About this property
SOLAR - AFRICAN CHIC, COMFORTABLE, SUPER CLEAN AND CENTRAL
We have solar, so never lose access to the Wi-Fi of lights. The house is located in a beautiful quiet gated neighborhood & is just 15 minutes away from any point in Johannesburg, including the airport. The house and property is huge, giving you all the privacy & quiet you could want.
This beautiful home has just undergone a re-vamp. Wooden floors re-finished, entire house re-painted, brand new kitchen, bathrooms updated, etc. The rooms are huge, use it as a work space (pop-up showroom, etc) or to just escape into a corner and enjoy the quiet. You will wake to the singing of the birds, we have about 14 species visiting everyday. The yard is great for kids to run around in, have a dip in the pool & lunch outdoors in the thatched lapa. Whatever you are looking for, you will probably find it here.
Our domestic helper will clean the house every day as well as wash & iron on request.
There is an office with wifi.
The kitchen is fully equipped. Sheets are cotton or bamboo for a good nights sleep. The veg patch always has something ready to be picked, either veg or herbs, you are welcome to pick from it.
The house is in a secure location & as with most JHB houses, it's surrounded by high walls. We also have security cameras around the outside.
There is a garage for your car.
It's home away from home.

Highly recommended
The house is large and clean. We can recommend it highly. It is a safe area to move around in and it's close to the Shopping Mall.
The servant is wonderful, helpful and pleasant to talk to. We enjoyed every day.
It will be on our list for the next trip from Canada to S.A.

Great place to stay in Johannesburg
What a wonderful place to stay. Very roomy, large property and the owner is fantastic.
Mini, the owner, lives downstairs and is very helpful in giving recommendations, providing
help in many ways and makes you feel right at home. A wonderful, home away from home
that I would highly recommend.

I have lived in three countries and find I have a restless soul, hence I now live in two continents. I stopped liking hotels years ago and for this reason, I turned this house into the kind of place I would like to stay in when traveling with family or a group of friends.
Why they chose this property
It is beautiful, it is large, it is super clean and it is like an oasis in the city, green and quiet yet so close to everything
What makes this property unique
The house is set on the side of the mountain, so there is another level where there are two apartments. One is where Jenny lives, and the other is where I stay when in town.
It is less than 2 km's away from the beginning of the Hwy system which will take you to any point in JHB in a few minutes
