About this property

Moulin de Mirau, comfortable renovated barn in the Diege valley

Situated on the border between the regions of the Aveyron and the Lot you will be well situated to explore this beautiful part of France.

This lovingly renovated barn in the Diege valley has two bedrooms each with independent, modern shower room. The first with a double bed and the second with two single beds and a sofa bed. Each bedroom has a double wardrobe, drawers and a dressing table. All bed linen and towels are provided and prepared for your comfort.

The cosy living area has a wood burner (wood provided at no extra charge) and two large comfortable sofas. Television in French, German or English Freeview plus Dvd player and selection of DVDs. Wii and board games and tourist info provided.

The dining and kitchen area is spacious and well equipped with modern Bosch appliances including dishwasher and integrated fridge with small freezer compartment. Coffee machines including Dolce Gusto

The private terraces have a dining table and chairs, plus a second seating area, sun loungers plus a coal bbq, not forgetting unlimited, free private access to the jacuzzi hot tub.

Sit back and enjoy the sound of the stream, which runs through the extensive gardens with your own private island accessed by a bridge. There is a small road behind the house between the villages that is quiet.

The owners live adjacent and so are available for you should you require but do not intrude on your privacy. We wish you a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Pets are welcome at our property, but there is an additional 50 euros fee for each pet per stay. Please include your pet at time of booking.

A lovely, peaceful house

A great place to stay - Jenny and Dave were great hosts, as was Pickle the dog. A huge lounge and dining room/kitchen, and a hot tub too, in a very quiet location. Totally recommended

Stunning property.. Home from home.. highly recommend this place..very clean and everything you need, and on arrival A little fire lit,so welcoming and relaxing.. A spacious, comfortable and well equipped property near to wonderful landscapes. Our hosts Dave and Jenny could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. Wonderful holiday home

David and Jenny have transformed an old barn into a wonderfully nice and large holiday home. The house is fully equipped for a young family, such as a stair gate at the top of the stairs. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher, dolce gusto coffee maker, microwave, oven and much more. Outside is a lovely jacuzzi and a wonderful outdoor shower to cool off when it is hot. On arrival we were welcomed very hospitably by David and Jenny, the bottles of wine that were ready were a pleasant surprise! And even so good that several bottles went home! The beds made and the presence of bath towels was also super. For the children there is a spacious garden where they can play and there is a small stream with fish and small lobsters! The area is super beautiful, lots of castles and chateaus. Something for everyone and everything within good travel distances. All in all a wonderful place to relax! We can only recommend it!

Jenny and Dave were excellent hosts, you cannot find any better!! We received a very warm welcome with a good introduction to the house and the different tools like the Jacuzzi. They were always very helpful when we had a question regarding our stay. To our surprise our host offered fresh towels and bed linen every week. The whole house was very clean with a well organized and perfect kitchen. We very much enjoyed our stay in this quiet place. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce très beau gîte, spacieux, confortable et très bien équipé. La location correspond aux photos, tout était parfait et joliment décoré à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur (différents coins pour se reposer à l'ombre ou au soleil). Un seul mot: fantastique !

Les propriétaires très accueillants et de bons conseils mettent à disposition LE logement qui a tout pour permettre de passer les vacances idéales. Espace, propreté, équipements (jacuzzi, douche solaire), larges espaces extérieurs tout est parfait et le confort est optimal. Ajoutez à ça la situation dans un écrin de verdure idéalement placé près des immanquables de la région...ça justifie la note parfaite.

Très agréable sjour

Très agréable séjour au moulin de Mirau. La maison est grande, confortable, bien équipée. Les 2 terrasses permettent de profiter de l'extérieur en s'adaptant au soleil. Jennifer et David sont des hôtes discrets et attentionnés. Enfin, la région est magnifique, il y a beaucoup de charmants villages à découvrir.

Un séjour inoubliable

C’est la première fois que nous arrivons dans un gîte aussi propre, meublé avec goût, avec une grande cuisine fonctionnelle, de la place dans le salon avec ses deux canapés et deux chambres avec chacune sa salle de bain. Nous avons aussi apprécié le jacuzzi, le grand terrain tellement mignon avec son petit pont en bois qui enjambe la Diege, sa petite île privée où nos deux petites chiennes s’en sont données à cœur joie et le chant des cigales l’après-midi. Mais le plus c’est Jennifer et David qui sont des hôtes tellement charmants, attentionnés mais discrets, avec qui nous avons passé de si bons moments. En résumé nous avons passé un excellent séjour où nous avons eu très beau temps. Tout était parfait, allez-y les yeux fermés.

Idyllic streamside country retreat.

Jenny and Dave made us very welcome in their beautifully restored stone barn and were very generous with their time and advice to make our holiday memorable and fun. The gites is very spacious, modern and comfortable and is equipped with everything you could need. We enjoyed every meal on the terrace and luxuriated in the hot tub. There are so many beautiful towns villages and caves to visit in the area that our 4 days was far too short.

Très beau gîte

Un accueil chaleureux dans un très beau gîte où rien ne manque. La cuisine est très grande et très bien équipée. Le salon a deux grands canapés confortables devant la cheminée. Les chambres sont grandes et ont chacune leur salle d'eau avec WC. Les lits sont parfait. Et en plus il y a un joli jardin traversé par un ruisseau. On garde l'adresse. Merci Jennifer et David !

Une belle rencontre, une maison confortable et pleine de charme = vacances réussies

Jenny et Dave ont été des hôtes charmants, attentifs et pleins de bonne humeur. Du coup, en plus de l'intimité et du confort du lieu, nous avons passé deux belles soirées en leur compagnie. La maison est spacieuse et bien équipée pour des vacances en famille. Le jacuzzi est un réel plus et on a plein de possibilités différentes pour prendre l'apéro et se restaurer (au soleil en terrasse, à l'ombre sous les arbres...). Une presqu'île entourée d'un petit ruisseau permet de jouer avec son animal de compagnie à l'abri de la route. Les environs sont particulièrement indiqués pour les balades campagnardes ou forestières et les équipées cyclistes sur des dénivelés exigeants. Bref, pour nous, le séjour a été top. On reviendra bien entendu...

Séjour dans l'Aveyron

Lieux magnifique, bien entretenue, reposant, un jacuzzi mise à disposition, prendre un bain à 22h00 sous les étoile ou la pluie un régal. Jennyfer nous a indiqué quelque lieu à voir et à faire, très à l'écoute de ces clients et très discret. Chambres très spacieuses avec des salles d'eau et WC attenant. Cuisine et salon spacieux et très agréable et très fonctionnelle. Lieux très agréable pour des enfants aussi. Pour ceux qui recherche calme et nature, je vous conseille ce lieux. Malgré la route attenante mais très peu de passage, cité très agréable.

Super séjour pour le réveillon de fin d année dans un gîte exceptionnel avec des propriétaires supers discrets mais très à l écoute. La cheminée et le spa sont très appréciables. Je recommande ce gîte.
