Huge (8500 sq feet) architect designed 4 (or 5) bedroom oceanfront villa in the gated community of Vista Mar. 5th bedroom (master suite) available for extra $250/night. 1 hour west of Panama City on the warm Pacific Ocean. Vista Mar boasts one of the best golf courses in Panama at very reasonable rates. Beach Club, Beach Club restaurant, Marina (boat and ocean activities available for rent) and Marina restaurant a short walk from the house. Fully equipped kitchen with bbq and multiple large outdoor shaded terraces. Full time staff (husband and wife) on site available to cook and provide additional services if desired for modest additional fee (arranged on sight). Internet coverage throughout the house. Smart TV in kitchen and rec room. Just bring along your Netflix/Prime account. Large infinity plunge pool and gorgeous 35 m lap pool for playing, floating, cooling off or exercise. 30 steps down your private concrete staircase to large sandy beach and warm Pacific Ocean (safe to swim for all ages). We are a Canadian couple from Calgary, Alberta Canada who purchased the lot in vista mar and built this home. It has been a labor of love and we are very proud of the result.
Why they chose this property
We wanted perfect weather and oceanfront. We think Panama is very much like Hawaii but better weather! We had also heard a great deal about Panama as the number 1 retirement destination worldwide and have not been disappointed. We just need to retire first to enjoy!
What makes this property unique
Each time I come back to this beautiful place and gaze out from the terrace at the ocean and sky as the sun is going down is an experience that literally brings tears to my eyes.
