Lagoon house with private pool in the heart of Maharepa village: supermarket (in front of the house), snacks (in front and next to the house) and restaurants (next to the house with possibility of takeaway) ), banks, post office, medical centers, various businesses only a few meters away.
The house has 4 bedrooms, 1 mezzanine with sleeping, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room with panoramic views of the lagoon, billiards, covered terrace (with dining area and seating area) around the pool facing the lagoon, pontoon from which you can admire the sunrise and sunset, the coral reef, the change of color of the lagoon and of course the fish!
At your disposal: 2 single-seater kayaks, ping-pong, table football, mini soccer, billiard and pedal boat 4 people.
Many water and land activities are proposed to Moorea we will be happy to assist you!

Awesome view and location

Lovely home with pool. On ocean. Great snorkeling. Covered patio with comfy furniture. Great a/c in the bedrooms. Owners were amazing and very quick to resolve a few issues we had. Would rent from them again. Location is close to shopping, groceries and restaurants.

Perfect Stay

Favorite vacation house, best location

Look no further if what you want is a vacation home that is so close to the water that it feels like a overwater bungalow. The location is second to none especially since you can walk across the street to the market, shops, and restaurants.

All the reviews you have read are true. This place is paradise. Wow. You won’t want to ever leave. The front yard has snorkeling and kayaking and unbelievable night stars. Great rooms, all the cooking equipment you want and across from the grocery store and all the shopping. However, you will never know it, super quiet and can’t hear anything but the ocean. Stop now and book this place.

Return Stay

We returned as a memorial trip for my husband who passed away 16 months ago. We loved it when we stayed in 2019 so booked again when we returned with some of his ashes. The house was the same as I remembered with the addition of some new appliances. The spit could not be more idyllic and convenient to everything. Karine and Robert are fantastic hosts who respond promptly to messages and even popped their heads in to say hi once! The only improvements I would make would be new sun loungers as the ones there now are far too low to get in and out of and you cannot lay on your stomach if you managed to get in one. Also the steps from the dock into the water need replacing. Would be nice if there was an easier entrance to the water for us older folks (rock steps to sand are very slippery so take care when using them. Thoroughly wonderful 2 weeks!

Amazing Paradise

This house is great! We went to Mo’orea in the height of summer, so we needed to leave the windows and doors open all the time. The AC in the bedrooms works wonderfully. So yep, Geckos, some ants, and one night a crab friend in the bathroom. We left the windows open… what did we expect on a tropical island. There is Netflix, a washer, the pool is fantastic. The snorkeling outside the property is amazing. I am already missing my fish friends. They let you use kayaks. The town it is in has ATMS, a supermarket… some restaurants you can walk to. We never rented a car on the island. If you are more mobile than I, the house has bikes you can use to get places. It had everything I needed to cook meals.

Owners are rude, there are cockroaches, the property listing is not accurate.

We had a very bad experience; we attempted to discuss with the owners and were told they would not speak to us given our concerns. -Only correspondence before check-in was a forwarded email with a previous guest's contact and trip information still included. -information to open the shared courtyard gate was not accurate (the gate is not manual it is automatic and requires the fob). we called the two contacts given in the check-in PDF and noone answered or called us back. Robert did eventually return an email about this after we had figured out how to enter with the car -we only choose this listing because it had two kayaks available in the listing, but the kayaks are not seaworthy and there are only one and a half paddles available (pics available). -we saw two large cockroaches run across the floor (in master bath and a bedroom), the only cockroaches we have seen in the 3 weeks we have spent in the society islands -very low main doorway with a warning written in black ink on dark wood so that we couldn't see it, and my partner whacked his head multiple times -the house manual says in red caps to only drink the water from the fridge filter. the fridge filter replacement light is on when we arrive, so we email the host. the host responds saying we can drink the tap water, but since this is conflicting information we bought bottled water because we did not want to get sick. -the manual says not to use too many kitchen appliances at once, but when we tried to cook dinner our last night using the stove the fuse blew even though we were using no other kitchen appliance at that time. this took out the electricity to the entire kitchen and living room. we made 6 phone calls and sent 1 email before being able to reach the hosts. meanwhile, we spent hours walking the house trying various fuse boxes, as no instructions were available in the house manual, even though this is clearly a known issue. the hosts did eventually send their son to flip the breaker, which was behind a locked door in the garage. -early cleaner arrival on our last day, around 7:30am. That means we had no privacy for our last morning in the house, after spending the night before trying to turn the lights back on so we could cook dinner.

Appearance seems decieving, not worth it

We are disappointed with our holiday as the owner is building a second house at the same premises within 5 meters. So noisy and excessive dust, there was a hole in the roof top nearby the toilet and bathroom, so many mosquito here frequently bite us, main bed room close to the spa shower room has tiny insects, every day we were bitten by it on our back, hips. I and my husband have to move to another bed room. We have to kill mosquitoes every day. Outdoor swimming pool is nice but mosquitoes are everywhere lurking from mid day till , evening got worst. We can't open any windows as there is no fly screen for kitchen and lounge entrance door, have to close at all times, to close once go in and out. Location is great, beautiful, seems like a heaven. But owner is rude, rarely reply. He thinks we are just complaining, why should we exert our efforts to complain if we were happy. We have to speak up because it was the truth, we have to wash our car many times as it is standing within 5 meters from construction, excessive cements and dust from grinding, cement mixing and heavy machinery in process of construction except Sat, Sunday. It is a matter of principle to let us know before we arrive. We were expecting a quite holiday here. There was a billiard table, table tennis/ping pong table were covered with plastic in the garage with construction tools, were not accessible at all. 2 bikes were standing there with full of dust, washing machine was barricaded by frames of door lying there, blocking it. The so-called safe children playground was not safe at all to play for children, garden horse pipes were running there and so many nasty ants were there and it bites. The owner was dishonest and claimed that the new house was located within 50 meters distance. The main dining room is so hot there is only an air cooler only. Every morning we woke up by 7:30am as workers came to construction site and commenced their work. Owner should advertise that he is building a second house at this stage, there was no billiard table, table tennis. If he is responsible owner, he should at least apologise, but that is not happening. Swimming pool tiles were came off, the house need a renovation. We are supposed to drink water from the fridge, red warning light was there as a warning to change the filter, the certificate which attached to the fridge in regards to quality of drinking water was expired already, it was from 2009. Closing the house entrance door was challenging.

This is an amazing house in heaven.

This property is a pleasure to stay at. It’s very well maintained and taken care of, and has lots of charm and personality. It has everything in it you would need and has more than that outside. The pool overlooks the ocean which gives amazing views 24 hours a day. It’s located perfectly between a market and several restaurants. If you’re having reservations about this property, don’t. Just book it.

Great Location & Amenities!

We loved staying here! The longer we stayed here, the more we loved it! As others have mentioned, the house is a bit "quirky," with different flooring & levels within the house. But it begins to feel more "authentic Polynesian" and the owners have obviously invested a lot into this property over the years. The location is fantastic - right on the water with beautiful fish & coral right past the dock. Having a private pool and large patio is rare & very enjoyable! We also enjoyed watching the stars at night from the seaside lounge chairs. The owners were very quick to respond to a few questions. We wish we had booked a longer stay. As we saw in many other reviews, it is so convenient to walk to the grocery store, the bakery, shops & restaurants from here! We liked the secure gate and bridge leading to this property - we felt very safe & private the way it was set up. The house is very spacious & well-equipped. The only people that may not be a good match for this property is those with mobility issues (with steps) or for those that need everything to be "fancy." We are so happy with our stay here in Moorea & highly recommend it!

Villa calme située au bord du lagon , du village avec proximité des commerces .Aucun accueil et instructions à notre arrivée ( interrupteur pour éclairage, situation machine à laver, …). Dysfonctionnement éclairage couloir des chambres, éclairage piscine, une douche avec un filet d’eau avec écoulement d’eau usée trop faible, installation électrique générale à revoir. Villa qui mériterait une réfection globale intérieure. Points positifs,la grande terrasse avec sa vue, canoés, piscine.

Our stay here was amazing! The neighborhood is great, dont miss Moorea Treasure gift shop just a few doors down and Caramel'in cafe across the street is unforgettable and may be the saddest part of going home as their pastries are beyond delicious! The ability to snorkle right off the dock and the stargazing from the pool was truly an unforgettable experience.

What an amazing place and Location

We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful house in Moorea! The view from the property is absolutely breathtaking—waking up to that scenery every morning was a dream. The snorkeling right outside the front door was perfect, offering an incredible opportunity to explore the vibrant underwater world. The private pool was a wonderful touch, providing the perfect place to relax after a day of adventure.The house itself was immaculately clean and well-maintained, making it feel like a true home away from home. Our host was super friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the middle of town with charming shops, delicious restaurants, and a convenient store just a short walk away. Quirky, spacious, great for families

Plenty of rooms, great size pool, stones step to amenities. Albeit a bit quirky (lots of add Ons to the home and a little old) makes for great hid and seek for the kids. Pool was fabulous to cool off, with so much covered space to dry & clean gear after a day out snorkeling. Aircon was great in all the rooms could be more comfortable with one in the lounge instead of the "air cooler" Did get bitten by mozzies if we needed to open the windows for a breeze (as expected) would have been nice to have insect screens. Was so convenient to have shops just a walk away. Fab bakery/cafe "Caramel" clothes shops, Pearls and a supermarket that got daily fresh pastries and hot food and Albert tours down the road. We did have a bit of a storm come through which pulled some guttering off and power outage. These were resolved so fast. Was a little hard finding the right driveway to the home as there are so many indiscriminate ones, possibly use Snack Dider as a landmark for entry point. The home has lots of pots and pans, rice cooker, coffee pod machine, utensils. Maybe more towels as only one thin beach towel and shower towel each. But a washing machine & powder is there to use. This place was great, a little old and quirky but gave us all that we needed and some xtras. We used the paddle boat which the kids loved but kept close to inshore as i think the winds may blow it far. Snorkeling was ok past the reef which drops off to 15mtrs. Had a reef shark swim by one evening, that was fun.
