We have just upgraded the WiFi and it is fast and free.

Rusey is a charming cottage set into the south facing valley side a short walk from the beach at Crackington Haven on the spectacular North Cornish Coast.
Peace awaits you in this tranquil location which offers the ideal family friendly break or the romantic couples escape.
A quote from 'The Sunday Times'........
'We can argue all day whether or not Crackington is the prettiest beach in Cornwall, but we will agree that the cottages at Mineshop are a National Treasure'
The property benefits from having its own private enclosed garden area and enclosed, secluded balcony, with exquisite views out over the fields and woodland beyond, where an abundance of wildlife can be seen. What could be more perfect than sitting out on the balcony with a glass of wine.
Dogs are very welcome and can enjoy lead free walks in our private streamside valley fields which are kept free of farm animals so that you and your dogs can relax and enjoy!
Dogs are a charge of £25 per stay, please pay this in cash upon collection of your cottage key.

Beautiful Area

Excellent location if you have a dog, very dog friendly, great field for them to run around in with a stream at the side. Short walk to beach. Owners very friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful

Rusey cottage was perfect for our family and dog. We stayed for 2 weeks and was a great location for us to travel to various different places of interest in Cornwall. Our hosts and their family were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel so welcomed. We can’t wait to go back and stay. ITbank you for having us ☺️😁

Lovely break

Property is as described. The bedrooms are quite snug. Literally walking room around the beds but adequate for our needs. The walk into the village is about 25 minutes but that is through fields and woodland walks so do come prepared especially if the weather is not so good. Overall though accommodation is as described the host was very pleasant and as we wanted a quiet setting a great week was had by our family.

Another lovely week at Mineshop :-)

We are a couple with 2 dogs and Mineshop is an ideal base for us. I almost don't want to give too positive a review as we don't want it to get overbooked! Rusey is situated in a quiet and peaceful location and is cosy and comfortable for either couples or families. The location is great for exploring local sites and there are plenty of lovely walks you can do without even getting in the car. Bliss!

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful and scenic location.

We have had a fantastic week in this cottage. Lovely cream tea on arrival and a pint of milk with tea bags and coffee. Just what we needed after a long journey. The location was great. Beach and pub in walking distance and other walks to explore. Bude was 10-15 mins in the car. Lovely beaches near by if you fancy a a change. Will hopefully visit again next year.

dvd player war nicht vorhanden (obwohl angepriesen), keine Kaffeemaschiene nur Wasserkocher mit Quetschbehälter, WiFi gar nicht - nicht mal schlecht - dafür kostenlos, Telekommunikation null. Tief im Tal - Aussicht - grüne Wand. Für Leute, die vollkommen ihre Ruhe haben wollen - ideal. Für uns nur zum Schlafen geeignet.

The perfect dog friendly destination

This is my third stay here and I cannot fault it. It's a peaceful, beautiful spot and as superbly dog friendly as you will get anywhere. The cottage/lodge was warm, comfortable and had every facility. The bed was very comfy! The property has its own fields and river and the dogs had the best of holidays. Ideally situated for all the north Cornwall highlights I cannot recommend Mineshop highly enough. I will be back!
