Position: Portion of a semi-detached villa with panoramic view over a large gulf up to the Punta Secca lighthouse, located on a hill in the countryside, with a private fenced garden. Main crops: olive trees and succulents.
Nature: The house is located outside the town in a quiet area. In the morning you can wake up to the chirping of birds. Ornithology lovers will be able to observe magpies, hoopoes, turtle doves, buzzards, wood pigeons and many other birds up close.
Property description: The house, on a single raised floor, has 2 double bedrooms, a bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom with shower. From one of the bedrooms there is access to a cool veranda shaded by a centuries-old carob tree.
The kitchen-living room, with a large bay window, sea view and access to the garden, is well equipped and has a comfortable 6-seater table, fridge, gas hob, toaster and dishes. The communicating living room, with access to the solarium, is the ideal place to read, relax and above all admire the memorable sunsets over the sea to the Punta Secca lighthouse.
The annex: Accessible from the garden and from the parking area there is an annex consisting of a bathroom with shower, a laundry room with washing machine, fridge-freezer, a large outdoor kitchen with a stone-paved veranda, equipped with a large dining table and delimited by a characteristic drywall. On the back the car park.
Free facilities: Crockery, TV, sheets, towels, cleaning products are provided free of charge by the host.
It is a villa full of light, furnished with taste and originality. The structure can host up to 8 people.
Sea: The beach of Cava d'Aliga, a supermarket, restaurants, bathing establishments, pharmacy, medical guard are about 1000 m away. Just 6 km away is the wonderful beach of Sampieri, with its golden sand dunes and, in less than half an hour, the well-known Marina di Ragusa resort for shopping and nightlife lovers.
The places of Montalbano / excursions: The position of the villa Il Carrubo is ideal for visiting the places of the Commissioner Montalbano (Scicli, Modica, Ragusa Ibla, Punta Secca) and easily reach other places in the provinces of Ragusa (Donnalucata, the archaeological site of Kamarina , the castle of Donnafugata) and Syracuse (the Vendicari nature reserve, one of the most famous ornithological observatories in Italy, Noto considered the capital of the Sicilian Baroque, Syracuse with its imposing Greek remains). In less than an hour other less known beaches can be reached such as San Lorenzo, an extraordinary white beach with a turquoise sea, the Isola delle Correnti (where the waters of the Ionian Sea and the Mediterranean Sea meet), the wonderful resort of Marzamemi with the oldest trap on the island, Eloro with the Marianelli nudist beach.
