This charming terraced 2 bedroom villa, situated above the bay of Aiguebelle, faces south west with its spectacular views overlooking the Mediterranean and the islands. It is built entirely on its own level assuring complete independence and privacy. The house includes all the basic amenities making it both comfortable and functional. On the ground floor, a spacious living room and a comfortable lounge/TV area, an open kitchen with a dining area inside and out front on the terrace overlooking the islands. A hallway leads to a master bedroom with ensuite, the guest room and second independent bathroom. The steps on the side of the house lead to a private swimming pool where you can wind down, relax and take a refreshing dip while enjoying the stunning views.

Wonderful!

What an amazing villa. The views are stunning and the villa is modern, clean, well-maintained and furnished to a high standard. We particularly loved the different outdoor spaces to relax and take in the views. Can't recommend it highly enough and we didn't want to leave!

Perfect Location and Holiday

We had a wonderful holiday and perfect week in this beautiful house. The lake view was better than expected (amazing!) and the pool is very clean. Kitchen well equipped. Everything very clean. We enjoyed every minute and will come again. The property management is perfect. Maartje is very friendly and extremly polite. We had such a pleasant stay.

Top location in South of France

Perfect vacation

We had a perfect vacation in this beautiful Maison. It was quiet, peaceful and very private. My 7 year old son loved the swimming pool so much and says that he wants to come here again next year. I am deeply grateful to Frederik and Maartje, who warmly welcomed and prepared good facilities. All the necessary things were perfectly equipped and the help brochure was practical.

Traumhafter Blick auf das Meer

Loved Le Lavandou!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Le Lavandou in general, and at Marjalou in particular. The location and view are spectacular. The home is very comfortable and clean, and the owners very accommodating. We definitely plan to return.

Wunderbare Villa mit atemberaubenden Blick

Schöner kann man nicht wohnen. Einrichtung, Terrasse, Ausblick, Pool und Gartenanlage - einfach ateymberaubend, noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Die Eigentümer Fred und Maartje wohnen direkt unterhalb der Villa und kümnern sich charmant und unaufdringlich um das Wohl der Gäste. Das Haus liegt in einem schönen Villenviertel im Hang im Ortsteil Aiguebelle. Le Lavandou und la Cavaliere sind mit dem Auto innerhalb von 5-10 Minuten bequem zu erreichen, dort gibt es auch viele Geschäfte, Restaurants etc. Am Strand direkt unterhalb gibt es auch Restaurants, die jedoch noch geschlossen hatten. Aiguebelle ist ein prima Standort, von dort sind viele Orte, Strände und Landschaften der Côte d'Azur gut zu erreichen.

Favorite Villa in the World

I spend nine months traveling each year. I've stayed in villas from Belsize Park, London to Port Douglas, Australia, and everywhere in between. Nothing has compared to the hospitality, quality, beautiful decor, intelligent layout, helpful hosts, astounding views, and functional elegance of this villa. I initially rented it to complete a six week wine tasting tour to find the best wine in the world (found it not 10 km from the villa). I have made the villa a permanent part of my annual rotation, recommended to dozens of friends, made a video about it, and will be going back to take aerial footage so I can better promote it for the hosts. Every day that I woke up at this villa reminded me that I had made the correct life decisions to end up there, in that space, looking at that view, with those impeccable hosts, and enjoying, easily, the best villa in the world.

Perfect Place for a peaceful holiday

Due to its location up in the hillside over the bay of Aiguebelle, the property is very peaceful, completely without traffic noise and with a spectacular view over the bay of Le Lavandou with the islands Port Cross and Île du Levant in the horizon. The villa itself is tastefully decorated, clean and very well equipped. The outdoor ground and terrace is a dream, surrounded with trees and beautiful potted plants. It’s a perfect place to sit down with a glass of wine on warm evenings, enjoying the view over the sea and the lights from Le Lavandou, accompanied by the decent sound of songbirds and some frogs down the hill. There is a private pool, and there is a beautiful beach downhill, just a few minutes’ drive away. Both the beach and some restaurants are within 15 minutes’ walk, but as the walk back uphill is rather steep, using a car is recommended. Nearest town with shopping centres and outdoor-life is Le Lavandou, about 5 kilometres away. All in all, a perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Sehr gepflegt, ungezwungen, schönes Ambiente

Eine wunderbar gepflegte Anlage mit einem komplett ausgestatteten Haus. Ruhige Lage mit wunderbarem Blick auf das Meer und viel Privatsphäre in schöner Natur. Strände und kleine romantische Badebuchten sind in rund 15 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Es ist deutlich zu erkennen, dass sich der Besitzer persönlich um die Anlage und die Gäste kümmert. Viele geschmackvolle Details und unkomplizierte Hilfe bei Fragen. Frederik Viale, der Besitzer, hat eine gute Kombination geschaffen zwischen Ungezwungenheit und gehobenem Ambiente. Für Gäste die das suchen ein schöner, ruhiger Platz für Ferien. Für Partylöwen weniger geeignet. April 2012, D. und T. Meier

Endroit exceptionnel, calme, ensoleillé

Nous avons passé les fêtes de fin d’année à la villa Marjalou 1, un site magnifique. C’est une superbe villa avec un aménagement de très bon goût, tout confort et très bien équipée. Il y a une vue panoramique vraiment à couper le souffle, le tout balayé par le soleil. Nous avons eu un accueil très chaleureux et sympathique. Je recommande à tous ceux qui cherchent le calme dans un environnement exceptionnel. Nous retournerons certainement. En fait, le site et la villa sont encore plus beaux qu’en photos.

maison le marjalou

superbe maison propre et zen, aménagée avec beaucoup de goût, tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour réussi. vue magnifique, ambiance chaleureuse et beaucoup de calme pour des vacances détente. l'accueil est exceptionnel et les services sont à la hauteur des prestations qui sont offerts avec la maison. on a toujours passé de supers vacances dans cette location , d'ailleurs, on y retourne chaque année. A réserver les yeux fermés !

Eine wunderschöne, exklusive Unterkunft

Wir reisen nun schon über 20 Jahre in diese Region. Die Unterbringung und die Betreuung war einmalig. Sauber und einmalig gepflegt - so wie zu Hause - und das Ganze bei einer einmalig tollen Aussicht, Sie meinen Sie springen direkt in das Meer. Der Pool ist ein Gedicht. Wir kommen gerne wieder hierhin zurück. Wir können dieses Feriendomizil allen Freunden uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. Danke an Frederik.
