Delightful holiday home in Aruba

Arubahome is located in the quiet area of ​​Punto di Oro. It is a beautiful well maintained four-person bungalow at about 3KM distance from Oranjestad and about 5KM from one of the most beautiful beaches of Aruba "Eagle Beach" and "Palm Beach".
The bungalow is air conditioned in all rooms. Both bedrooms each have a private bathroom with shower and toilet.
The living room has a seating area with sofa, TV and telephone. The kitchen is equipped with a four-seater dining table, large refrigerator with freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher and has coffee and tea making facilities.
The spacious veranda features a lounge-diner set.
Of course, WIFI is available free of charge.


Consumption of water and electricity;

Water consumption is included in the rental rate up to 3 m3 per week.
Electricity is included in the rental rate up to 120Kwh per week.


Taxes;

Tourist Taxes are included.

Management;

The management of the property is provided by Julie Partosemito.

Check in, communication and listings were all dependent on a means of communication on site: we had to buy a new sim card and to bring a phone with us, something we were totally planning not to do (wanted an out of reach, totally relaxing vacation). The listing does not mention that electricity and/or water bill will absolutely result in an additional amount to be paid, as the calculations are based on a minimal consumption rate (eg AC on for maximum 8 hours a day and shower every other day). NOTE: it is not the extra amount of money you have to pay for at the end, it is just the added stress to an already stressful departure day. We were advised right on the moment when we had to hand in the keys that there is extra money to pay. This is not advised in the listing, and right now we are waiting to pay an extra amount for electricity. Cleanliness: excellent, location: so and so as it is very close to a boulevard /highway (Watty Vos) which is very, very, very noisy at night due to motorbike riders that continuously amp up their vehicles. Very noisy - could sleep only with ear plugs on. Shops near-by: only a convenience store in the walking distance, all the rest accessible by car (eg: Super Food plaza and Cmart). No beach is really accessible without a car (none in walking distance). All in all a good enough experience thanks to the excellent weather and sandy beaches, but not up to our expectations and definitely not the best we had with vrbo.

Beste Leontin, Dank u voor uw feedback en fijn om te lezen dat u de netheid van de woning heeft gewaardeerd en heeft genoten van Aruba. Graag willen wij voor toekomstige gasten enkele punten verduidelijken. In onze advertentie en huurvoorwaarden staat duidelijk vermeld dat water- en elektriciteitsverbruik inbegrepen zijn tot een normaal dagelijks gebruiksniveau. Het inbegrepen verbruik is gebaseerd op ruim dagelijks gebruik, waaronder airconditioning in de slaapkamers gedurende de nacht en aanvullend gebruik in de woonkamer. Omdat nutsvoorzieningen op Aruba relatief kostbaar zijn, kan alleen bij uitzonderlijk hoog verbruik een aanvullende bijdrage worden gevraagd. Dit komt overigens zelden voor, bij het overgrote deel van onze reserveringen zijn geen extra kosten van toepassing. Daarnaast staat in de advertentie duidelijk aangegeven dat de woning centraal gelegen is op ongeveer 3 KM van Oranjestad en circa 5 KM van Eagle Beach en Palm Beach. Zoals voor vrijwel alle accommodaties op Aruba wordt een huurauto aanbevolen om het eiland comfortabel te verkennen. Wat betreft de omgeving; de woning ligt in een rustige woonwijk met weinig lokaal verkeer voor de deur. Aan de achterzijde van de wijk bevindt zich een doorgaande weg op enige afstand van de woning. Geluidservaring blijft uiteraard persoonlijk en kan per gast anders worden ervaren. Tijdens het verblijf zijn zowel wijzelf als onze lokale beheerder op Aruba steeds bereikbaar voor vragen en assistentie. Veel gasten communiceren eenvoudig via WhatsApp, telefoon of de VRBO-app, afhankelijk van hun eigen voorkeur. Een mobiele telefoon is daarom zeker een aanrader om bij te hebben. Perfect home for digital nomads in Aruba

We really loved our stay in this cozy home in Aruba! It was perfectly set up with handy things, including a panini maker in the kitchen. The cooking utensils and pots and pans were good. Overall the place was nicely done efficient and well built. We loved using the clothesline instead of a dryer. The place was very clean and easy to keep clean. It was a great place to come home to after beachy expeditions. It had fast, reliable internet and power. We both worked remote with no issues.

Super Lage und sauber

Gute Lage. Nur 10 Minuten zum eagle Beach und 15 Minuten zum Boca Catalina Beach. Haus ist sehr sauber und die Küche perfekt ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos und prompt.
