area & Esperanza served us several incredible meals in the outdoor area. We all loved the open air arrangement & had a lovely breeze most evenings. The view is as good as it gets! The hill is steep but short if walking home from town and we all embraced the challenge & felt better for making the walk. However, taxis/ubers are plentiful. Hosts were incredibly responsive and we all agree that Esperanza could cook for us anytime - amazing & such a treat for me! Fidel was superb in his role as property manager & lined up several tours & large vans for trips to golf courses and the airport. The 7 of us had a fantastic week at Casa Lorenzo! Hope to back someday. Just incredible hospitality all around!

Beautiful Home

This property was perfectly suited to my extended family of 10. Each of our four mini groups had their own private space and bathroom PLUS wonderful community areas. The cook was SUCH a luxury!!! And her meals were SUPER delicious. We could have done with better lighting and a bit larger pool, but overall it was a WONDERFUL stay!!

Perfect vacation

I wanted a beautiful and relaxing getaway for my friends and me to celebrate my 30th birthday. Casa Lorenzo was everything I hoped for and more. Kind and helpful staff, beautiful views and the house is gorgeous. Esperanza’s food was delicious. The house is up a steep hill, but we had an easy time getting to downtown with uber and walking. The location is perfect if you want privacy and quiet but also want to be close to downtown PV. Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely wonderful home, very unique

We all had a wonderful time. Many special memories. Esperanza was amazing as well as Fidel. We love the neighborhood as we have stayed 2 blocks away a few years ago. The views were fabulous. The property was like our own botanical garden. Would definitely recommend staying here. We had 12 people here from age 6 to 96. Everything was spotlessly clean and the meals were better than restaurants.

Fabulous house and staff

Our family of 6 met up with another family of 4 with plenty of room for all at Casa Lorenzo. Esperanza's cooking is not to be missed, and Fidel's connections will help you make the best of your activities. The pool, deck, and communal spaces were plenty large for our group, and the bedrooms were immaculately cleaned daily. Top vacation spot with locals to help make your logistics easy. We will definitely return.

Unbelievable views and unparalleled service!

I stayed for a week at Casa Lorenzo with a group of friends. The whole experience was more than I could have imagined. The house is impeccably decorated and the views are out of this world. Esperanza and Fidel, the staff, were great. Not only did they offer great service at the house but Fidel went out of his way to set up a private boat tour for our group to go snorkeling. Overall great experience, can't wait to go back!

Friend Get Away

We were looking for the perfect get away house and we found it! We were greeted by Esperanza and Fidel who made sure that we were taken care of immediately and welcomed us with fresh drinks and homemade snacks (the best guacamole in town!) We enjoyed many nights from our balcony watching the sunset and swimming. Would come back anytime! All destinations are easy to get too - Fidel also helped us to book a day boat trip which was sublime and we ended up on total accident seeing humpbacks which ended our trip perfectly!

Beautiful home with views

We stayed with our family of five and friends who had a family of four. Everything was even better than we had hoped for and we enjoyed countless hours in the pool and looking out over the bay. The staff was extremely nice and helpful and the food was outstanding!!! One thing to note for families is that there are three separate living areas. The lower level doesn’t have inside access to the main house, which can be difficult. This took some rearranging of kids the first night, but was not a deal breaker at all. I would highly recommend Casa Lorenzo to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

Luxury and relaxation in an urban setting

This is by far the most beautiful home we have stayed in, in part because of the kindness and competence of the Esparanza, Fidel and the house staff. Esparanza and Yareli's cooking was outstanding; just an incredible treat and so fabulous not to have to cook. From relaxing in the pool after a walk down to the Malecon to the beautifully decorated rooms to the many special spaces to reflect or enjoy the stunning view and sunsets or the many birds and dragon flies enjoying the flowering trees, we could not have been happier. Our kids are 16, 20 and 24 and each could have their own space, which was a huge positive. The walk into town is a very steep descent and there are also many steps to get up to the house if you don't have your own car (to drive up the steep driveway to the house) so the more fit you are, the better. We loved walking into town and feeling immersed in the teeming diversity of the city; among the home's assets is it is not in a resort-style, manicured environment. The cacophony of birds, insects, dogs, salsa music and more is part of what we love. Yet with air conditioning in the bedrooms, it was quiet and we slept comfortably. The beautiful marble floors and stone staircase in the home are lovely and ideal for maybe ages 5 or 6 and up but would feel treacherous with toddlers. We are grateful for the opportunity to stay at Casa Lorenzo and hope to come again some time.

The Vacation of a Lifetime!

Upon arriving at the property, we were immediately in awe at how big, beautiful and secluded the home is. Fidel opened the front gate and loaded all of our luggage in his vehicle and took everything up the driveway to the house. I think I spent the next half hour touring the house, with my mouth gaped open in awe. Every suite was so beautiful and unique. We took the suite overlooking the ocean, with the private terrace and sitting room! I felt like a celebrity the entire time we were there. I'm not sure where you found Esperanza, but she prepared some of the best food I've ever eaten. She was of the nicest people I've ever met. Both she & Fidel perfectly complimented our trip. Fidel booked our ATV mountain tour (it was perfect, I suggest it to everyone!) He also planned some activities for some of the others in the house; diving & fishing trips. One evening we had a get together with some friends that live in PVR. Every person that came on property was just as stunned as I was about how beautiful the house and views were. The mountain view, from the back of the house, visible from the catwalk, was just as stunning as the ocean view. This was absolutely the most amazing vacation I've ever taken (that's saying a lot from someone who's been around the world.) I'll save my comments about the wonderful city of PVR for another review, but as far as Casa Lorenzo, I have a feeling I'll stay there upon my next trip to PVR! I think I must have taken 1,000 photo's. Thanks again for a wonderful stay! Until next time!

Casa Lorenzo Honeymoon Paradise

My husband and I came to stay at Casa Lorenzo for a full week to celebrate our honeymoon. It was a great decision! We arrived at the airport and took a 20 min taxi to the house. We were greeted with fresh guacamole, pico de Gallo and margaritas by the fabulous cook/house keeper Esperanza. We were able to select breakfast, lunch or dinner for Esperanza to prepare for us each day, such as stuffed Chile peppers, chicken enchiladas, fajitas and even lobster our last night from their authentic menu selection. I do have to say you can’t be waking up to fresh squeezed orange juice, hot coffee, a plate of fresh fruit, and any hot breakfast you would like! The house is located on top of a mountain with spectacular sunset views of the beach and the gorgeous Mountain View’s from behind. We were able to walk to the beach and downtown (restaurants, shopping, pharmacy and grocery store) area everyday in a 10-15 min walk. We were able to experience Puerto Vallarta’s 100th year anniversary with the city. They held parades, concerts and fireworks through the week! The manager of the property, Fidel, helped to assist us with coordinating activities we wanted to try in Puerto Vallarta. He gave us great recommendations and discounts to things such as ziplining, tubing, 4-wheeling (ATV) to waterfalls and even would set up a private boat tour to enjoy the sand bars off the coast if we wanted too! Fidel also gave us local recommendations of restaurants and private beaches in the area. The house itself is very spacious and should accommodate anyone’s needs from a pool on the patio to relax in after the beach, the fast WiFi, the cable/movie options on the TV to the air conditioning in every bedroom! We felt very safe the entire time with having our own keys and security codes to the gates to enter. We felt that we really were able to experience the Mexican culture here versus staying in an “all-inclusive” resort... hahah I was happy to brush up on my Spanish while here! We will definitely be coming back and bringing friends and family. Thanks for the stay!

Nice house, but I'm a beachside guy

Fabulous house, amazing views, and superior staff. My guests had an amazing week. For me though, I always wanted to stay in the hills and have now checked that box. I don't need to again and it is not about the house. I like seaside locs. I like to be in Romantica where I can open the door and start walking. A hillside stay adds to the logistics of doing that. The tradeoff of not being able to just go walking downtown without a little planning are some amazing sunsets. The cook and staff were spectacular in all aspects. My wife had to go to the ER and the staff gave us a ride and waited until she was done. If you want a hillside stay, this is the place, amazing food, amazing views!

Comfortable relaxing stay

We were a group of 7 and we had a glorious time at Casa Lorenzo. It has plenty of space if you need a little privacy with a large group. The surrounding property is quite large. Esperanza is a magnificent cook and Fidel goes out of his way to make everything just right. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the area and has many connections. His English is very good as well. The only thing I would let people know is that if you have knee or a foot issue this isn’t the place for you. There are MANY stairs. We all didn’t have an issue with them at all. Good way to burn calories. 🤣

Casa in the Sky

We stayed during the rainy season, which turns out was one of the most intense rainy seasons in over 30 years. The storms were absolutely stunning to experience from the patio overlooking Banderas Bay. Oh yeah, about the house… the staff was so warm and welcoming; the house was just magical; and the neighborhood is my favorite in Puerto Vallarta. I’ve stayed at hotels in PV before, and this made me appreciate having a house to yourself in such a beautiful location. During the morning hours, the butterflies surround you while you are having breakfast on the patio. During the afternoon, you have the pool to take a dip in and enjoy the views. During the evening, there were some nights we sat on the patio to enjoy the thunderstorms. The staff treated us like family! Many thanks to Esperanza, Fidel and everyone else that contributed to our amazing vacation!

We loved it! Esperanza was great and Fidel was great as well. Amazing view, beautiful sunset. Huge rooms and very clean. Everything was great! My aunt lives next door and that’s th reason I wanted this place. The only thing was that the side gate was locked so I had to go up those stairs and that is a serious workout 4 times a day. Puerto Vallarta Birthday Trip

We had a group of 8 individuals come to Puerto Vallarta to celebrate several birthdays. Casa Lorenzo was perfect! While the house is within walking distance of all the action and the beach it is just far enough away to have peaceful relaxing moments. Fidel took care of the house every day and answered any questions we had and Esperanza was absolutely amazing in the kitchen! 10/10 and would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Casa Lorenzo was the best vacation our family of seven has ever had. The property is beautiful and pictures cannot even do it justice. Esperenza is amazing!!! Great Place to Stay

This place was perfect for our after Christmas vacation. There were eight of us in total and there was lots of room in the house for us to spread out in and also lots of room for playing games and watching movies together too. The house is just as beautiful as it looks in pictures and the view from the deck is amazing. There is lots of deck space and the pool is perfect for cooling off in. Short walk downhill into the zona romantica with all the shops, restaurants and the beach. The best part of renting this house is the ability to have the fabulous Esperanza whip up some wonderful meals. We ate breakfast and supper at the house everyday and the food was stellar. My adult kids are still talking about the shrimp burritos, the fajitas and the bacon omelettes. Fidel is a super guy. His English is extensive and we really enjoyed our chats with him. He arranged for a table with nice view at the brunch at Canopy River. He also booked a private boat for us for the day, which was fabulous. We snorkeled at Mahajuitas, cruised around Los Arcos, hiked to a small waterfall in Yelapas and had lunch at Las Animas. It was a great day and it cost less than booking our family onto a crowded group tour. Fidel is very helpful and he has lots of connections in PV. I highly recommend renting this property and I would love to stay there again

What an incredible home and amazing experience!

Our group of friends stayed for 10 days and loved every minute! Esperanza and her delicious meals wowed us and the friendliness of ALL the staff was so endearing. Fidel helped us with any questions or planning of outings. The eagerness to make each guest's stay enjoyable was so appreciated. And the house itself is a gorgeous wonder, with every comfort imaginable in a very convenient location. Popping into the pool after climbing the hill quickly became a refreshing habit we all adopted. None of us wanted to leave our "home" at the end of the vacation! Highly recommend staying here, especially if traveling as a group of adults that love fabulous views, warm smiles, peaceful nights, and beautiful surroundings. Loved by all of us, can't think of anywhere I've enjoyed staying more.

Casa Lorenzo is Amazing

This property is absolutely beautiful and the photos provided are accurate however the home is much more than what the photos show. Amazing views from the home, saw fireworks every night from the property. The House Manager, Fidel and Cook, Esperanza were amazing and very friendly. The food Esperanza prepared was always good and it was very inexpensive to eat in. Fidel could help you with any tours or any questions you have about things to do while in PV. He is very friendly and easy to understand. We stayed here for 9 days and there was 7 of us and there was plenty of room. The property is high up on a hill and it is walkable to Old Town PV, however Uber is very inexpensive and the way to go. I would highly recommend this property. We wish we could have stayed longer. We can't wait to return!

We have always loved Mexico, the weather, the atmosphere, and most of all, the people. We have never vacationed anywhere more frequently than Mexico, specifically Puerto Vallarta. New Year of 2016, we rented a home in the Alta Vista neighborhood with the rest of our blended family. It was a week to remember the Puerto Vallarta's activities, the home, and particularly the property manager and his wife who oversaw the rental house, performed the housekeeping, and did the cooking. It was a great week, so much so we began looking for other homes to invest and hopefully make this event a more frequent opportunity.

We found Casa Lorenzo and have never looked back yet. We worked hard to have the home reflect the Mexican hacienda style. We hope you enjoy the home as much as we do and hope, as we do, to return annually for family, friends and fiesta.
