Villa delle Rose is set in the small village of Leivi, a 10-minute drive from Chiavari Train Station, on the Gulf of Tigullio, between the famous Cinque Terre and the Portofino village. The Cinque Terre (Unesco World Heritage) can be reached by train from Chiavari in about 30 minutes. There are boat trips that will allow you to admire the spectacular coastline of the Ligurian Riviera, including the Benedectine Abbey of San Fruttuoso and the famous Portofino bay. Pisa and Florence are easily reached by car or train. Genoa "La Superba" with the largest historical center in Europe, its famous Aquarium and its narrow streets, its marvelous churches and the Palazzi dei Rolli (also UNESCO World Heritage) is only 30 minutes by train from Chiavari. Wherever you can enjoy the famous pesto, flour, spinach and a host of land and sea specialties accompanied by local wines, both red and white, choosing from popular restaurants and small but delicious taverns outside the beaten path.
The apartment is located in a hilly villa with large gardens and olive groves. It has two terraces, one of which is furnished with tables and chairs for outdoor dining and a balcony with a small table, 2 chairs. It consists of a large bedroom with double bed, and two single beds, wardrobe and bedside tables and chest of drawers; Another room with two single beds and two extra beds. Also living / dining room with table, chairs, double sofa bed, cable TV, DVD player, free and unlimited access via wi-fi Internet. A kitchenette with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and cooking utensils. The apartment includes a renovated 2013 bathroom which includes a large shower, toilet, bidet, sink and washing machine. It is available to guests in the garden, a terrace with gazebo and BBQ. A ping-pong table and table football are at guests' disposal in the common areas. From the gazebo, the view is spectacular. It is possible to bring your own bicycles as there is a safe place where you can park them. Baby cots and high chairs are available.

Spacious and quiet

We used this location as it seemed like a good access point to various towns along the Ligurian coast. The apartment was great but the area is a bit sleepy. Also, no A/C so it was pretty hot. That is very common in Italy though so it's not a complaint. Just be prepared. I think this is a perfect spot if you plan to stay a week or more, want to cook your own meals, and relax.

Perfect location to relax and visit Cinque Terre

we stayed at villa delle rose in October 2011 the apartment is spacious, well decorated, has a beautiful view and was perfect for us (2 adults and 3 children) location is excellent to leave the car at the Chiavari train station and take the train that in 30 minutes will leave you at the cinque terre without the problem of finding a parking space we also explored Portofino, Camogli and Sestri Levante all very near Elisa, the landlady who lives just below was very helpful with a lot of suggestion on places to go and restaurant bookings so we had the possibility to experience the real Italy avoiding all the traps for tourists October was an excellent month, no crowd and perfect sea temperature An excellent location, we will come back

A Great Holiday

The location is really handy, just a couple of minutes drive from the pleasant town of Chiavari with a good supermarket and Pizzeria nearby. The apartment is spacious and light with lovely views over the valley in front with Chiavari and the sea to the side. Even in February we made use of the table tennis and babyfoot. The garden was a pleasant place to chill out, drink coffee and play with the sweetest dog in the word! Elisa is the friendly owner who lives in the apartment below. She made us feel really welcome and was an invaluable source of information. It was a pleasure to be her neighbour and tenant for 8 days! The coastal towns we visited were all lovely including Chiavari, Genoa, Sestri Levante, Zoagli, Santa Marguerita and of course Portofino. The walk from Santa Margerita to Portofino was very pretty and there was no one around, which made it even better!

Die Wohnung war ein schöner Ausgangspunkt für unseren 8-tägigen Strandurlaub und zum Wandern. Alles war vorhanden, wirkte gemütlich und der Garten war einladend zum geselligen Verweilen und Ausruhen. Der Ausblick auf die Hügel und das Meer waren genial. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ligurien-Urlaub ganz echt

Unsere Panorama-Wohnung mit dem wundervollen Pergola-Sitz und dem Olivengarten als Alternativweg zur Straße war außergewöhnlich schön. Auch dank der guten Tipps von Elisa Gianotti haben wir per Zug und Schiff viel von der Küste gesehen, sind in Cinque Terre gewandert und haben natürlich im Meer gebadet. Die Lage der Wohnung ist gut geeignet für Ausflüge in jede Richtung. Es hat uns sehr gefallen.

Erholsame Ferien in Ligurien

Wir (mein Mann und unser Golden Retriever Rüde) hatten eine tolle Woche in Casa Limoni. Die Unterkunft war sehr gepflegt und sauber mit schöner Terrasse und Garten mit Blick auf die Berge und das Meer. Die Vermieterin ist super nett und hilfsbereit, konnte uns Tipps zu Ausflügen und Gastronomie geben. Unser Hund durfte auf dem gesamten Gelände mit der Hündin der Eigentümerin spielen und hatte viel Spaß in den Olivenhainen. Chiavari ist mit dem Auto nur Minuten entfernt und hat eine schöne Altstadt. Leivi ist als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge super, da zwischen Genua und Cinque Terre gelegen und auch Badeurlauber kommen auf ihre Kosten. Restaurants oder ein Lebensmittelladen gibt es nicht in Fußweite, aber mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Können uns gut vorstellen hier wieder unseren Urlaub zu verbringen und können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.

Lovely villa

We recently stayed 7 nights in the Panorama apartment, and it was a wonderful location. Elise made us feel at home and was so helpful with her local knowledge. We enjoyed visiting with her and walking through her lovely grounds. The views were outstanding. We were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed spending time in Chiavari. The Saturday market day in the town square was a highlight. The walk along the seafront promenade was a beautiful. We enjoyed several meals in that area. We had day trips to the Cinque Terre and also took the ferry boat from Rapallo to Portofino. So much fun!

Herrliche Woche in Levi

Wir haben als Familie mit unserer 8jährigen Tochter eine wunderschöne Woche im Appartement Panorama verbracht. Wir genossen die herrliche Aussicht vom Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer! Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und dank der hohen Räume auch sehr luftig. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die liebevolle, unaufdringliche Betreuung von der Vermieterin Elisa. Sie gab uns wertvolle Tipps Ausflüge betreffend aber auch in kulinarischer Hinsicht. Unsere Tochter schloss innige Freundschaft mit ihrem Hund Onni und fühlte sich sehr wohl. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Einfach nur Klasse

Casa Limoni mit der Eigentümerin Elisa sorgt für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub. Alle erdenkliche Ausstattung ist vorhanden, alles neuwertig und mit Geschmack ausgewählt. Das Grundstück mit den vielen Olivenbäumen, den anderen Pflanzen und nicht zuletzt dem Hund Onni sorgen auch im Umfeld für eine entspannte Atmosphäre. Elisa ist eine sehr nette sympathische Vermieterin mit vielen Tipps , von Ausflügen bis zum Einkauf von Pasta Fresco. Das Aquarium in Genua oder die Cinque Terre sind nicht weit. Ende Mai war es schon so warm, dass wir im Meer baden konnten. Die zum Verkauf angebotenen landwirtschaftlichen Produkte aus der Nachbarschaft sind vorzüglich. Wir werden wieder kommen. Perfekter Urlaub

Wir haben im September 2014 zwei Wochen im Apartment Panorama verbracht. Im Nachhinein können wir uns gar nicht entscheiden, was das Beste an diesem tollen Urlaub war: die bezaubernde Gegegend, das wunderschöne Apartment oder der fantastische Ausblick auf das Meer und die umliegenden Wälder. Auch die immer hilfsbereite Vermieterin Elisa trug wesentlich dazu bei: sie gab uns die besten Tipps für Ausflüge und andere Insidertipps, wie z.B. gute Lokale, die besten Verkehrsmittel, die schönsten Orte und Strände... Wir genossen es, mit ihr zu plaudern und von ihr in die ligurischen Gepflogenheiten eingeweiht zu werden. Das Apartment übertraf unsere Erwartungen bei weitem. Elegante Einrichtung, genügend Platz, große helle Räume mit vielen Balkontüren und absolute Sauberkeit luden zum gemütlichen Verweilen ein. Deshalb unser Tipp: hinfahren und genießen - absolute Empfehlung!

Sehr empfehlenswert

Wir waren mit 4 Kindern zwischen 8 und 13 Jahren für eine Woche in Leivi im Appartement Panorama. Es hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung war sauber, ruhig und hell, und der Platz war auch mit 6 Personen ausreichend. Tischtennisplatte und Tischkicker wurden von unseren Kindern gerne genutzt, für einen gemütlichen Abend unter der wunderschönen Pergola im Garten war es im April leider noch zu kühl. Elisa ist um ihre Gäste sehr bemüht und hat viele gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurantbesuche. Durch ihre herzliche und freundliche Art fühlt man sich gleich wie zu Hause. Auch die Lage des Hauses fanden wir optimal: Chiavari ist ein hübsches Städtchen, die Autobahn für Ausflüge nach Genua, Pisa, etc. ist nicht zu weit entfernt und touristische Highlights wie Sestri Levante oder die Halbinsel von Portofino sind gut zu erreichen.

Un été inoubliable ! Merci Elisa !

C'était notre premier voyage en Italie... grâce à Elisa, il restera dans notre mémoire... Il n'y a rien à dire de la location, à part le fait qu'elle soit parfaite. Elle est propre, super bien équipée, lumineuse, agréable, tranquille... Et sa propriétaire est tout aussi parfaite ! Gentille, multilingue, elle vous guide, vous donne des conseils, vous prépare un petit pesto maison... Nous, nous ne sommes pas baignade, alors on a passé une semaine à visiter, et nous avons fait la côte de Genova à Piza, en passant par Portofino, Cinque terre... MERVEILLEUX... mais pour ceux qui veulent faire "trempette" il y a tout ce qu'il faut... Je vous recommande cette location LES YEUX FERMES ! Nous reviendrons Elisa, j'en suis sûre ! Serietà e disponibilità della proprietaria.

Gruppo di amici tra 21 e 28 anni. Al nostro arrivo notiamo con piacere che tutto ciò che veniva presentato nell'annuncio corrispondeva alla realtà e che l'intera struttura si presentava in condizioni soddisfacenti da un punto di vista estetico e funzionale. In fase di organizzazione del soggiorno la Sig.ra Elisa ha sempre fornito risposte rapide ed esaustive ad ogni domanda da noi posta. Durante tutto il soggiorno abbiamo potuto contare sulla totale disponibilità della padrona della struttura che ha messo a disposizione di noi ospiti le sue attrezzature e i prodotti agricoli che lei stessa coltiva nella proprietà. In conclusione l'esperienza è stata positiva e consigliabile a chi voglia trascorrere alcuni giorni in un contesto tranquillo e comodo ad ogni spostamento, con un prezzo accessibile.

A Month in Paradise!

We were privileged to spend a month at Villa della Rose, an experience set apart from our many previous wonderful vacation rentals, because Elisa and her beautiful Golden Retriever Oni made us feel welcome and at home as if we were family. The villa was beyond our expectations and even more beautiful than the photos represent. Spacious, immaculately clean and maintained, with three verandahs offering amazing views of the sea and surrounding mountains. Below the villa is the olive grove, luxuriant with fruit trees as well as olive trees and many other beautiful plants. The location could not be better, situated midway between Genoa and La Spezia with easy access to the Cinque Terre, Portofino, and all the other lovely seaside villages. Elisa offers a parking space for the majority of clients who choose to drive, but it is also possible to visit the area easily with bus service directly in front of the villa connecting to the train station a short distance away in Chiavari. That being said, the truly greatest pleasure of our visit was our lovely host, Elisa. She welcomed us with open arms upon arrival and each time we stopped to visit her, she was genuinely happy to see us and treated us with the warmest of hospitality. She is a fount of knowledge of the surrounding area and happily shared her knowledge of restaurants, art and architecture, music, and local culture. Please book Elisa's property with utmost confidence, you will not be disappointed!

Lovely location, wonderful villa

Casa Limoni is a beautiful, recently built villa with every modern convenience. Spotlessly clean. We were made very welcome and benefitted from our host's local knowledge. It's very well placed for visiting the Cinque Terre and Portofino. The local town, Chiavari is very interesting with a lovely botanical garden and local train service. The local pizzeria, La Cava, is a large very family friendly restaurant which sells the largest pizzas I've ever seen. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Leivi and would definitely recommend it. Plenty of walks and places to visit but also a lovely garden to relax in.

Leivi und Elisa, danke für die schönen Ferien!

Wir erinnern uns sehr gerne an unseren Aufenthalt in Leivi und an Elisa, die nette Vermieterin. Auch können wir uns sehr gut vorstellen, wieder dort Ferien zu machen. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und sehr sauber, die Aussicht traumhaft mit drei Balkonen. Wir waren mit zwei kleinen Kindern dort (3 und 5), die es sehr genossen haben, den grossen Garten zu entdecken und herumzutoben. Das Meer ist mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen und wir haben verschiedene Strände ausprobiert. Chiavari selbst ist eine hübsche mittelalterliche Stadt und Dank den vielen guten Tipps von Elisa (wo sind gute Restaurants, wo gibt es die besten Pasta?) einen Besuch wert. family vacation-wonderful place

We stayed at Elisa's place for 4 days with 4 adults and 2 children. The accomidations are wonderful and bueatiful. There are great views of the Italian coast and surrounding countryside from the verandas. We enjoyed farm fresh eggs, fresh fruits and vegetables, olive oil, and wine grown in the garden or from a nearby farm. It is centrally located to all of the great attractions, and Elisa supplied us with so much information and literature for all the places we wanted to see. The best part was Elisa. What a terrific host and a pleasant person. I would recommend this place to anyone, and we can't wait to stay there again.

Wonderful Place to Stay!!!

If you are traveling in this part of Italy, staying at Elisa's place is a MUST! Not only is her home spectacular, equipped with everything you need, extremely clean with breathtaking views, but she is so delightful and helpful, that you will want to just hang out with her and Oni! We are a family of four (two kids ages 9 and 6) who were traveling in France and Italy along with my Aunt and Uncle. We all stayed comfortably in Elisa's place. She spent lots of time telling us where to go, where to eat, where to shop, etc.. Her extensive knowledge of the area and wonderful advice really made our trip so special. In addition, we came at the right time as her grandson, Leone was in town and was a fantastic baby-sitter for my children. They still talk about hanging out with him and of course playing with Oni. You will not regret staying in Leivi as is so conveniently located to so many wonderful places to explore. The town of Leivi also gives you a real feel of what living in Italy would be like. We cannot express how pleased we were with out stay and we will be back next Summer!

Fantastiskt läge och varmt välkomnande...

Vi, jag och min man, bodde 8 dagar i början av juni i Villa delle Rose. Lägenheten är mycket fräsch och där finns allt man behöver för en angenäm vistelse (dock ingen diskmaskin). Ett extra + sängarna var bäddade vid ankomsten. Lägenheten är mycket ljus med tre balkonger i olika väderstreck. Fri tillgång till internet. Utsikten ut över dalen och olivodlingarna är underbar. Man har också utsikt ner mot Chiavari och havet. I trädgården har man en egen möblerad uteplats med grill och tillgång till kök. Där kan man också köpa färska ägg, potatis, olivolja, vin mm från grannens odlingar. Ägarinnan Elisa är mycket tillmötesgående och hjälpsam. Vi blev varmt väkomnade av henne och hennes hund Oni. Elisa bjöd in oss på vin och ost medan vi fick tips om restauranger, utflykter (Genua, Cinque Terre, Chiavari etc) och inköpsmöjligheter mm. Eliza var alltid där och ställde upp om hon behövdes samt försåg oss med sina egna liguriska specialiteter. Many thanks to Elisa and Oni that made our stay memorable. Lovely owner, Lovely spot, Lovely stay.

Everything about our 4 night stay was very enjoyable. We had plenty of room for 4 adults and a teenager. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The decks, orchards, and views are wonderful. The nearest grocery store is a short drive. The location is very good for exploring the area as it is very convenient to drive down (5 minutes) to Chiavari, where you will find free parking and easy access to the train station. The owner, Elisa, is an absolute gem. She absolutely loves to greet her guests and make sure you have everything they need to enjoy your stay. She can answer any question you could possible think to ask. You feel like you are visiting your Italian family that you never knew you had! The price is much more reasonable than other locations on and near the Cinque Terre. And the smell of the flowers between your parking and your door is like the icing on the cake! We absolutely recommend this apartment!

Irish family

We had a wonderful time at Elisa's place. The apartment was equipped with everything we could need, (including very fast WiFi-a big hit with our 3 teenage girls!) and the garden and views were amazing. We had fresh eggs, vegetables, honey, and olive oil available from a neighbouring farm. But best of all was Elisa-she welcomed us with open arms, recommended wonderful places to eat, provided bikes and maps and even invited us along to a great party! We enjoying travelling to the beaches along the coast and had a brilliant holiday
