Must be seen to appreciate! Yellowstone River frontage with incredible views of the Crazy Mountains. While a small town, Big Timber affords travelers excellent dining and libations, a grocery store, movie theater, pharmacy, hospital, sports and gun shop, fly shop, gym, great city park which includes tennis courts, playground and a public pool. Close to a golf course, fly fishing on Boulder and Yellowstone Rivers with private ponds and mountain lakes nearby. There are numerous hiking and horseback opportunities in the near by Crazy and Bear Tooth mountain ranges. Lots of options for even more activities if you venture a little farther with Bozeman and Billings each only about an hour away, Big Sky under 2 hours and Yellowstone National Park about a 90 minute drive. Dale is a professional outdoor photographer/writer, fly fishing guide as well as a NSCA Level 1 shooting instructor with a fondness for Labrador Retrievers and pointing dogs.. Camp S is an absolutely spectacular 58 acre piece of Yellowstone River property with incredible views of the Crazy Mountains in Big Timber, Montana. The location is in a small homey town yet close to bigger cities (80 miles to Billings, 35 miles to Livingston, 70 miles to Bozeman (home of Montana State University)) with easy access to Yellowstone National Park (88 miles to the Gardiner entrance).
