Family Friendly Home In Private Land's End

Enjoy all the Kennebunks have to offer in this 1900 sq ft family home. This three-bedroom 2.5 bathroom home sleeps 6 with 1 queen bed, bunk beds, and a queen-size bed in the master.

You will find there is no shortage of things to do outside. Take a short stroll down a quiet dirt road to Land's End's water access. Here you may swim at high tide, enjoy a view of the harbor, Goat Island Lighthouse, the islands, and local fishing/lobster boats. Use one of our two tandem kayaks or bring your own and go explore one of the many islands in the harbor (Vaughn, Cape, Trott, Stage, etc.). Goat Island, home to Goat Island Lighthouse, is also a short paddle away, as are Pier 77 Restaurant, The Ramp, and Cape Pier Chowder House.

Land’s End is a pleasant mile walk to Cape Porpoise Center and a 5-minute drive to Dock Square, the Kennebunk Beaches, and Goose Rocks Beach.

Great House Close to the Best of Kennebunk

We had a great stay over the 4th of July week. The house was just as described and a perfect location to the Port and other Kennebunk activities. Loved having access to kayaks, too! Only suggestion would be to have more of an outdoor dining option.

PEACEFUL RETREAT

WE ENJOYED OUR STAY AT THIS LOVELY HOME IN A PRIVATE COMMUNITY IN CAPE PORPOISE. THE KAYAKING WAS WONDERFUL. THE HOUSE HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED TO COOK; VERY COMFORTABLE BEDS; CHARMING NEIGHBORHOOD. Quiet Cove at the Cusp of Downtown Kennebunkport

This adorable house is only about a 2 mile walk from downtown, but a couple of hundred feet from a quiet cove, loaded with kayaks for you to explore the ocean. This house was a perfect fit for a family with diverse interests: shopping and dining downtown, kayaking to Goat Island or to dinner at Ultramar, Casa 77 or the Chowder House, walks in a quiet neighborhood and quiet mornings for sleeping in. The house was well stocked with appliances and kitchen equipment for family dinners, a great washer dryer for beach laundry and all the necessary items. Great hosts, great house, even better location.

Great stay!

The rental was super clean and spacious for our rotating group of family and friends. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels & linens along with beach chairs. Air conditioning was great to have with the weather being so muggy and humid. The rooms were large and comfortable although note the master doesn't have a closet. It was great to have the grill but would have loved outdoor dining to maximize our time spent outside. We enjoyed using the tandem kayak but it definitely requires 2 people to maneuver! Kristin and Matthew were great to communicate with both prior to our visit and during- we so appreciate how accommodating they were!!

Simply amazing

The description of the property could not have been more accurate. Simply gorgeous home located within 5 minutes of everything your sea loving heart desires. The bay is so close, and the home owners provided kayaks. The bay is quite shallow and very calm so it is perfect for venturing out in the kayaks. The neighbors by the property were so very kind and lent us paddles. The home owners were very responsive to the few questions we had, but the home was equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. The beds were very comfortable, it was honestly just like being home. We enjoyed every second of our stay and look forward to coming back to Lands End.

A lovely house fully equipped to make your stay effortless. Great quiet location, beautiful access for kayaking, long walks and terrific restaurants in Cape Porpoise. Owners were wonderful and thoughtful with communications and we look forward to returning. A great Maine stay!

Great location and house

The place was in fantastic shape and very well equipped with most anything you needed. Kid friendly and a short walk to the inlet with kayak access. Also, very short drive to downtown or Cape Porpoise area for restaurants and groceries. Definitely a great experience.

Quite Maine Coast Retreat

Modern well designed home in a quiet neighborhood. Neighbors were very friendly and helpful. Easy access to protected harbor for paddle boards and kayaks. Easy bike ride into Kennebunkport for fun and ice cream.

Great stay near the water in Kennebunkport

My wife and I had a great experience here. Everything was as described, clean, and had everything we needed. The house checked all the boxes for us: Great location by the water, fully supplied kitchen, dog friendly and everything that you'd expect out of a beach home. Kristin was very responsive prior to and during our stay. I highly recommend staying here a group up to 4 or 5 and we will consider staying here again if we come to the Kennebunkport area.
