This spacious, comfortable home has a large living area for all to gather and a large tropical yard to relax in with seasonal fruit trees.

When it is time to dine, there is a large kitchen or an outdoor BBQ for grilling delectable island treats. There are many wonderful restaurants within walking distance too.

Literally a 2 minute walk to the beach but yet quiet and off the main road. This is a beautiful home that has been lovingly maintained and was extremely clean. Very well appointed kitchen as well as a grill, more than we needed! It has a lovely backyard that is great place to relax. We loved getting up in the morning and walking down to the beach and the many places there were to walk from this home, and at night we could hear the waves from the open windows. This home was advertised as having 3 bedrooms but actually has 4 plus an additional daybed in the family room if needed. I would highly recommend this home as the perfect place to stay!!!

Good for a large group of people but...

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was dirty inside when we arrived, but the bedding and towels were clean. The house had no insulation, Sheetrock and burned out bulbs. Switches didn’t work and had a problem with bugs. This is the first time we’ve ever had issues here. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. We come every year and Kauai Vacations treats us well. This was just an unfortunate experience for us.

Reviewer Comments: This house is very similar to the one my husband had growing in Kailua (Oahu) and where my children would visit their grandparents--so it has a very comfortable, roomy, child friendly getaway for us to take our son's family. We liked that we could walk to the beach, walk to places to get food and have a short drive to get groceries or go to a shopping center. It has a great layout, wonderful yard and everything we needed. We plan to come back again!

Amazing location! 5 min walk to beach and restaurants. House is charming and lots of ocean breeze. No need for AC if you open all the windows and use fans. Wonderful Hawaiian breeze and ocean sounds.

Adorably charming vintage home in an excellent location! The house was actually more spacious than it looked in the photos. The beds we used were comfortable. A/C would be an excellent addition to the home- the many fans got a workout during our stay. Would happily book another visit any time!Our only problem was that the main TV was difficult to use. It was not a smart TV so we could not mirror our devices and could not get any cable channels. We couldn’t find any instructions.

The house accommodated 6 adults amply, and the location is amazing, within walking distance to Brenneke and Poipu Beaches, with all the amenities needed without unnecessary frills. I felt the spirit of the place fill me with calm, and enjoyed making a lei from the the plumeria trees on the property. Please don't 'upgrade' it! There are enough McMansions and Resorts with AC; if that's what you crave look elsewhere.

Wonderful Thanksgiving with the family

The house was great! Comfortable for all of us! Lots of room to gather and also quiet spaces as well. The yard was wonderful plenty of privacy and room for our 6 year old granddaughter to run off energy. Couldn’t beat the proximity to two beaches, one for the adults and a safe one for the littles. Don’t hesitate book it now!

Pleasant Hawaiian Holiday with little ones

Us grandparents along with son, DIL, one toddler and one infant had a lovely time. The house was spacious and the outdoors inviting. We had room for the little ones to nap quietly. We were close enough for a 2 year old to walk to the beach to play. The kitchen was well supplied so that we could eat in some days. Take out food was close and numerous restaurants a short drive away. There were plenty of activities for everyone.

The cottage felt like an original on the street and authentically a beach rental. We loved the presence of the roosters each morning to wake us up and get an early start to the day. I do wish that the kitchen had a dishwasher , however, it suited us well and we very much enjoyed the lovely simplicity of the yard and location. All the beach chairs and umbrellas made it an easy walk to the beach ready to enjoy the ocean . We would happily return for another wonderful stay !

Lovely old style house, beautiful beach

We all loved this house, lots of room, easy to also have privacy even though it’s single wall. Big lawn. Clean! Comfortable beds and furniture. I was tempted to not say good things so it would be easily available to us again. May be harder w children because of noise factor, but not if family is comfortable w some noise.
