Spacious one bedroom apartment in La Cala De Mijas. Fantastic location, no car required, walking distance to all amenities.

The apartment is in a fantastic location, walking distance to beach, the village and all the bars and restaurants. Just a few hundred metres from the bus stop if you wish to explore all the Costa del Sol has to offer.

This 1st floor apartment is spacious and bright with a south facing balcony. The Bedroom has a double bed and in the living room there is a sofa bed for an extra guest. A spacious open plan living/dining area and a separate kitchen. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. The apartment comes fully equipped with everything you might need during your stay, English tv channels, air conditioning/heating, washing machine, and Wi-Fi throughout.

It is a short stroll from the apartment to a selection of bars and restaurants to choose from Batutta for an evening drink or Snack Attack open all day for breakfast and snacks, there is a Lidl supermarket on your doorstep stocking everything you might need during your stay. A five minute stroll will take you into the village where there is a wide variety of bars and restaurants to choose from. From typical Spanish cuisine at the Venta Sorroche to fine dining at Little Geranimum or a cocktail at the jet-set Olivias La Cala.

The complex has a large pool and also a childrens pool.

There is a bus stop directly outside the complex where you can travel to Fuengirola or Marbella.
For the golfers, there is the 9 hole La Noria, a 5 minutes walk away, or Santana Golf Club and the well know La Cala Resort are a five minute drive away.

Needs deep clean and refurbishment

Outside of building good.apartment inside very poor.mould in bathroom.fridge freezer leaks water every other day.table broken hinge.bookcase broken shelf.outside chairs broken.settee filthy under the throw.bed dips in the middle.cupbord where hot water tank located filthy.no first aid kit.no fire extinguisher.no smoke alarm all of which required by Spanish law. I have photos of all of the above.

1 Bed LA CALA

The bathroom is looking a bit tired & cleanliness was basic but it had everything you would needed for your stay the location & grounds,pool, gardens etc more than made up for these minor issues every thing you needed for La Cala is on your doorstep Alison in the office was also very helpful we found all staff to be polite & professional & responsive to any questions we had from booking to departure we would recommend this company & apartment to anyone we had a great holiday!!

Lovely apartment. Bathroom is in need of an update. Otherwise ok. Nothing special. The balcony is in shade from about 1pm every day. This was in June.

Property not fit for Winter Lets

This property is unfit for lets of more than a week in the height of Summer. Firstly it is advertised as being South facing which it is not, it's South East, so no sunshine on balcony after 2 oclock. Not a nice prospect in Wintertime. The interior badly needs upgrading, sofabed hard and uncomfortable and not clean. Bedroom has an old foam mattress on the bed, built-in wardrobe, two two drawer bed-side lockers and that's it. No set of drawers to store personal items. The bare minimum. Bathroom not safe for an older person as getting in an out of the bath to access the shower is dangerous for someone who is not agile.I had to request a non slip bathmat. The kitchen was poorly equipped for someone trying to cook a meal as equipment is non-existent, the bare minimum was provided. I had to buy some items to facilitate cooking meals. The entire property needs a deep clean, mopping a floor is not cleaning. The mop was stored on the balcony along with dirt from the last time it was swept. Balcony furniture old, heavy, hard to manoeuvre and well worn. I have stayed in this complex a few times and this is the worst I've come across. The advertising needs to be amended particularly in it's description of it's aspect as is not accurate. The photographs are deceiving and do not reflect the actual condition of the place.

nice little apartment ideal for 2 people and close to all amenities

the apartment is in need of a little TLC which we informed the agency about but overall I would go back all also recommend .Cala Mijas is a very nice place not over run by tourists and the boardwalk is great.
