Very beautiful house with more than a century and a half history located in the center of Porto. Now with new double-glazed windows with thermal and acoustic protection, combining old and traditional architecture with today's comfort.
- A LOT OF SPACE AND ALL AMENITIES
It has 4 bedrooms - two with beds for four people and another two with double suite. The house also has 5 bathrooms, a living room where you can watch cable TV, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room both with a great view of the garden. The entire house has Wi-Fi coverage.
- A GARDEN TO BE
The house has a nice garden with table and chairs, flowers and a small garden where you can start the day with a breakfast close to nature, and away from the noises of the city.
- IN THE HEART OF BAIXA DO PORTO You will be near Rua de Santa Catarina, being the most commercial street in Porto and where you can also find monuments such as the Capela das Almas or Majestic café, Avenida dos Aliados, Bolhão Market ... The Ribeira is a 20-minute walk away.
- WHERE IS ALL SO CLOSE TO S. station Bento is a 10-minute walk away and the metro (Bolhão Station) is 2 minutes away. You will be close to all the attractions of the city, including the nightlife of Porto and at the same time find the rest and tranquility you are looking for.
- CLOSE TO EVERYTHING YOU NEED In the same street (about 2 minutes) you have a supermarket and a parking lot at very attractive prices.
- NOTE
For 8 guests or less we will include all 4 bedrooms with 3 double beds and 2 single beds. For each guest after the 8th we make a single bed

Elegance and a great location
From the moment you walk into this home you are overcome with a sense of beauty and elegance. The owners have done an amazing job with the recent remodel and we felt like we were staying in a luxury villa. The kitchen has everything you need and the location can not be beat.

Just Perfect!
The house is elegant, immaculate and convenient.
We found the location to be perfect with many delicious restaurants nearby and the Bolhão Market just a 4 minute walk. We were a group of 9 for 7 nights. We never tired of returning each night to this beautiful home.

Can’t Recommend Highly Enough
We had a fabulous stay at Urban Oasis! It was the perfect location, within walking distance of everything we had planned to do. The property has been recently renovated and is beautiful and very clean. With 4BR/4BA, it was ideal for our girl’s trip. Sofia and Jorge were very gracious hosts. Very helpful and responsive. I wish I could go back tomorrow!

Porto Stay at Jorge and Sofia's place
Excellent stay all around, this property was by far the nicest place we stayed in our two week vacation. You can tell that the apartment has recently been renovated because it feels brand new. We had a family of four with two adult kids so everyone had their own space/bathrooms. Jorge and Sophia were super responsive with check in and ideas of activities, restaurants, etc. Plus, the location is fantastic. Walkable to the old town river area of Porto. Would love to stay in their place on our next trip to Porto!

Wonderful Home Near Balhao Market
This was the best house we stayed at during our two week trip to Portugal. It is a beautiful historic home that has been renovated and restored. It was conveniently located near the Balhao Market and train station. It was large enough for our family of four couples, and had enough seating and dining space for all of us. There was a lovely outdoor area as well where we enjoyed breakfast. Jorge was very responsive to our questions, and sent us a very helpful list of recommendations of things to do during our stay. He even left us a bottle of wine and some delicious treats to enjoy.

Amazing Home!
This property is amazing, beyond expectations and even better than the description and pictures. We stayed as a family of 8 - all adults. Plenty of space, spotless, comfortable, quiet and beautiful. Perfect location and in walking distance to restaurants, shopping, the river, grocery store, everything. Hosts were gracious and helpful and welcomed us with a bottle of Port. We almost didn’t book because of the lack of reviews, DO NOT hesitate. The house was recently completely renovated and now open for renting. My only regret is not staying longer. Obrigada Sofia and Jorge!!!

Oasis in the City
My family and I had a lovely stay in Sofia & Jorge's apartment in the city. It's clean, charming and airy with plenty of room to have your own space for a group of 5. The hosts were lovely! My son's birthday was the day we arrived. In our correspondence, I had asked for recommendations for special arrangements for this day. They offered to take over this endeavor since we were arriving late in the afternoon which was greatly appreciated. To further enhance our little celebration at the house they included a bottle of sparkling wine. It was a great way to begin our stay in Oporto. Thank you Sofia & Jorge!

La maison est exceptionnellement rénovée et décorée avec beaucoup de goût, les pièces sont grandes et confortables et bien aménagées. L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Porto à pieds. Beaucoup de restaurants autour, un supermarché à quelques pas, un très grand parking très proche. Les hôtes sont très agréables et serviables. La petite réparation nécessaire pendant la séjour a été effectuée dans la demi journée.

La maison est magnifique, superbement placée par rapport aux transports en commun et aux centres historiques de Porto. Elle est trés bien aménagée pour des grands groupes. Jardin charmant et convivial. Il est possible de tout faire à pied. Awesome Experience
We were 4 ladies travelling together.
Extremely safe neighbourhood.
The home was of Portuguese Character, which we loved.
Plenty of space. Lots of stairs, but we did not mind this aspect.
Location, Location, Location !!!!
We appreciated the fact that the owner had arranged airport transfer to the home - and also, we were able to check in early.
Everything went very smoothly. Could not have asked for anything more.
Would recommend whole heartedly!

I would like to recommend that Home Away make the payment experience more seamless.
As a group, we wanted to pay individually by credit card. This was not acceptable - and therefore - a burden on one persons credit card.
I hope this process can be improved.

Maison très spacieuse, en plein centre ville, mais sans nuisance sonore
Maison ancienne à 4 étages mais avec tout le confort actuel. Très bien située car on peut visiter beaucoup de choses à pied. Le double vitrage est indispensable vu la circulation et le bruit des mouettes et des bars alentour.
Il y a 4 grandes chambres (3 avec lit double et 1 avec 2 lits simples) et 2 des chambres ont une arrière-chambre avec 2 lits simples chacune. La literie est de bonne qualité. Les draps et les serviettes sont fournies.
Le revêtement du canapé s'émiette mais il reste utilisable.
La cuisine est tout équipée et il y avait même liquide vaisselle, éponge, et des produits des occupants d'avant comme du beurre, des confitures, du café,...
Le petit jardin est bien appréciable.
Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et avenants,vraiment au petit soin.
Nous sommes très contents de notre séjour en partie grâce à cette jolie maison.
