We loved our stay! Thomas was an incredible host and walked up through the apartment and all of its amenities when we arrived. The view of the river and boardwalk were amazing. We had 5 people in party (3 kids) and had plenty of space without being on top of each other. We did the hop on/hop off bus, and there’s a stop less than a block away - super convenient! Would absolutely stay here again.

Grand Ol'Glasgow

Fantastic apartment in a great location. We stayed for two nights, the description of the property is extremely accurate. Thomas the host couldn't have been more helpful, would highly recommend this place. The added bonus of car parking beneath the building saved us a fortune in fees too.

Great Overall Experience!

The apartment is very conveniently located in city centre, with restaurants, pubs, shopping, bus and train stations nearby. Great view of the river, very comfortable, and clean! The property manager could not have been more accommodating by letting us drop off our bags early while the apartment was being cleaned, and also giving us wonderful recommendations during our stay in Glasgow. Highly recommend staying here!!

Short 5 day visit to Glasgow

The apartment is ideally situated in the center of the city. Easy walking distance to hundreds of restaurants, bars and shops. Also ideally situated for train and bus adventures and would highly recommend the open top city bus tour as it’s only £17 for 2 days and you can jump on and off unlimited times. The apartment is ideal for adults on a short stay and used as a base for day trips to the highlands and Ayrshire coast.

If the view of the river doesn’t convince you to stay here, the apartment location definitely will. Waking up to that scenery every morning was a real treat.The bedrooms were so comfortable and clean that getting out of bed felt like a personal challenge. The full kitchen was perfect for cooking, and having a shopping center nearby made grocery runs quick and easy which also meant we had no excuse not to cook but we did go out to sample some of the Scottish cuisine one night.One evening, we were sitting on the balcony enjoying a few of beers when something popped up in the river. For a brief, glorious moment, we were convinced we’d spotted the Loch Ness Monster on vacation. Turns out it was just a seal—but after a beer or two, you can understand the confusion! Mr. Thomas deserves a special shout-out. He gave us a tour of the apartment like a seasoned pro, making sure we knew how everything worked—including the mysterious water heater and the overhead stove fan before either of them could outsmart us. He answered every question with patience and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Metropole. The apartment had a beautiful view of the Clyde River and we were happy to have a deck to enjoy it from. The apartment was quite spacious with plenty of amenities. It was located close to several train stations, pubs, and shops - very easy to walk around. Thomas was excellent to communicate with, very efficient and friendly - the kids really enjoyed having a surprise x-box set up in one of the rooms! We felt very comfortable here and would be happy to stay again!

Great jumping off point for our trip

Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids ages 11, 14, and 16) stayed for two nights in this property to start off our 2 week vacation in Scotland. The apartment was a perfect for us and our host Thomas was attentive and responsive. He met us at the property to show us around and ensure our check in went smoothly. The apartment itself was clean, spacious and well located. We were able to explore Glasgow on foot and by tour bus easily. We highly recommend this property and would stay again if we return to Glasgow in the future.

Sehr schöne Lage.Ausblick auf den Fluss, macht richtig Laune.Der Gastgeber hat uns alles super erklärt und sogar unten auf der Straße auf uns gewartet.Wir waren zum Konzertbesuch für zwei Tage in der Stadt, 40min. zu Fuß bis ins Stadion.

We had the great pleasure of staying in this apartment during our visit to Glasgow. The apartment is extremely clean and well appointed/stocked. We had a spectacular view of the Clyde out the patio doors. The apartment was centrally located very close to shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. Thomas, our contact during our stay, was very responsive, accommodating and friendly. We highly recommend staying at this apartment when visiting Glasgow. We certainly will stay here again when we return.

Unmatched location and view!

A great spot in a fantastic location, making everything in the city accessible! The home itself was comfortable and more spacious than expected, the host himself was super helpful and incredibly pleasant, but the view from the balcony was a sight to behold. A great location for a quick weekend getaway or a foreign traveler!
