The place was very nice, breakfast was wonderful every day, and Ana the host was so sweet and helpful, helped us get around the coast every day with bus times, restaurant recommendations, and more!
Anna was an amazing host who went above and beyond in every way to make sure our trip to the coast was amazing. She was a great communicator and helped us get to where we wanted to go!
Wonderful attentive host and property relatively close to Amalfi Village (3.5km's). Relaxing vibe. Her restaurant recommendation our first night was outstanding. Her Italian breakfast included lots of fruit and cakes, coffee etc.
Anna our host was wonderful. Very helpful with directions and info. I thought house was away from the coast but we had a beautiful view of the bay. We had a hard time finding the place, even in the second day.
Anna is the BEST!!!! There is a shuttle service, bus, and taxi options to easily get to the different cities. Anna is always there to help and answer questions!
Our family had a fantastic stay! We were a little nervous because it does not map well on Google maps. Do not be worried, definitely stay here. The property is right on the bus stop. The rooms were clean, the view was amazing and Anna took wonderful care of us. We came from Rome and visited Pompeii. Anna had a driver waiting for us at Pompeii to bring us back to her place. She was wonderful! We would definitely stay here again.
We had a great time staying at Anna's. The location is beautiful with an incredible view. We had a car, and it was easy to get to dining in Amalfi and Conca dei Marini. There was always easy and free parking available outside of the house overnight. Anna put out a great breakfast every day, which was incredibly nice! Our only snag was on check in we were having some difficulty getting in touch with Anna to get a precise location of the property and what the check on procedures actually were. Once we got that sorted out we had an excellent stay!
The Irish b&b on the Amalfi Coast is a great place to spend the night or week.
My wife and I spent a week with Anna and her family. Right outside the front gate is the bus stop so you can go just about go anywhere on the Amalfi Coast from the b&b. Due to a rainy week Anna made us dinner almost every night and I cannot tell you how much we appreciated and enjoyed your real Italian cooking. My wife and I highly recommend Irish b&b, Anna and her whole extended family for your vacation need.
The room was well kept and clean. Anna also runs a small grocery store so you can buy things if you need it.
Anna was very kind and provided us with bus tickets and other tourist information. Property was not as beautiful as pictures (netting still covered fruit trees). Appears that property is a lot for her to manage (she has elderly family members who live with her) and a small dog who barks a lot. Overall our room was clean and Anna was very kind. Parking space hard to maneuver. Amalfi coast in June was very crowded.
Our stay with Anna and her family was fabulous. Anna was very helpful with helping us understand the busses before we arrived so we were prepared. Throughout our stay she made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was fabulous. Anna also has a small store that she runs so you are able to buy snacks etc. as well as bus tickets. As for area, there is a bus stop right outside of Anna’s house which will take you into Amalfi. You must go into amalfi first to get anywhere else which can be frustrating. There are restaurants that will shuttle you to/from for free for dinner. The suite itself was very cute and worked well for the 2 of us. My only complaint is many ants (which I know cannot be controlled) as well as the bed was not very comfortable and we had some issues with water temperature and pressure. All in all, Anna’s stay was worth it for the sheer fact of her being so welcoming and the amazing breakfast. If you are someone who plans on spending more time in the room, needs a more comfortable bed and worries about higher water pressure etc. this may not be the place for you, but for what we wanted it was perfect.
We have stayed at many VRBO properties but no host has ever done more for us than Anna. One example is when we couldn't catch the bus to Amalfi because it was too full. She flagged down her cousin who she knew would be driving by on her way to work, and she had her drive us to our destination. So kind and she knows everyone!
This property is not a high-end, perfect property but we loved it because of Anna. The breakfast every day was great. Lemon and orange trees off our balcony where we could pick what we wanted. The view was gorgeous and the bus stop was right across the road which was very handy. And the bus ride down the cliffs to Amalfi was an adventure all on its own! Anna knew the bus schedule inside and out and it saved us a lot of money. For example, a taxi ride to a cooking class we were taking (Anna helped arrange that too) was 80 euros ... the bus 4.80 euros for two.
We got to know Anna's family a little which was also nice. Watching her two aunts (90 & 93) working in the gardens everyday was something to see. Anna also has a little store on site which was also very handy.
If you'd like the experience of having your own space while at the same time having the experience of living with a real Italian family, then this is a great spot.
The ad is basically as described but in May the beautiful lemon & orange trees are still covered with netting to protect from any winter frost. The imagery is not a beautiful as the pictures.
Our room was large and comfortable. There is no Netflix and the TV only has a few Italian channels. We'd not normally need TV but the accommodation is a distance from Almalfi. The ad is correct in stating this, and the bus stop is outside the property but busses are every 1 to 2 hours and you must wave them down. If they are full, you wait for the next. We struggled our first night and the next day. We ended up taking a taxi our first night in, which was 55€. There are no restaurants close by. If you've a car/vespa/motorcycle, you'll be fine.
Anna, your host, is a lovely lady. Very helpful. She does have a small market on her property & sells snacks and bus tickets (which you must buy in advance if taking the Sita bus). Anna makes a great breakfast. If she offers you eggs, take the eggs.
Besides navigating the location, as we didn't have a car, our only real complaint was the noise. It wasn't awful but the sound carried (echoed) and we could hear someone walking around upstairs and the dog barking.
Anna was amazing from our arrival to departure she really made sure we had everything we needed. It’s a homey place to stay that will having you feeling like family. Breakfast was amazing and fresh fruit all day. Whatever we needed Anna helped us from taxis to places to go and how to take the bus. I would stay again 10/10
We had a wonderful stay. Anna was most helpful and accommodating.
Anna messaged us before our arrival and gave us all the information we needed to make the most of our stay in the Amalfi Coast. The room was very clean and breakfast was beautifully laid out.
Anna made our stay!
