About this property

Gite for 5-8 people, swimming pool, absolute calm, panorama on the Pyrenees.

In a farm Gersoise restored 260m ² composed of 2 cottages near the lake of Astarac and the river of Arrat, with the Pyrenees in panorama, located at the limit of Gers and Hautes-Pyrenees, in the heart of a rural area where typical villages nest. A gite of 168 m² with living room dining room, equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms including two attic rooms, a bathroom bath on the ground floor, a bathroom upstairs shower room, garden of 5000 m², pond, terrace and Shared swimming pool (12m * 5m). Games room, ping pong table, bicycles. A vegetable garden will also allow you to taste the seasonal vegetables. Spain is an hour away and the ski resorts of the Louron Valley (Saint Lary). Sheets and towels provided (except for the pool).
The cottages are completely independent of our main residence which is located on the same ground.

Une semaine superbe dans un environnement très calme, grande maison très confortable à tout point de vue, les enfants se sont éclatés avec la piscine, la pêche dans l’étang, …Didier très à l’écoute nous a bien accueilli et conseillé. Pour arriver plus facilement demander lui l’adresse exacte. Nous recommandons cette location. Merci Didier !

Tranquillité, accueil, cadre.

Maison en cours de rénovation. Rusticité mais authenticité. Confort tout juste suffisant en particulier l'aménagement de la cuisine. Des travaux sont prévus! Ils seront les bienvenus. Très agréable salle de séjour. Bonne literie et salles d'eau suffisantes (on aimerait cependant une prise pour le rasoir). Décrochage bénéfique garanti contre l'envahissement du monde : pas de télé, wifi difficile (mais possible), réseau tél en extérieur seulement. Piscine remarquable par sa grandeur et sa situation : vue sur les Pyrénées et sur le lac d'Astarac, mais pas de vue à partir de la location. Environnement profondément rural et magnifique. Conseil : Emmenez vos vélos électriques si vous n'êtes pas sportifs car il y a de nombreuses routes tranquilles tout autour. Et si vous êtes sportif c'est un régal! Le propriétaire vous prête des vélos en parfait état. Deux locations contiguës qui peuvent potentiellement entrainer des pb de voisinage par la promiscuité, ce qui n'a pas été notre cas.

A perfect, relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings

Beautiful rural area with spectacular views and nature. The Gite was gorgeous, clean and well equipped with spacious rooms, comfy beds and a lovely swimming pool with an incredible view. Our hosts, Didier and Elizabeth were very welcoming and friendly. We had a wonderful stay with our two teenagers. It is the ideal place to relax and take time out for a well needed break in the middle of nature, with the Pyrenees providing a stunning backdrop. There are plenty of lovely walks, forests and lakes to explore. The nearby Lac de la Gimone also has lots of activities and facilities for a fun day out. The swimming pool is perfect to cool off after a day in the sun (or to spend the whole day in and around if you’re feeling lazy). There’s also a games room under the main house, with ping pong, darts, board games, books and bikes. A car is a must for getting out and about but there are plenty of beautiful towns and villages nearby and the nearest supermarket is about 20 minutes away. We would definitely come back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Petit havre de paix

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour avec nos deux enfants. C'est le lieu idéal pour se reposer au milieu de la nature ainsi que pour découvrir le Gers et les Pyrénées toutes proches. Il y a de nombreuses activités à proximité (canoé, accrobranches, randonnées, pêche,...). Nous avons également bien profité de la piscine pour se rafraîchir car le soleil était au rendez - vous et notre fils a bien apprécié la grande marre pour pêcher. Nos deux semaines de vacances se sont déroulées dans une ambiance très détendue et familiale avec Élisabeth et Didier qui nous ont accueilli de façon simple et chaleureuse et toujours très attentionnés. C'est avec plaisir que nous reviendrions pour de prochaines vacances. Mathilde, Adrien, Nathalie et Stéphane.

Malgré un WiFi un peu léger (suite à un orage), nous avons profiter grandement de notre séjour. Accueil sympa, petit vin au frais et proprio aux petits soins. Vous pouvez y aller sans crainte!

Toffe locatie in stille omgeving.

Toffe locatie, ruime kamers, met aangenaam zwembad met ongelofelijk uitzicht. Alles in de streek is bio en in de plas nabij de woning zitten zelfs rivierkreeftjes. Toeristisch is de streek (nog) niet uitgebaat. Eigenaar woont niet ver van de vakantiewoning en is zeer meegaand. In de omgeving is veel te beleven, maar een wagen is noodzakelijk. Voor sommigen was de matras te hard en aan vervanging toe.

Calme, repos, farniente et soleil

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en pleine campagne, repos absolu et farniente au bord de la piscine. Didier et Babeth sont deux hôtes très chaleureux et très sympa (merci pour la petite bouteille de vin à l'arrivée!!!!). Et quand on avait plus d'énergie, de très belles balades à faire dans la nature, avec en toile de fond les Pyrénées.
