This visit was such a joy, largely because of the hosts Rosanna and Paolo. The apartment is large and airy with beautiful views of the valley below. The climb to the property is rewarded with absolute quiet, save the sounds of the working farm. The kitchen is well equipped for any kind of cooking desired. Every day, we received fresh vegetables to add to our menu. The apartment is well situated for access to hiking and exploring the area. Florence is about an hour away by train, making it easy to drop down for the day. Rosanna and Paolo are wonderful hosts with a long history with the valley. We decided one night we would grill a Bistecca Fiorentina with beef from the butcher in Vicchio, along with some peppers. We brought wine and fruit. Rosanna added porcini risotto and a mushroom salad with Parmesan, ending with some grappa from a neighbor. In short, a magnificent stay with wonderful people. We will be back!

Unbeschreiblich - herzlich - unvergesslich

Rosanna und Paolo haben uns unglaublich herzlich willkommen geheißen und haben unseren Urlaub unvergesslich gemacht! In absoluter Ruhe lässt es sich perfekt entspannen und das selbst angebaute Gemüse genießen. Auch unsere Kinder möchten unbedingt wiederkommen um Zeit mit Rosanna, Paolo und ihren Tieren verbringen.

Was für ein traumhafter Ort! Eine schöne, große Wohnung mit tollem Blick ins Tal. Große Wohnküche mit allem drin, was man braucht und sauber ist es sowieso. Rosanna und Paolo sind die besten Gastgeber, die man sich vorstellen kann, herzlich, hilfsbereit und immer freundlich. Es gibt täglich frisches Gemüse aus dem eigenen Anbau, Olivenöl und Wein ebenso. Es ist sehr ruhig und für eine Abkühlung steht ein Pool bereit. Ein perfekter Ort zum entspannen! Es sind ein paar Minuten vom Dorf rauf zur Wohnung, aber man kann sich drauf einstellen (man kauft für ein paar Tage ein und bleibt einfach oben). Wir kommen definitiv wieder! Grazie mille, Rosanna e Paolo! A presto!!

Gorgeous farm stay with lovely people

My family and I had lovely stay with Roseanna, including a lovely shared meal with the other guests. My children loved the animals and picking their own vegetables. It is the most beautiful farm with a gorgeous view. Only down fall is the drive up, made me very nervous, would have liked to be made aware of before booking, especially considering the cancellation policy.
