Relax and unwind in a beautifully designed mini country estate, with stunning interiors and never-ending views. It is perfectly positioned for trips to London, Windsor, Ascot, Henley and Marlow allowing you to choose your activities, mixing peaceful relaxation with trips out. Braywood House is a magical place, steeped in history, surrounded by 10 acres of gardens, meadows and woodland along with access to the Crown Estate forest. Inside, you will find tasteful decor, a fully equipped kitchen to suit the most professional of chefs, a log burning fire, a gym, sound system and more.
Braywood House is in Winkfield, 4 miles outside Windsor, making it easy to explore both Windsor and London whilst staying in stunning countryside. It is also just a stone's throw away from the famous Ascot Racecourse, Henley and Marlow are also close by and for families, Lego Land and Thorpe Park are just a couple of miles away. You will be spoilt for choice with easy access to stunning parks, cultural gems, Michelin Star restaurants and heritage sites locally, including Windsor Castle and Eton College.
Inside, the house is crammed full of period features from fireplaces to antique crystal chandeliers yet the decor has a contemporary twist. There is a bespoke state of the art kitchen designed by Anthony Mullen, 2 reception rooms with fireplaces and phenomenal views over the countryside, a gym, laundry room and cloakroom on the ground floor. Upstairs you will find 4 large double bedrooms, again all with wonderful views. The master bedroom has an ensuite shower room and there is also a family bathroom with shower.
Built in 1861, Braywood House is a stunning old vicarage set in over 10 acres of beautiful gardens. Flint-faced, with Bath stone detailing, it has arched eyebrows over its mullioned windows and a hint of a gingerbread house in its curvy decorative woodwork. The attendant church, despite featuring in a Hammer horror film with Oliver Reed, was demolished in the 1960s, but its aisle and a score of graves form a part of the front garden. Walking in this part of Windsor Forest usually involves keys and permits and conversations with the Crown Estate office. Braywood House, though, has free access.
We offer a concierge service from our office in the grounds which is staffed 7 days a week from 9am until 6pm. During these times, there will be people on hand to book taxis or restaurants, help organising activities for your stay or offer advice on anything else that you may need. In addition, the house has a full time gardener and a weekly cleaning service is included.
Should you require any further help or information please don't hesitate to get in touch - we would be happy to hear from you.
