The main entrance door leads into a spacious open-plan living area, with a large fireplace in the corner, with 2 sofas and comfortable chairs grouped around a large coffee table. Beyond the sitting area, there is a formal dining area, whilst to one side is a very well-equipped kitchen. On the one side of the kitchen, there is a guest WC which also contains a washing machine. At the next door, there is an entrance to the elevator giving easy access to all the levels of the villa, which makes it very suitable also for wheelchair users.
The villas have five air-conditioned bedrooms including 3 twins and 2 doubles all with ensue facilities, including 2 turbo massage baths and 2 turbo massage showers. All bedrooms have satellite TV as well as a DVD player and all have terraces or balconies with patio tables and comfortable director`s chairs. Two of the twin bedrooms are particularly spacious and have additional, small single beds suitable for children. There are 2 doubles and 1 twin/triple at the first-floor level and a further twin/triple on the ground floor which has a shower room suitable for wheelchair use.
At the lower ground floor level there is a twin bedroom with an en suite turbo massage shower. This bedroom has sliding patio doors to a quiet terrace and a lawn area to the side of the property.

Villa Hermes is located at the village of Tavronitis and it is 30 km west of Chania. Tourism interest is pretty low and the village retains an authentic ambiance with very friendly shopkeepers, delighted to have the opportunity to practice their English, to have the chance to hear about other people`s life style or tell about their own. In the village of Tavronitis you will find a couple of convenient mini-markets, there`s a butcher bakery and a patisserie. If you go down by the sea there are 3-4 tavern`s along the pebbly shore line which stretches almost 10 km around the bay to Kolymbari, known for its harbor side fish taverns.

A car is recommended for your transportation. We can organize a transfer in order to come to the villa and the day after rental cars can be delivered at the property (extra charge).

This is a house and not a hotel, so please treat the property with respect as if it was your own :)
1. You can arrive at your accommodation after 15:00 on the Arrival Date of your holiday and you must leave by 11:00 on the Departure Date. But in any case if you wish to arrive earlier or depart later than the mentioned hours feel free to contact us and we will fulfill your request if the villa is available with no extra cost. If your arrival will be delayed, you must contact us so that alternative arrangements can be made. If you fail to do so you may not be able to gain access to the Property. If you fail to arrive by midday on the day after the Arrival Date and you have not contacted us, we may treat the booking as having been cancelled by you.

2. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not enter the property or stay overnight in the property. Any kind of Party for more than the people staying in the property must be informed prior booking the villa, which in some cases it might not be accepted and if accepted extra charge might apply. In case you do so, we can refuse to hand over the Property to you, or can require you to leave. We will treat any of these circumstances as a cancelation of the booking by you and we shall be under no obligation to refund you for any fees already paid to us
in those circumstances. Any refund will be at our sole discretion

3. Every effort has been made to ensure that you have an enjoyable and memorable holiday. If however, you have any cause for complaint it is important that action is taken as soon as possible. It is essential that you contact us if any problem arises so that it can be speedily resolved. It is often extremely difficult (and sometimes impossible) for us to resolve difficulties properly unless we are promptly notified. In particular, complaints of a transient nature(example: electric power issues, warm water is out etc.) cannot possibly be investigated unless you will let us know as soon as possible whilst you are in residence.
Also after staying in the property for 48 hours and we have not received any message or email from you about any broken facilities/amenities in the property, we will hold the guest responsible for any damages caused and must be paid or replaced by the guest on spot.

4. Smoking is Not allowed in the properties so we request all of our guests not to smoke in the properties
but to smoke outside on the exterior areas such us by swimming pools, balconies, verandas, patios or terrace

5. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. Cleaning and linnen change is done every 3/4 days.
In case you wish for the villa to be cleaned more often, it’s possible for an extra charge.

6. Hot Tub: No children under the age of 5 permitted in hot tubs at any time without adult supervision. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. Our housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in all tubs prior to your arrival therefore it may not be warm until later that evening.

7. Pool: The pool is not covered, built to the standards of the Greek Tourism Organization EOT. Parents have full responsibility for supervision of their minor children No children under the age of 12 permitted the pool at any time without adult supervision. When using the pool, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk.

8. Fireplace: The fireplace is working with wood which will be provided.

9. Tenants agree to respect the property. In case of any damage that will be made, the tenants will have to pay the cost on the spot and before leaving the villa.

10. The owner agrees to provide a clean home, cleaned just before the arrival of tenants.
Cleaning is done by us, changing towels and bed linen is included in the price.
